I had an hour or so to kill while my mom was shopping in Old Town Scottsdale so I was looking for a happy hour spot in the area. I hopped on the trusty Yelp app and came across Cobre Kitchen + Cocktails. I walked over and discovered that this bar/restaurant was inside the Canopy Hilton hotel. Ambiance (3.5/5): Enter the hotel, make a left, and you'll hit Cobre. There aren't any doors so it's part of the lobby area in the corner. I sat at the bar. Contemporary decor. Very much your typical, nice hotel bar. Service (4.5/5): There were two bartenders working and not a lot of customers so that made things easier but my bartender did a good job taking care of me. He wasn't friendly but he was efficient at his job. Food (N/A): Only drinks for me on this visit. Drinks (3.5/5): During happy hour, all cocktails are $2 off. While not a huge discount, they do have a nice list of 12 or so craft cocktails. I tried two and both were hits. One was a gin-based cocktail (Stone Fruit Collins) which was refreshing. The other was a vodka-based cocktail. This one was more on the sweet side. Solid all-around. If you're looking for some nice cocktails, this makes for a nice selection. It's more laid back than some other spots in Scottsdale which may be exactly what you're looking for.

This is the only one site restaurant and bar at Canopy Hiton old town Scottsdale. They serve breakfast and dinner, also happy hour daily but no lunch. We had a couple drinks at the bar and the cocktails were very good. Our bartender was a sweetheart and very friendly. The breakfast was just OK, food tasted pretty bland but portions were huge. I appreciated the gluten free toasts! The coffee bar was great for grab and go coffee drinks to start the day! As far as hotel restaurant goes, this one was pretty decent!

Early morning and needing coffee. Location: inside Hilton Canopy Parking: 3hr parking all @ hotel Price: average Taste: perfect hit for morning wake up Drink: vanilla latte Food: cinnamon roll, it was dry and not so soft. I did asked to warm up but did not help much. Staff: ladies at front greeted with a lovely smile and lovely attitude. Definitely great way to start the day.

Overall great experience. The grilled cheese here is top-notch. The bread is perfectly toasted. The cheese is melted just right, creating a gooey masterpiece. It's a simple sandwich done incredibly well. Solid 5/5.

Very Chic! I love the look. The place has just a nice ambiance. I must say. Easy to get to and has a lovely little patio if it's not too hot yet! It's located inside the Canopy Hilton in Scottsdale. We decided to have breakfast. Avocado Toast I know it has become a thing! If you would say. Seeing this on the menu. My boyfriend wanted to try it. Being it was his first time trying the newer breakfast item. Offering an assortment of pastries. We added a Cinnamon Roll. The Cinnamon Roll came out first! It was cold and dry. I think the server did say it was left over from the day before? You would think those were made fresh daily or just not served if its not appetizing. Next the Avocado Toast! The best thing that hit the table. It looked so pretty. It was delicious. Gigi was the next best thing. She was the hostess on that morning. She was attentive and helpful. What a great attitude! She's perfect for this industry. She's a keeper or actually she needs a promotion! Just my opinion of course! I'd come back for Gigi and the Avo toast for sure. Oh and maybe happy hour. I read that they have a nice!

Had breakfast here every day while staying in the hotel. Their take on Chilaquiles is so unique, very tasty. The breakfast burger looks simple but its packed with flavor. Their iced expresso drinks are delicious and a good service size for the price. The place is very clean and spacious and still gives an intimate vibe. Highly recommend it for breakfast

The most important thing I can say here is don't come to this place. The service isn't good and the food is worse. We sat the bar. They were not busy on a Saturday night- apparently word is out that this place isn't worth going to. It took 10 minutes to get water. We actually got cocktails well before water. I feel like it is the norm to serve water as soon as people sit down. We had to ask 3 times. We were going to start with the calamari. It was frozen, soggy and inedible. The sauce was worse. It was clear it was dumped out of a jar. The thicker sauce was separated from the water. And they didn't even bother to warm it up!!! It was service totally cold. There are so many other great places in Old Town. Do not go here. It's a waste.

Trendy little restaurant in the Canopy Hotel lobby. Cocktails were delicious. Food was tasty. Would highly recommend the elote for an appy. The southwest "ramen" was... interesting. Service was good. Would return again!

