Solid Southeast Asian dessert spot in Alhambra. I tried the signature premium coconut shake from here and it was pretty good. The shake was soft, creamy, and not icy at all. I enjoyed the strong and creamy coconut flavor. This was refreshing on a hot day. However, I did think this was overpriced at $7 for the small size. Regardless, the shake was still good. The store interior is small with limited seats and tables. They do have an outdoor area with tables and seats though. The staff here were pretty nice. For parking, there's free covered parking structures in the area.
Background On Coconut & Co: Coconut & Co. specializes in handcrafted Southeast Asian-inspired coconut desserts and beverages made with premium 100% organic young Thai coconuts. The signature drinks are crafted with real young coconut water, coconut meat, and coconut milk, creating flavors that are light, refreshing, and not-too-sweet. Visitation Rights: Been to Coconut and Co once when it use to be located in San Gabriel. As for this location, I've also been her once also. Recently I purchased the SGV Food Passport. This shop was participating so I decided to get a refreshing shake. Restroom: There's no restrooms Credit Cards: They're available Location/Parking: Located on the NE corner of Garfield and Main St.. Parking can be found along Main St., the parking structure next to the Edwards Renaissance Theatre, or on Stoneman. Shop use to be located in San Gabriel, but decided to relocated to this place in Alhambra. Ambiance/Decor: Small little shop with couple of chairs to sit while waiting for your drinks to be ready. They also have some self ordering kiosks if you don't like talk to the staffers. Service: Service was good. Shawn and John (Staffers behind the register) was very friendly, attentive, and informational about the shop. Drink Of Choice: I decided on the durian shake. Thought it was very good and could definitely smell and taste the durian. Very refreshing on a hot day. Coconut & Co For Thought: Would love to come back and get the durian shake again.
We redeemed our SGV Passport offers today during a hot Sunday afternoon. The offer was for the Coconut Shake so we came in to give it a try. The location is adjacent to the Regal Theatres. The staff here is awesome! They welcome you immediately as you walk in and took care of us right away. The location is small inside with kiosks for ordering and some seat for waiting. The location also has designated seating for Coconut Co customers. We ended up redeeming the Coconut Shakes and ordering a Coconut Water with Basil Seeds. The staff also gave us complimentary Ube Ice Cream on this Sunday which was very kind of them. The Coconut Shakes was refreshing! It really helped during these hot summer days. The Coconut Water with Basil was a great selection as well. The Ube ice cream scoop was tasty treat to compliment our drinks. Thanks again to the staff here for their great hospitality! Coconut & Co offers refreshing coconut drinks to cool off in these HOT summer days! We redeemed two Coconut Shakes from the SGV passports. I also ordered Coconut Water with Basil Seeds. The Coconut Water with Basil Seeds was good! It had coconut meat sliced thinly sitting at the bottom. I enjoyed every sip! I would like to try their Calamansi Sugarcane with Coconut Meat next time. The shop is small with very limited seating. There is more available outside in the shade. When my husband and I arrived, there was only one person ahead of us and then more people showed up. That was a good sign! The staff were friendly and worked efficiently. They offered their customers a free scoop of ube ice cream for today. That was so kind of them! Overall, I recommend stopping by. This place is super tiny so you'll end up drinking your beverage outside but I personally think it adds to its appeal. The service was quick friendly and efficient. I was in and out in about 3 - 5 minutes! I got the Watermelon Sago Coconut Milk drink and it was absolutely phenomenal. The beverage felt light without being too bland or sweet ! It was perfect blend of flavors. You can taste the freshness of the coconut milk. There's also plenty of optional add ons or substitutions. I am definitely going to return to this place. It is a little on the pricier side (about $5 - $7 per drink) but I am more than happy to pay for it.
New business right by the Regal theater! No seating inside, but they have a few designated tables outside with umbrellas. I ordered the Signature Coconut Shake! There are optional toppings, sweetness level, and dairy/non dairy to customize your drink. I got the regular sweet and it was perfect for me! Slushy and so refreshing for a hot day. Tried the avacoconut drink and it was pretty good, but it lacked flavor tbh. A little bit more coconut flavor would go a long way, but also, I'm glad that it wasn't too sweet. It tasted organic. Service: Super welcoming and they were nice. Ambiance: Really small, not really a place to chill and study
Congratulations on the new Alhambra location! I can't say enough good things about them. My go to is the tornado, but I've had everything on the menu at this point. Best kaya toast in LA! Located right next to the theatre. Lots of parking.
I think I'm becoming addicted. So let's see if they're pretty good eh or ew. I got my fave pretty purple ube shake that has the perfect balance of vanillay, nutty, ubey and coconutty flaves. And yall know I don't like coffee but their Vietnamese banana coffee shake has just the right hints of banana and coffee to be MNM. Those shakes pair super well with their new cookies they get and I wanted to get some but they were all sold out. That's how ya know it's good man. But I did also get their strawberry shake to try for the first time and . Everything here is made with love, high quality ingredients, is super refreshing, and always perfectly balanced and sweet. And now they're even selling me and my friends' handmade crochets where 10% of the earnings will go to charity and another 10% will be matched by the store and also donated. Didn't know about this place until SGV Drink Passport! It's located between the Regal Theatre & Applebees in Alhambra. Very small the drink was made when i ordered was not expecting a small size drink....it was ok not very sweet reminded nd if a slushy. Sorry, but no desire to go back and buy & try other things.
This place has been on my list forever, but I wasn't willing to drive out to the original location. I wasn't excited to hear/see they opened a new one closer to me. I think it replaced a Rocky Mountain chocolate shop, so it's a bit small, but there are a few stools to sit on inside and chairs and tables outside. Everything on the menu was so tempting since the flavors are unique to me, but I settled on a calamansi sugarcane shake with tapioca noodles and mochi cubes. The servers were friendly and quick to make my drink. I initially thought adding the two toppings would be overkill, but I think they made it fun to drink my shake. I found my drink refreshing and thoroughly enjoyable, especially since it's so hot. I'm excited to come back and try something else.
One of my favorite spots in Alhambra!! The coconut flavor is so fresh and yummy, and super refreshing during the hot California summers. We got the coconut shake and ube coconut shake with coconut threads. It was delicious! I usually sip drinks and take hours to finish one, but this one was gone so quickly. 10/10 will be coming back!
We ordered the Mango Coconut Shake, the Taro Coconut Shake and the Calamansi Coconut Shake. They were all ok. I had trouble tasting coconut. The mango drink just tasted like a mango shake; I didn't taste any coconut at all. The Taro Coconut had more coconut flavor than the Mango drink. But what really bothered me was the smell of the place. Our party decided to sit at one of the handful of tables to chat and enjoy our drinks. We noticed a strong disinfectant smell. Customer service 10/10 Immediately greeted by probably one of the nicest person I've ever encountered at any business. Her energy was contagious. I'm so sad I don't remember her name. It's been a few months and I can't believe I totally forgot to write a review about this cute little coco shop. Shame on me. It was my first time there and she really took her time going over the entire menu with me and even gave me samples. She gave me recommendations and went over some customers favorites + her personal favs. After I ordered, she gave me even more samples to try out while I waited. What a sweetheart. I'm a huge fan of coconut water so I'll def be back to try more items on their menu. read more

