What do you do after watching 9+ HOURS of bowling? You…read moreEAT... like it's your full-time job. With a crew of 22 (yes... TWENTY TWO hungry humans), we needed a spot that could handle our chaos fast. So what did we do? We followed our noses straight into the hidden gem...the food court inside H Mart. If you don't know, H Mart is basically a Korean food paradise disguised as a grocery store. And let me tell you... we went ALL IN. We ordered: * Beef rib tofu soondubu (bubbling, spicy, soul-healing goodness) * Jjajangmyeon (aka black bean noodles that hit DEEP) * Korean corn dogs (kids were living their best life) * And of course... the famous Korean fried BBQ chicken (because hello, Crash Landing on You made it look irresistible) Our taste buds were dancing, doing backflips, and throwing a full on party... BUT...plot twist. The BBQ chicken? The one I was MOST excited about? Total letdown. Where was the crunch? The flavor? The magic K-drama moment?! It just... didn't deliver. We didn't even finish it. Everything else though? SO GOOD. Like "we'll be back" good. So next bowling tournament in Dublin... you already know where we're going. H Mart round two..because one miss isn't stopping this foodie mission. Stay tuned... redemption arc pending.

As for food? Plentiful Korean and Japanese ramen, delicious Korean corn dogs, and the supermarket's interior was clean as a grand opening could be. I've been waiting for an Hmart to open in my area for the longest time. I had to either drive to the one in Daly City or the one in San Jose to get my Korean ramen and other necessities for my Korean ramen--dumplings, furikake, and even gio lua (a Vietnamese pork sausage) that they even sell! Now I can come by with ease, and leave with some Korean corn dogs!

And due to it being primarily an adjunct to the Grocery store , the inside seating is cramped.

Super convenient spot to get groceries and food!…read more Tip: I recommend getting groceries first, since if you spend over a certain amount you can get a same-day voucher for the restaurant My friend and I stopped by as we needed to pick up some Indian groceries and also wanted food. I found Sri Venkateswara and it seemed convenient to make one stop instead of two. We stopped by on Labor Day around 6:30 pm and it was pretty packed inside. For the restaurant, there's both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted to sit outdoors as it was a nice day out. The restaurant focuses on South Indian dishes such as dosas, uttapam, idli, etc., though they offer Indo Chinese and chaat as well. We ordered one pav bhaji ($8.99) and one masala dosa ($9.49) to share. The dosa came out very quickly, but the pav bhaji took forever. Maybe because most people don't get it here. The dosa was super solid, and I was absolutely obsessed with the peanut chutney that it came with. I've never had peanut chutney served with dosa at any other South India place before, but it really elevated the taste of the dosa imo. Sambar was good but a bit spicy for me personally. The pav bhaji was disappointing, which in hindsight isn't surprising given that this is a South Indian place. Would not get it again here. Note: they also offer a dosa happy hour on weekdays 2-5 where you can get most dosas for only $6.99. Seems like such a steal if you live nearby!

For crispy skin roasted pig , San Rita road location is the best . I bought my $14.99 combo box today . It is a large rectangular box and you can fill in with items of your choice . It is $14.99 . If you buy just one meat item and a medium size paper box is already $12 The self served deli section has fried rice , stir fry egg noodle and hor fun ( rice fiat noodle ) . Many different types of cooked vegetables ( Napa , broccoli, zucchini, egg plants , etc ) and meats ( chicken , beef , fish , shrimp , beef brisket ) tofu , etc . They all taste great and you can stack up a lot more of you put the smaller pieces in the bottom . I bring my own extra containers. After I paid the cashier I put all the salt & pepper fish filet into my own container to keep it dry and fluffy. The batter they use are very tasty and light. It has so much room I have enough food to last me two meals . For the $14.99 combo you must put in some rice and vegetables. Cannot be all meats . That is not hard to arrange . I have includes photos and the prices list for the deli section . They get the first batch of food around 11:00 and then refill once around 2 pm . During the holidays , you can order grilled turkey marinaded in BBQ flavor . It is delicious and we order it often .

And they've gotten a lot more pricey. Like some of the buns, fresh or frozen has gone up $2-3. Same with their fresh meat, poultry, and seafood. Selection is not as great and their prices have gone up. The store isn't as organized like before. Also, the smell of dried fish always hits you as soon as you walk in. And still there's the lack of customer service. I'll probably be back only if I'm in need of a particular item, but that's about it.