I've had the pleasure of dining here for both dinner and breakfast, both of which were very tasty! The menu offerings have a Mexican and/or Asian twist which was done really well. They are knowledgeable about celiac/ gluten free options which is helpful. The chilaquiles at breakfast and the ramen at dinner were both fantastic. Service is always friendly, but can be a bit slow on the patio. On Friday evenings they sometimes have live music and the Architectural details of the interior are modern and stunning making it a great place to hang out. They are dog friendly, so we come here often just for cocktails and to vibe. They serve local press coffee and make a stellar espresso martini best enjoyed in one of the large comfortable couches. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, this place has a lot to offer!

We've been here for drinks, stayed here early on on the opening, but this was our first time dining....and it didn't disappoint!!! We got our fave server, Andrew, by chance as we had reservations for Az Restaurant Week. Each course had great options and neither of us were disappointed. We don't usually order dessert but obvi since it came with...we indulged!! We both tried each other's dishes...No Complaints here!!! ¡Súper delicioso! The ambiance was great and there was an acoustic guitar singer to add to the stellar experience. We love Hiltons, but this dining experience was clutch!! Even got to go upstairs the rooftop bar to say "Hola" to Ashley and see the sunset. Definitely a "must dine" experience.

I have been wanting to check out Cobre Kitchen + Cocktails for the longest time. A few months ago they were part of Arizona Restaurant Week but I was not able to attend. I recently decided to pop in for just some drinks. Hey, it's the holidays! First off, I love that this is located in the hotel lobby. It's airy, bright, spacious, and welcoming. The decor and design aesthetic are just right for their location in Old Town Scottsdale (honestly, Canopy by Hilton got one of the BEST spots here!). Because the space is so large, there are plenty of tables but my eyes immediately went to the bar seating. And I am SO glad that it did because that's where I met Sherdes! She not only introduced the menu to me but told me about some of the restaurant's upcoming plans and events (definitely follow them on social media as more will be happening here). As someone who used to live in Asia, I have a high regard for the quality of hotel F&B options. From the sounds of it, Cobre Kitchen is following that trend. The menu has recently been overhauled and the menu is focused on healthy options with locally-sourced ingredients (while Hilton is an enormous chain this location is franchise-owned). Cobre isn't a restaurant that is only going to be dominated by tourists. It is a destination restaurant for those of us living here. The cocktail menu is extensive with a lot of creative options. One of my go-to drinks is a Negroni and Cobre's version is the Remixed Negroni (gin, aperol, lillet blanc, squeezed lime, simple syrup). Perfectly blended and crafted! The titles of the other drinks are interesting, too ("The Curtain Call" LOL). While most visitors to the hotel are bound for the rooftop, I have to be honest that I would actually prefer to hang out in Cobre. The rooftop is a great place to grab a drink, take a selfie with Camelback Mountain in the background, and that's about it. Cobre has a warm energy where you could stay awhile. I will definitely be back next time to dive into the food! As a native New Mexican, one thing that caught my eye was a New York strip steak with New Mexico green chile butter. Say no more!

    Breakfast burrito 10/10
    Carmen T.

I had the breakfast burrito. It was very flavorful and cooked to perfection. The staff was attentive and helpful. The restaurant is located inside of the Canopy Hotel in the lobby area. The hotel is decorated beautifully! It's a desert theme/tone with contemporary minimalist decor. I would return!

Interior decor was gorgeous. Southwest meets mid century modern design

Delicious. We had the coffee spice rubbed tenderloin and ny strip steak, both grilled to medium. The tenderloin was perfectly done with pink in the middle, melt in your mouth perfection, and a slightly Smokey/spicey exterior from the rub. The NY strip was sliced to serve, tender, well seasoned, and coated with an incredibly delicious herbed butter that added to the already yummy strip. The vegetables for both dishes were expertly cooked, and the au gratin served with the tenderloin had an amazing depth of flavor. We did have the calamari with was ok. Just a little salty but the accompanying sauce helped to balance the taste. For an added bonus, the restaurant and hotel decor were a treat for the eyes. Mid century modern meets south west class. Absolutely gorgeous.