Coconut and Co offers an amazing selection of coconut based drinks, fruity desserts and toasts. The premium coconut shake hits just like it hits in Thailand on a hot, humid day. The coconut drink is the definition of not-too-sweet-not-too-heavy dessert. The coconut flavor is so fresh and creamy with none of that artificial flavoring. You can order via the kiosk at the front and wait for your name to be called. The space inside is quite spacious with lots of large tables. The interior is brightly colored green and has fun decor all over the walls. Theres a large parking lot connected to this plaza so it's nice that you don't have to worry about parking. If you're looking for something refreshing other than your usual boba/coffee fix, come check out Coconut and Co. read more
I wish there was a dessert shop like Coconut & Co in my hometown. The suite was located on East Valley Blvd in San Gabriel's Gold World Plaza. The diagonal parking spaces out front were narrow which I disliked. The inside was spacious with several long tables where customers could hang around and surf the free internet access offered by the business. There were two self-serve kiosks to place your order online if the queue at the service counter was too long. The three menu screens mounted high on the right wall had three main categories of coconut... premium organic water, premium shakes, and desserts (Qing Bu Liang). There were also three specialty drinks and four kinds of kaya toast available. From the list of fourteen coconut shakes, I chose a large size Mango with original sugar and churpy (boba noodles) which cost an extra $0.75. I had never seen churpy as a topping before so paying the surcharge was worth satisfying my curiosity. When my order number was called, a young lady brought the drink to my table. You could see the boba noodles settled on the bottom of the cup. The drink was more like a slush, however it was still very refreshing. I am not sure what made the natural young coconuts "premium," yet I was satisfied with the fresh taste. The noodles were okay, but I preferred the orbs of traditional boba pearls. While I was enjoying my drink, a worker handed out a small cup with a warm sample of their red bean topping. It was part of the excellent service provided by the staff. I enjoyed an hour of a weekend afternoon at Coconut & Co and gave a 4.5 star rating for my visit. read more

