Super cute, cozy spot with delicious South American inspired dishes. Everything seemed thoughtfully prepared and well balanced, service was warm and inviting- we will definitely be back! Try the pisco sour, the canoa, the arepa, the empanadas, and the desserts. All the sauces! Not a dish we weren't impressed with and we thought it was affordably priced.

Friendly staff and excellent food. Presentation of food was really nice. It's a small place with only about 10 seats.

I never had Venezuelan food before and was excited to give it a try. The owners are hospitable and friendly. They clearly put a lot of love into the food and service. The food is tasty and service is quick. It definitely feels like you're having a family meal. Seating and parking are limited. Bonus: They offer a completely halal menu making this a fairly unique option for halal eaters.

Arepa! We tried both beef and vegan chorizo. The salad was also perfect!

Delicious! Fantastic atmosphere and service. Do yourself a favor and try this place. The sauce was very tasty (and is sold in to-go jars!) the arepas were delish and a we loved the welcoming atmosphere!

Very quaint small place. 3 tables inside, 2 outside on the sidewalk, but don't let that deter you. The food was fantastic and the service great too. As we waited for our food which came fairly quick we saw no less than 6 other customers come in and either pick up to go orders or delivery patrons picking up for their customers. If you're in "rat city" give it a try you won't be disappointed.

I haven't been impressed by a restaurant in Seattle in ages. This little gem is a winner in all ways. The vegan chorizo empanadas!

The ice cream from tip top is good. First you choose a fruit to add in, then a topping, and in a cup or cone. I got the seasonal flavor, which is avocado, with salted caramel topping. You can taste the creaminess of the avocado, but also small pieces, 4/5 stars. There is a good selection of alcohol, and single cans of beer and cider. Both the cashier and the owner are super nice. There are several tables and seats along the window for hanging out.

We arrived and was able to finding a parking spot as there is only a few spaces for parking. There are a few tables and chairs outside of the store. We entered and were greeted by the employees in a professional manner. There is quite a lot of seating and tables around, and even a long table with chairs that had crayons and coloring books to enjoy. I love that they seem to support local brands from food, drinks, alcohol, snacks, and much more. They seem to have specials every month for a sandwich and drink which I always love to see. They offer sandwiches, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, coffee, tea, alcohol, and ice cream! The prices are pretty fair from what we could see. Additionally, they seem to host events such as weekly food truck pop ups! They had dog treats at the counter and a dog water bowl outside their door so they seem to be dog friendly as well! We were able to get our ice cream: I got the blackberry with sweet cream base with rainbow sprinkles while my boyfriend got the blueberry ice cream with sweet cream base with chocolate sprinkles. The ice cream was so smooth and had the perfect amount of flavor where it doesn't taste artificial or too sweet. It was just perfect. Our friends who love close by rave about it too and shared that they enjoy the fresh foods too. Definitely excited to stop by again!

BoxBar has been on our list of vegan places to try for forever and a day. We made it out that way…read morethis weekend and our experience lived up to everything we've heard about them!! The pasta was amazingly tender, cooked to perfection. There was a lot of flavor and depth in each bite, more of a deliciously earthy mac and cheese as opposed to maybe a velveety smooth creamy type. The Jalapeño poppers were amazing. I've always associated poppers with a crusted fried topping but these were bold, going in a different direction. The jalapeños were fresh and soft to the bite, easy to cut with the side of a fork, loaded with components such as cashew cheddar, crema, avocado sauce, sweet pickled jalapeños, pico and cabbage slaw - all coming together perfectly in each bite (i'm utilizing their menu description) For the main dish, Sandi ordered the "Smokey Barbecue" which came with a complimentary side of chips and I ordered the Portobello French Dip and upgraded my side to a Side Salad for an extra $4. Each dish, every bite was delicious, even something as simple as a side salad was elevated with their Ginger Tahini dresing. Dipping the Portobello Sandwich into the Dip was just .. magical. We also both opted for the same drink, South Park Mule. The drink was legit, in addition to tasting great, I actually had a buzz as well .. indicating to me they didn't skimp on the adult juice Their food is amazing across the board and there's so much more to go back and try! Definitely worth the trip!!

My friend very much enjoyed the tofu bahn you. Although we all really enjoyed the nachos, they were not what I expected. I expected cashew cheese sauce that was cheesy tasting. It was very different from that but tasted great. The lentils and tomatos were very well seasoned. They are not spicy but are yummy. The kale salad was good but I have had a better vegan one in SF. The service was friendly but slow. On the plus side, there was zero pressure to rush. I look forward to going here again when I am next in town. I want to try the mac and cheese and one of their pretty cocktails.

I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I got the iced Cardi B (a latte with house-made…read morecardamom brown sugar syrup with espresso and almond milk) and my fiance an iced mocha. The first sip of the Cardi B, my eyes rolled back, and I nodded to how good it was. It's not too sweet (I ordered all of this online on their website for pick up and was not able to ask for it half sweet, but glad they didn't over-sweeten it). The cardamom flavor is prominent, so if you don't like that flavor, I'd choose something else. I also ordered some breakfast items. I got the Lil' Verda, which is a breakfast burrito on a flour tortilla with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, avocado, and salsa verde ( I also added sausage to it). It's pretty tasty! It's a big burrito for being on a medium flour tortilla. I got the fiancé a breakfast sandwich on a brioche bun (you can choose what bread you want; they even have gluten-free) that came with scrambled eggs, cheddar cheese, and I added bacon for him (adding a meat was only $2, which is reasonable). As I said, I pre-ordered everything on their online ordering system. My order was ready when I got there as promised. The staff member who helped me was super nice and pointed out where the hot sauce (Tapatio) and straws were. They do have separate windows for ordering and pickup. If you order online, just head to the pick-up window. It is a little spendy (breakfast sandwich w/ added meat $10.75, burrito w/ added sausage $12.75, and two espresso drinks at roughly $8 and some change), however, everything is going up in price (Gas is up to $5.09 +), so take that as you will. Overall, it's a cute little spot nestled in a neighborhood. There is street parking, but it's in an area that isn't too hard to find parking, as it is further away from the very busy spots of West Seattle. I'd come back, perhaps take the fiancée there so we can enjoy it fresh.

Also, the menu on the wall is not super helpful because there are no prices listed for the base breakfast sandwich or prices for additional fillings or toppings. So if you don't ask for prices or look online (there's a QR code on the menu, I apparently skipped over this when ordering), you might end up spending a good chunk of change for your breakfast sandwich. It's around $8.75 for the base (bread, eggs, cheese) + $2ish per filling/meat + $1-3 per topping + Sauces are $0.50 Reuben croissant: asked for this warmed and the outside of the croissant was flaky and delicious, meat was yum, sauerkraut added a nice texture and acidity, and there was a sauce in there was was tasty too! Really enjoyed this one Super burrito: comes with eggs, bacon, cheese, black beans, sour cream, avocado, and salsa. It was tough to find the bacon or taste it because it was cut in small pieces. The black beans were sweet and they overpowered the whole thing with sweetness. The arugula didn't add much and was kind of annoying because it was clumped in one bite and hard to chew through. The size was great, but that's about it unfortunately.