What we didn't realize at the time was that we had stumbled upon one of those dishes that would stick with us! So when Liquor Pig closed, we were genuinely sad to see it go, but then delighted to learn that the same chef was spearheading Wayward and, most importantly, that the legendary bone marrow poutine made its way onto the new menu. And thankfully, it's still just as memorable! The bone marrow is incredibly luscious, rich, and decadent, and the whole dish is the perfect indulgent pairing for Wayward's creative cocktails. The portion is also a great size for two people to share, especially since it's definitely a rich dish. We also tried the Jaew Chicken which was tasty and definitely a little different from what I'd normally order. It was a nice addition to the meal, but honestly, the poutine is the reason we'll keep coming back to this place! While walking through the restaurant, I noticed quite a few tables enjoying the bone in short rib taco board and those portions are serious. That platter could easily feed four people, so it's definitely something to keep in mind if you're dining with a group. All in all, I'm happy that Wayward has kept one of my favorite dishes from the Liquor Pig days alive. If you're looking for creative cocktails with something rich and indulgent to snack on, do yourself a favor and order the bone marrow poutine!

Now I realize that the 2026 was a Summer Olympics and Curling is part of the Winter Olympics, but we didn't care Upon entry to go to the host stand and tell them what you're looking to do (activities vs bar/waiting). The space is relatively open and you can immediately see the fully stocked bar, the bowling area, the back axe throwing lanes, and the enclosed curling lanes. We opted for a package that got us unlimited games (any) for an hour. We started with curling and we didn't need any special clothes or shoes. We were lead to a lane and it's set up like shuffleboard (you can stand on either side and there's two separate color stones). There's ice where you glide your stones and you stand on rubber for traction. You can glide by hand or use a piece of equipment that is essentially a stick to help push and guide your stone. There's an attendant on duty to help any stones that are stuck or that don't make it down the lane The experience was awesome. We've always wanted to try curling, but it's difficult to find somewhere that is set up to let you do that. We were amazed that we finally tried it in a desert of all places. There are no brushes like in typical curling, but you still get a sense of the Olympic activity. The bowling was fun too, but it's a smaller version like you might see in some novelty bars. Axe throwing was that of typical ax throwing. You had a couple different sizes of axes, there's lanes and you throw at a wooden target. They had computers to input your name and keep track of points. It was sometimes difficult to stick the wooden target, but it was fun We didn't try the food or drink, but everything looked good. The staff were very helpful. It was a weekend, and it wasn't overly crowded which was nice. Overall it was a fun experience Some tips: If your stones seem to be getting stuck down the lane, ask the attendant to move you to another lane. That's what we did and it made all the difference Explore the rest of bustling Old Town Scottsdale. Let me start off by saying my first 2 visits were not the best. In fact, This place was sitting on a 3 star rating for a while, but my last visit picked up and made up a little. I waited to wrote this review in hopes that they would redeem themselves from my first 2 visits. The first time I came, I had Lemon Pepper Wings which came to me after a very long wait. When I finally got them, they were basically naked wings, like without any seasoning. I asked for the seasoning and one of the bussers came and brought me a cup of it. I sprinkled the wings with it but when I took a bite, they were SALTY AF!!!!! I then had to shake off all the seasoning to be able to finish them. SMH. I also ordered some Sweet Potato Fries which oddly came to me within about 3 minutes. I almost finished them before I finally got the wings. I was seated at the bar and since it was packed, I sat in the only open seat which happened to be between 2 gentlemen. The guy to my left was ready to go and when he asked for his bill, they had charged him for my stuff. Super weird because we clearly weren't together and I wasn't even talking to him the entire time. He kindly alerted them and they adjusted his bill. My second visit the next day wasn't any better. Went in with 2 coworkers for $1 oysters and Happy Hour. We ordered some cocktails which took forever again, and when we asked about them, we were told they didn't have the blended margaritas ready, so she offered us on the rocks instead. We said okay since we were thirsty on a Thursday. We tasted each other's drink and they tasted exactly the same, even though we ordered different ones. I also ordered a 2nd round of 6 oysters for myself which I never got. I had to let our server know that I never got them, so she took them off the bill. Our server wasn't very friendly and she just looked like she wanted to leave. My 3rd and latest visit is when I had the Tomahawk. My friend and I started off with oysters, then ordered their huge Tomahawk, which came with a variety of sauces and a side of French Fries. This time, we came in a little later, around 730 pm or so. It wasn't as busy, so maybe that's the perfect time to go. Service was great that last time, and our drinks were perfect. Overall, it's a cool place and the decor is pretty gnarly, but I feel like they do need to work out some kinks. Prices are average but Happy Hour is where it's at. The Tomahawk special is $99 on Mondays and Tuesdays I believe, and they come with 2 large sides (we went on a Thursday so we didn't get that special). The last visit brought up my 3 stars to a 4. I'll come again, but I hope they stay consistent!