I feel bad writing this but wanted to bring attention to the inconsistency I have experienced in the last 5 times. As I mentioned I love the pandan kaya toast. 4 out of 5 times (usually whenever the guys are working) I received bread and some spread. The spread is sometimes so thin, I can't even tell if it's green. I've also ordered extra coconut meat in my drinks and I receive the normal portion or sometimes less than. read more
Stopped by here recently and ordered a sundae and a drink. We got the Ube flavored ice cream with red bean, grass jelly and chirpy boba noodle. We also ordered a black rice coconut drink and it was good. The reason why I gave a 3 star is because the picture they had of their Sundae was completely different from what I ordered. Picture on Uber eats says it comes with a coconut shell and wafers. I get it that we ordered Togo so I was okay without the coconut shell however there was no wafers on it. We paid almost $9/$10 for it so we expected a little more than just a scoop of ice cream with some toppings. Pretty disappointed. Pictures for reference read more

Finished eating at Golden Soup upstairs and was looking for something sweet and refreshing. Glad we stumbled upon this cute shop. The service there was amazing from the get go. We got try lots of samples, they were so friendly, and recommended us on what was yummy. We pretty much ordered a big assortment of items but my favorite was the mango coconut. Tasted really close to a mango sago. I would say my only suggestion is that they should've included the sago in their mango drink. Yes, you can order it as a topping, but we had no idea it would be like mango sago. Their drinks were naturally sweet, tasted healthy, and guilt free. I also had their avocado coconut drink and that was pretty delicious too! I think a little bit more avocado would've taken it over the top. But definitely a solid place for a quick guilt free, refreshing drink or dessert! read more

I saw this place on Instagram so I had to check them out. Upon entering, I wasn't greeted :(. We went directly to the iPad to order and took some time to peruse the menu. I ended up getting the avocado coconut smoothie with regular sugar. It was good but my husband was on the fence about the drinks. I wish the staff acknowledged us and took some initiative to explain their drinks and what makes it so good and unique. He ended not getting one because he wasn't convinced he would like it. That's why I gave this place 4 stars. My sister in law got one of their coconut drinks and thought it was good but she said you have to really like coconut. Price cost $6.90 for a regular. read more
tl;dr? Coconut & Co is a new Asian woman-owned shop (the dynamic duo are Singaporean and Indonesian) with incredible customer service, chill ambiance, and incredible food and drinks! Long story? Sureee! Coconut & Co is new to the plaza, opened just 1 month ago, and serves a wide variety of all things coconut - including a new thing called churpy (boba noodles). If you want to try something unique - go for the Tornado (coconut milk, brown sugar, and churpy), or play it safe with premium coconut water with basil seeds. Must go! The pandan chiffon cake was aMAZzing!! It was so soft & moist. And, it not only smelled freaken fresh, ..it tasted freaken fresh!! Can't leave without their pandan Kaya w/butter. It was daymn delicious too. That melted butter...yum!!! Lol The chiffon cake & Kaya toast were made with the perfect amount of sweetness. I like it a lot. I don't know if I like the drinks or the snacks more. The staff recommended the avococonut. She said it was her fav. So I got it. When I first saw my avocado coconut, I was disappointed. Not sure why it was so white? Prob not enough avocado? I dunno, but it turned out pretty good ay. It got better and better after each sip. Need a coconut fix? Here's the perfect spot for it and with the sweetest employees! Service: 5/5 The employees (who I'm guessing are the owners) were so helpful and kind. Since this was my first trying this place, I had a few questions and they answered them patiently. They even gave me a sample of their dessert. Drink: 4/5 I got the Coconut Sugar Cane. There was nothing unique about this drink but overall it wasn't overly sweet and refreshing. I also enjoyed the coconut bits in the drink! New place (at least for me - 11/23) that specializes in desserts and drinks with... you guessed it. Coconut! And I love coconut. The space itself is fun and is located in a small strip mall. The folks here are super friendly and helpful. I kinda knew what I wanted but since it was my first time, the person at the counter let me try the sticky purple rice. Very tasty. I ended up ordering the signature coconut shake and I loved it. Not too sweet, but if you like sweeter stuff, they can increase the sweetness. They do these bowls that I saw on the menu that look tasty and probably (?) healthy. Would love to come back and try one of those. read more
My family came here after dinner at a family friend's for Christmas Eve. I thought to come here since my sister had mentioned she wanted to try this place. I called to ask if they were open, and they were open until 8. The girl at the front was great. She greeted us, and I asked about the boba noodle, and she offered a sample. I decided on the tornado, which was a coconut milk drink with brown sugar and boba noodle. Overall it was surprisingly pleasant, with the right amount of sweetness. My sister stole a few sips (she tends to do this when my drink is good, and she said it was good). I got it with half sugar and no ice. The brown sugar was just enough to taste the caramelized flavor and it reminded me a bit like a latté. My sister got the coconut water with some kind of seeds and my brother got the coconut water with orange. Overall it was worth trying, although I'm not sure if I would come back regularly since it's not my preferred style of beverage. read more

