I saw this place from a parking lot next door and thought I would try it out. I'm really glad I did. I tried a bit of everything. Had the sampler with salad and got both dressings. They are both a little different than what I expected, but I would recommend both. I think the poppy seed paired better, but the vinaigrette was great also. If you enjoy salad with some shrimp on top, this is a good choice. All that being said, I prefer the tacos. There is a great balance of shrimp to everything else. The flavors blend well, the texture of everything works well together, and it's just tasty. I didn't expect the little bit of sweet, but im really glad it had it. A really good experience overall. The staff at the register were polite and helpful and very pleasant to deal with. Maria was walking around checking on the seated customers. You could tell she wanted the dining experience to go well for everyone. Coco Shrimp is definitely going to be in the lunch rotation for me. Good place, good food, great people. read more

I stopped by on grand opening day during my lunch and was surprised how quick the service was. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. I ordered the sampler plate with coco shrimp, sweet and spicy, and spicy. The sweet and spicy was definitely my favorite! The shrimps were decent size and flavorful. The vinaigrette for the salad was soo delicious like super good!!! Probably the best I ever had! The rice by itself is flavorful! I actually think it taste better then the one we had in Hawâii! Unfortunately I have a gluten allergy and both times I went there I checked with them when I ordered and they still gave me food with gluten in it I brought it back both times they looked dumbfounded when I brought it to them when I specifically asked the girl do the drive-thru the same girl as last time about the gluten-free food. I'm assuming she doesn't know what gluten is so if you have a gluten allergy it's not a great idea to come here. I believe their employees need to be educated on gluten allergies if they're going to sell gluten-free food. Or claim to sell gluten-free food, I left my food with them and left, I tried to give another chance after the first time but I guess this is a no-go from now on read more

I started going to coco shrimp when they were a food truck in Fort Worth and everything still tastes so good!!! This new location has plenty of seating and the staff is incredibly attentive. So happy to have one in Dallas now. Would recommend to everyone! read more

The food here is very good, something you would expect to be served in Hawaii. The staff are friendly and eager to help, the restaurant is clean and appropriately decorated, and the meals are an excellent value.
