This café has a very cute interior layout and design. Sadly, the drinks were very weak and watered down. We got the Matcha and one of their seasonal special maple iced coffees, and we also got a cappuccino. All were very weak. The line was very very long and the service was slow. To be fair, we did come in on a Saturday morning. I will try and come back one more to give it another chance!

A wonderful and much needed addition to downtown Mount Prospect. Coco & Maple is under their soft opening, to work out some kinks and give the staff time to be fully trained. On a Sunday morning the place was bustling. The interior is beautiful, with high ceilings and large windows. A similar vibe as Coco & Blu their first location, but more spacious. There is a variety of seating options, lounge chairs, couches, traditional table and chairs and counter seating to enjoy your drink or food item. The line to order moved quickly, and even though staff are still training, service was very good. I asked if it was possible to order a London Fog even though it was not on the menu and they graciously accommodated my request. Can't wait to go back !

CoCo & Maple opened two weeks ago as the second location of Arlington Height's CoCo & Bleu. I loved the modern yet nature inspired atmosphere of the space and branding. The inside had a large coffee counter, tables and chairs, and some lounge settings to enjoy at. It appears they will also have an outdoor patio to enjoy in the future. The menu is very straight forward with coffee, tea, and sandwich options. They will also be extending their hours to include evening cocktails and bites down the road. When I visited, the space was busy but staff was hustling to keep up with demand. The staff mentioned their most ordered latte was the Oatmeal Cookie Latte and that they could adjust the sweetness of any of their flavors upon request. I ordered the Pumpkin Spice Latte with Oatmilk which came to $8 which I felt was very fair. You can tell the coffee beans they use are high quality and I really enjoyed the balance of flavor. When dining in, they serve items in eclectic mugs and on regular plates to be more environmentally conscious. The only drawback to the visit was that parking can be a bit difficult. Either way, this spot is certainly worth visiting and enjoying!

Coco & Maple is a fabulous addition to downtown Mount Prospect. Conveniently situated near the Metra, this new cafe is adorable and charming! It is spacious, and a great spot to connect, relax, or get work done. I've visited a handful of times, and drinks are very good. I particularly love their salted caramel mocha. Would love a large display of their menu at some point as they settle in!

The chai latte and hot chocolate were delicious, but that is the only positive thing about my experience here. I am extremely upset and disappointed by how this situation was handled. Due to a complete lack of clear and visible parking signage, my car was towed while I was inside -- in freezing weather -- and I had my toddler with me. When I left after the shop had closed and realized my car was gone, I went back and only then noticed a small sign on the door stating that Coco & Maple parking was limited to spots 1-15. I never saw this sign when entering because someone kindly held the door open for me while I was juggling my toddler. There was no signage at the cashier, no signage in the bathroom, and no clear signage in the parking lot explaining which specific spots were reserved. The only sign in the back lot simply says: "Parking deck reserved. HQ residents and Coco & Maple patrons." That's it. It does not explain which spots are for residents versus customers. That ambiguity directly led to my car being towed. What should have been a quick, warm stop for drinks turned into a stressful, expensive, and unsafe situation involving a small child, all because of inadequate communication and poor signage. This was completely avoidable. Businesses have a responsibility to clearly inform customers -- especially when the consequence is towing. The cost and distress this caused could have easily been prevented. I sincerely hope management takes accountability, improves signage immediately, and addresses the financial burden placed on customers so no other parent or customer has to experience this.

Really nice addition to MP a lovely inviting space with wonderful coffee, tea and lattes to choose from . Being lactose intolerant dairy choices are big for me and plenty of Oatmilk in the case phew ! My latte was warm not quite hot enough but strong also. Unsure if my wallet wants to go back $20 for two lattes is a tad steep ! Also need more menus while waiting in line:)

This is a great addition to the area! The place is so cute, it makes working and studying easier to do with how cozy it is. I got a cold brew which was perfectly mild and not too acidic. I also tried the Fox Latte and the peanut butter flavor paired perfectly with the espresso. Will be going back to study!

