    Empanada Beef

Unique yet familiar tasty meal. The arepas with pork is so tender, juicy and flavorful. The corn meal vessel is perfect for holding the tender meat and melted cheese. The empanada was flavorful, well seasoned and fried to crispy outer crust and soft interior. Love a great mom and pop business in Cap Hill.

Visited the food truck at the Fremont Sunday market. The meat filling was good but nothing special. The spicy cilantro sauce and curry sauce mixed made the dish have more depth of flavor. Honestly too much cheese that was unmelted for the amount of meat given. Service was so friendly and fast. Fremont sunday market is always a good time too

The food is really good, I loved how they came to you to serve the food and how nice the people are. The service is auto service so I was not able to interact too much with the people, but when they handled me the food, the guy was really nice.

Great spot I stumbled upon in Capitol Hill while I was visiting Seattle. I was desperate for a good lunch in an unfamiliar place and thought I'd give this spot a chance. I got the Beef Arepa and churros for dessert and both were very delicious. The service was super quick and the food was a good portion. It was quiet when I had gone, but there was also plenty of good seating. A hidden gem!

    TOSTON BOWL

We love trying out food trucks. We tried out this truck on Monday after the game. This turned out to be the WORST one we have EVER been to. We had the Toston bowl and when we got it, it didn't look ANYTHING like the picture. They say you eat first with your eyes and this looked like somebody had thrown up. The meat was slimy and not something you could cut or bite. It kind of went down like swallowing an oyster. It was just a pile of YUCK on a hard plantain disc. The only good part about the meal was the cilantro sauce we put on top. Unfortunately, it didn't help with the look or the taste. Stay away from this place.

Quick service and everyone was super nice. Got a pork arepa and it was delicious. Would go again

I found the front-of-house employee to be friendly and was really excited to hear that much of the item is GF. I ordered a vegan meat arepa and while it didn't blow me away, I definitely enjoyed it. However messy it was, the arepa was at least filled enough to make the price worth it. The cilantro sauce worked really well with it too. I wouldn't say this is a must-stop the next time I'm in Seattle, but if I'm in the area and not in need of anything fancy, I'd definitely be back.

I have allergies to gluten and dairy and the staff were so knowledgeable and helpful. The food was delicious and the service was great

Extremely expensive for portion size and product. I got an arepa "bowl" with black beans, cheese and avocado and it was tiny. Paid $17.

We ordered a vegan bowl each from their food truck that was parked outside Stoup Brewing in Ballard. The bowls were made in minutes and came with white rice, black beans, fried plantains, and an Impossible beef-based stew of some sort that was well-spiced. Nothing too crazy, just a solid enough bowl. Super friendly staff, reasonably priced.

After walking around quite a bit in Seattle, I was excited to find something different than the typical to what I was seeing. When I walked in, the staff was very friendly! I ordered the pork arepa and unfortunately wasn't a fan. There was little to no seasoning in the meat and it was very greasy, even the bread was greasy. Arepas traditionally have so much flavor. I gave it three stars because my friend got the vegan arepa and loved it! It's wonderful when typically meat heavy cuisines offer tasty vegan options!

    Yum!

OK, I know absolutely nothing about Venezuelan food which is why we ended up here, but this was a great introduction. This is a food truck which is amongst our favorite ways to try new cuisine. We knew about empanadas of course but had never tried the euphoric repas before but they were delicious. A nice light bread with marinated chicken was just great. The plantain chips were great too. As in all things, when you something give it a try and you'll be surprised :-)

SO GOOD!! Loved the arepas, including the vegan options for everything. Tried the sweet plantain and the cheese tequeños, both great. Everything was a bit heavy altogether since there was so much cheese, but a super filling meal. The combo is a pretty good deal with an arepa, side, and drink for $19. The fruit juice options are great, loved the guava juice! The spicy cilantro and curry sauces were standouts as well

Anyways, we stopped here for a quick bite, since it has a very unique Venezuelan arepas that you cannot find anywhere else in the city. We got the sifrina and the Seattle arepas, and the portions were ridiculously generous. The shredded beef and the cheese filled up the fluffy yet crispy arepa shell, which was a delight to eat. It also has a row of different sauces to try on the table we sat down, which made the whole experience more fun. Trying out chipotle sauce and comparing it to garlic habanero sauce was just added an additional layer of fun to eating it in the restaurant. The service was quick and helped us answer how they were prepared. You couldn't ask for more at a place like this. The vibes in the restaurant also definitely improved, since the last location. Much cleaner and more spacious. With the ample parking spots nearby too, it should be easy to access this location from now on. At any rate, amazing Venezuelan arepas place. I'd recommend if you were hankering for a good Latin American food place. Or if you needed some hangover curing greasy food!

I discovered Arepa several years back in Raleigh in NCSU campus and always felt that's the best Arepa I ever had. But then comes this place which absolutely set the bar even higher. Their Arepas are really good - given I just tried a black bean Arepa - no meat. I loved it. I also enjoyed their sauces and it is just fun to experiment with different sauces and enjoying the flavors. I won't be surprised if all their sauces were housemade. My friend got Chicken Empanadas and this was first time he was having Venezuelian food - he really liked it. We also tried Flan - it was okay. You probably don't want to try lot of desserts here. Ambience is pretty good here. Loved the dining area.

I haven't had a real Cubano but if it's like what we had at Cafe con Leche then I may need to book a flight. It was so good! We started with a small shot of espresso and moved on to a pair of tasty sandwiches. A Cubano for him and a marinated chicken sandwich for me. Our server was drifting between Spanish and English and greeted a number of the customers like old friends. Always an excellent sign.

I'll start with the beef, as it was the primary component of the dish. Despite it being flank steak, it was clearly simmered for a long time - and displayed none of the traditionally chewy or dry properties associated with the tougher cut. The sauce also helped - it was very well spiced, and had a slight tomato-like flavor. Mixing this with the yellow rice yielded something that was really satisfying to eat. The combination of sauce, beef, and rice was quite enjoyable, even with mixing the vegetables in for some extra crunch. The portion size of beef was crazy. When combined with the rice, the total amount of food here was solidly enough for two full meals. It is around 20 dollars for the dish, but I would classify that as a good value when you consider how much food you get. On the opposite side, I swapped the maduros out for fries. These...were not good. The fries tasted stale, hard, and not appealing at all. While the portion size was high, the appeal was not. The sauce that came with these was interesting at least. Overall, I think this is a very strong core dish at an impressive portion. Would recommend sticking with the plantains as a side though. 8.5/10