Delicious coconut water-based drinks! Came with a friend and got the buy one get one 50% off deal applied to our drinks. We ordered the Thai Tea Shake with Sago and Mango Shake with Boba Noodles. We inquired about sugar levels and were informed that the drinks are sweetened by the tea/fruit/coconut water. We enjoyed the sweetness level as-is but for those who want it more sweetened, that is also an option while ordering. I also got to try the pandan kaya toast with butter and it was good! Came on a Friday afternoon and it wasn't that busy, so we got our drinks in a timely manner. They were giving out free samples of purple rice with coconut, which will soon be added to their menu. Date: May 8, 2024 I've been eyeing this spot for a while since it opened up but since it opened up later in the morning (11:30am), I never got the chance to check it out because I was mainly in the 626 for early morning appts during this period of time. Ordered the mango coconut and the coconut water w/ cane sugar and both were just alright. I was kinda disappointed. It tasted so artificial and just didn't hit the spot like other coconut drink spots. I LOVE coconut and mangos but I didn't like my drink at all. . Probably won't be back anytime soon but glad I finally got to try it out! read more
First off, the cutest and sweetest lady Asian lady took our order and asked if it was our first time here (which it was). She provided us with samples before making our order. The customer service was a 10/10 (make sure to tip bc she is hardworking). Everything was freshly made! My bf and I got the mango coconut shake with sago. Super refreshing and the right amount of sweetness. I like how the coconut wasn't too overpowering. The mango tasted fresh nothing artificial which I stand by with mango drinks! We also got the Kaya pandan toast with butter. I've never had something like this before, but I was shocked about how delicious it was! Perfectly toasted toast with a nice pandan Kaya sauce that was cold. I'm a sucker for hot and cold food combos so this was a 10000/10. I also love butter with my toast and it added the right balance of richness and made it almost a little creamy. lol it was demolished right when we got into the car so good. Such a cute family owned dessert place! A different type of after dinner spot with non-caffeinated options. The owner was super nice and gave us some samples to try while waiting for our order. I got the Tornado (coconut milk with brown sugar) which was not too sweet and had a good amount of creaminess. Next time I would personally not get the jelly it comes with as it made me too full and was too much to chew. My friends got the Pandan Kaya Toast which was also super good! The crunchiness from the toast and sweetness from the pandan gave it a great balance. Would definitely come again if I wasn't craving boba after a dinner. read more

Omg walked in and received wonderful service. I think it was the owner but she greeted me at the door and quickly asked if it was my first time. She gave a brief introduction on the menu. I ended up getting the Coconut Sugarcane Shake and their Pork Rengdang boas. Soooo yummmy!!! I been wanting to try this place since seeing it on @Kristiehang IG This place did not disappoint, already thinking to take my daughter and husband to come try, I think they would love it too! read more
I came back to try their drinks and they forsure redeemed themselves. Customer service was excellent from Carmen and the team. They love feedback and are so genuine. They made me an off-the-menu drink which I believe should be on the menu soon. It was a pandan coconut smoothie. So good and tasty! read more

Refreshing and coconut waters are not too sweet! Parking is plentiful; we went close to their closing time so there were not many people were there and got our drinks super fast. I'd go back only for their coconut waters but probably not their fruitier drinks. read more

Saw this was a new spot and I was in the area so decided to stop by and check it out. Came on a Tuesday afternoon and it wasn't too busy.. only a few customers. I heard everything is coconut water/milk based and I love coconut. I decided to order the ube shake with regular sweetness and churpy (boba noodle, interesting concept). Then I was told the second cup is 50% off and I was suggested to order the coconut water drinks so I can save it for the next day. I decided to go with coconut water with basil seeds which also came with the coconut meat. Got regular size for both and total came out to be about $11. The wait took a while since there were a few customers that ordered before me.. I'd say about 15 mins or so. There are a few tables to sit and the place is decorated nicely with cute coconut pictures. Drinks had good flavor..I can taste the coconut flavor water. The churpy noodles were nice and soft, but not as chewy as some bobas. I will definitely come back again to try the Kaya toast and coconut dessert. read more

