We were on a cruise and took a shuttle to Canes Garden Bay Beach…read more It was a warm tropical day and the staffs offered us 2 lounge chairs with umbrella for $25 which we took. After getting in the warm clear somewhat wavy water we got thirsty and decided to try their local beer, Carib lager and the Limi da' coconut cocktail which has a blend of lime juice, coconut rum and a hint of citrus. It was delicious and refreshing. Fyi- they only accept cash unless you buy $15+ worth of f&b. Overall it was a nice day at the beach with refreshing drinks. The local staffs were somewhat friendly and helpful when asked.

Myett's is a long-time tradition; love the wonderful location and view, gift shops, ambiance,…read moregracious long-term server, Ernestine and her husband, bartender, Prince. We came in for dinner and had the whole snapper. It was delicious. It does have a lot of bones to pick out, which our server warned us about, but worth it for me. Next time, though, might try the grouper, which is a fillet without the bones. Sides of Potatoes and veggies were great. We had it with a Caesar salad, which was fresh and delicious. And we brought home a Caesar salad with chicken back for our daughter, who loved it. It was a Thursday night, and Myett's had a really great steel drum band musician who also sang, and had a beautiful voice. kind of modern classic songs. . Very cool. Great location and view. Absolutely recommend.

The Rum Rib tacos were the talk of our group. Caribbean Jerk Chicken and Shrimp tacos were also great. We can had the Coco Colada for a drink. Go during Happy Hour to get buy 1 get 1 free. Also during happy hour the boat taxi was a bit cheaper. Water depth was about 5' deep and enjoyed floating most of the time because I was getting a little sea sick on the stools and lily pads. Our server Kara was very friendly and mad us love our entire experience. Food was the best we had in the island all week long. Must do experience, never done anything like it.

This place was so flippin' cool... but absolutely terrifying for a less-than-confident swimmer to…read morereach. We were taken out on the shuttle and told we'd need to swim the final 10 yards or so. As someone who didn't exactly grow up in the water, that was easier said than done. I even had a floatie for assistance, but it didn't inspire much confidence. It was the longest two minutes of my life. To make matters even more exciting, the water was pretty choppy that day. To be clear, this is completely a "me" problem and not a reflection of the establishment at all. I just hope that one day there's an easier option for land-loving odd ducks like myself to enjoy the experience without convincing ourselves we're about to become part of a maritime rescue operation. Once we made it, though, it was absolutely worth it. We ordered a couple of margaritas that were fresh, strong, and delicious. I had the Spiced Tuna Taco and my wife ordered the Shrimp Taco. We absolutely inhaled them. I would've happily ordered several more rounds if I hadn't been mentally preparing for the swim back to the shuttle. The vibe was fun, energetic, and laid-back. Being from St. Louis, it was a happy coincidence that they were playing Nelly and Chingy all afternoon, which made me feel oddly at home. All in all, this was a stellar experience, and I would absolutely go back. I may just want to log a few more hours of swimming practice first.