Wonderful and super cute coffee shop! We loved all the natural light and how big the space was. The coffee was great and the strawberry Nutella toast was amazing!

    Hot chocolate

This is a new cute and coquette coffee shop with a cozy cottage vibe. I went out for lunch here and ordered the three cheese grilled cheese and a hot chocolate and it was very good. I will admit the food was a bit of a wait but they were very busy and are recently opened.

We reserved to be at the Chef's counter which was not ready at the time of our reservation, that was no problem for us - and the hosts offered us a different table if we wanted it, but we did want to eat at the counter so we wanted to wait. We looked at the menu and decided while we wait we would go grab a drink at the bar. There were no open chairs at the bar and people were standing around the area as well so my girlfriend walked over to the side of the bar to order drinks near the spot where servers will pick up drinks at the bar counter. My gf was not in the way or anything and the bartender points at her in disgust and says "you cannot stand there you need to move". Not one moment of this did he look friendly or happy to serve a customer. My gf stood there for another 5 minutes, neither of the 2 bartenders acknowledged her, or said they would be right with her, they even took an empty glass of a customer at the bar and asked them if they wanted another. Both my gf and I have held jobs involving customer service. I have worked in restaurants for many years of my life when I was a younger adult. We are reasonable and patient people. The Prospect claims to be classy and fine dining, which I will say, the ambiance is wonderful, but your customer service sucks. I'm a big believer in "you get what you pay for" and this does not match. I hope you treat other customers with more care in the future.

I ordered the flautas. They were exactly what you want flautas to be: present, edible, and not causing any problems. The vegetarian tacos with avocado, however, were the sleeper hit of the evening and probably deserved more attention than they got. But let's talk about Abby. Abby was funny, fast, attentive, and somehow managed to appear at our table exactly when we needed something. More importantly, she made margaritas that tasted like they had been blessed by a tequila wizard. I'm convinced she put extra love in mine. Either that or she saw I was from out of town and decided I needed professional assistance. At one point I started wondering whether Abby actually works for Lady Dahlia or if she just travels the country improving restaurant experiences one table at a time. The food was solid. The atmosphere was great. Abby was a five-star experience trapped inside a four-star review. If every restaurant had an Abby, Yelp would go out of business because nobody would have anything to complain about.

We made a reservation because I'd heard this place can get pretty busy. Although it didn't seem too crowded when we first arrived on a Saturday, it filled up quickly throughout our meal. I definitely recommend making a reservation, especially if you're planning to come for dinner. As soon as we walked in, I was struck by how beautiful the restaurant is. Since the building was once a church, they preserved the stained-glass windows and cathedral ceilings, which give the space so much character. We ended up sitting on the patio because it was a gorgeous day, but I definitely want to come back and dine inside so I can fully appreciate the interior. The patio was modern, spacious, and completely shaded, making it very comfortable. Since it's located right next to the little lake, we also enjoyed a nice breeze throughout our meal. Our waitress was friendly and attentive overall, but there was one moment that stood out. My friend's baby accidentally knocked over a full glass of iced coffee, spilling it all over my friend's lap and onto the floor. The waitress watched as my friend cleaned up the mess herself but didn't offer to help or replace the spilled drink. Aside from that, the service was good. My friends and I all ordered something different, and everyone enjoyed their meals. I had the salmon poke bowl ($19), which was fresh, flavorful, and incredibly refreshing. The ingredients tasted high quality, and all the flavors worked really well together. It was more filling than I was expecting! Price-wise, I expected the menu to be more expensive than it actually was. I'm sure dinner prices are higher, especially for steak and seafood, but the brunch menu was quite reasonable. Most breakfast and brunch dishes range from $12-$20, making it a great value for both the quality of the food and the beautiful atmosphere. Overall, we all enjoyed our experience and I'll for sure be back! I'd love to try other menu items and come for dinner, too!