I came here the other day with my mom because we saw their promotion for sundaes for $5.95. The Mix Flavor Sundae came with 3 scoops; choosing between ube or coconut ice cream and 3 toppings. We ordered the sundae with 2 scoops of coconut and 1 scoop ube with toasted coconut flakes, grass jelly, and red bean. The ice cream of both flavors were very flavorful and creamy. The cashier was really nice and gave us their opinion of what to get as well. I appreciated their help and was surprised that it was not crowded when we came in the afternoon. There are plenty of chairs for large and small groups to hang out for dessert. The place is clean and parking is accessible. I would definitely come back for more if I ever crave for ube and coconut ice cream. read more
So we were looking for something sweet after lunch but wanted something out of our norm, so I punched in coconut one of my favorite fruits and Bam out popped Coconut and Co!!! So I grab the family and head out!!! At first arrival, the plaza is packed, so you know their business here has to be good. After finding a spot, we walk in the doors, and the staff are working, but take a second to great us and ask if we have any questions. Please feel free to ask!!! We scanned the menu and ordered it on the screen. Mango Coconut, Coconut Shake, Chocolate Coconut Shake All there had plenty of extras picked out, making the customization process super fun knowing that eventually I am going to enjoy it soon. All I can say is I have been back multiple times since this first visit, trying different menu items every time . My favorite is the original Coconut, but that's because I love Coconut, so of course I will be biased, but come check them out and choose your favorite for yourself... Friendly service, clean shop and delicious desserts. I've been back here so many times and have informed my friends and family about this shop. The desserts are not too sweet but you can request for more syrup. I've tried multiple items on the menu. My favorite is to pick my own 4 toppings for desserts. The ube and coconut ice cream is delicious. We really enjoyed the purple rice with coconut. The workers are extremely helpful and friendly. If you love coconut, this is the place for you since almost the entire menu is decided to coconut drinks. My family and I were given free samples of their coconut pudding, which was delicious. The female employee was very helpful in answering my questions. Please note that there are two kiosks for self-ordering. If you want to adjust the sweetness level for drinks that do not have that option on the kiosk, you can let the employees know. The employee did inform me that the original sweetness level isn't too sweet, but I still asked for light sweetness. I opted for the coconut water and sugarcane drink, and it was very refreshing! Super cute little place. Order at kiosk and you get a text message receipt and paper receipt. I ordered the coconut jelly, pandan kaya toast and the pork baos (comes with 3). I also got 2 drinks- watermelon coconut juice and the one that came with the promo. The watermelon juice was very good- nice and refreshing! The toast was very good- reminds me of toast that I would eat in Thailand. I liked it!! The baos were tasty. I could definitely taste the lemongrass in it. read more

The staffs are super helpful and friendly. Great premium coconut, superior quality. I have tried a lot of the menu and every one of them have not disappoint me. From their basic premium coconut water to the new calamansi, tornado, avocado, all is refreshing and great! Love love love this place. read more
I like coconuts, simple as that. Not the heavy, artificial coconut flavored stuff. I like the natural, young, fresh coconuts and so when I heard of this place I knew I needed to check it out. Their website is a bit lacking in details and I would recommend some descriptions of the ingredients in each drink. In person they're very friendly and will answer all your questions but a few notes on the online order forms would be greatly appreciated. Anyway, I saw a drink that had both coconut and sugarcane and it was also called a "shake" so that was an instant sell for me. It was flat out delicious! So refreshing and not at all heavy. I thought since it was a "shake" It might be but it tasted like a blend of sugar cane juice, coconut water, young coconut meat, and ice. I absolutely love it and I know I will be craving this freaking drink all summer! So save a seat for me Coconut & Co because I will be back soon. read more

We were craving something sweet after dinner, and tbh Coconut & Co was perfect being "not too sweet" at all. They do not add any sugar to their drinks, only using the natural flavor of the coconut water. The owners were super sweet giving the 4 of us samples of the coconut water and purple sticky rice as soon as we walked in. My friend ordered the mango coconut shake. It was a little confusing because the picture has fresh mangoes on top, however the shake itself everything is already mixed. Our other friend ordered the watermelon coconut water and hubby ordered the coconut water with lime. Both has coconut meat and both added coconut jelly as toppings. I got the kaya pandan toast and I think it was better than the ones I had in Singapore and Malaysia. If you want something refreshing with no added sugar, this is the place to go. read more
Disclosure - I've never visited the store by my brother has bought me drinks from here twice and they were absolutely delicious. It is honestly one of the best coconut based drinks I have had AND the best kaya toast I've ever had. Enough said. I definitely need to stop by one day. read more
