I've always loved going to H Mart, and this location is no different. While it is smaller than the…read moreone we've been to in SJ, this location still has plenty to offer, including a whole food court with a variety of restaurants to boot. There is even a section with pre-marinaded raw meat that you can cook at home for KBBQ! This H Mart is located in the same parking lot as Half Price Books and Marshalls, which are two of my favorite stores, so it's perfect every time I'm in the area to stop by all three places. As such, there is generally plenty of parking, but it can get congested if you insist on parking close to H Mart. I prefer to park farther where there is shade and walk over. Another highlight for my H Mart runs is that there is a Tous Les Jours inside the store, so I can also get my pastry and coffee fix. They are currently doing a pistachio series for summer, and that pistachio cloud latte was delicious. You cannot stop by H Mart and not pick up some of their pre-made meals. They make everything from street food staples such as tteokbokki and fried seaweed rolls to gimbap, dosirak, and fried rice bowls. Trust me, it's all so delicious and such an easy dinner to heat up. Since this H Mart is decently new, the influx of visitors is quite high, and my only gripe from my last visit there was that the women's restrooms ran out of toilet paper. It's the small details that can make or break an establishment, and hopefully the staff will become more vigilant to basic necessities and work out the kinks as time goes on. Either way, I'm just happy there is a new H Mart location in the Tri-Valley and will definitely be back (while we wait for the Sacramento location to open at some point).

I'm so happy to have a larger Korean market that also carries many Japanese and Chinese and other…read moreAsian products too. The customer service is very helpful and if you cannot bring up your H Mart rewards card in time, then just take your receipt to the custy service and they will update it. (It's not connected to your phone number so you cannot just enter your number at the checkout :( and my app kept sending the security number to my spam). The store is huge and aisles are not wide so on really crowded days it can feel claustrophobic. All I can say is do not take the shopping cart outside the food cart area and push it down the ramp. CART WILL LOCK at the end of the ramp. Myself, kids, and $100 of groceries have warned you.

I usually go to the Daly City location since I live nearby, but this one felt noticeably cleaner and more organized. Everything was easier to find and the store overall just felt better maintained. Quick stop, but solid experience. Would definitely come back to this location if I am in the area again. Cashiers were great and fast!

For crispy skin roasted pig , San Rita road location is the best . I bought my $14.99 combo box today . It is a large rectangular box and you can fill in with items of your choice . It is $14.99 . If you buy just one meat item and a medium size paper box is already $12 The self served deli section has fried rice , stir fry egg noodle and hor fun ( rice fiat noodle ) . Many different types of cooked vegetables ( Napa , broccoli, zucchini, egg plants , etc ) and meats ( chicken , beef , fish , shrimp , beef brisket ) tofu , etc . They all taste great and you can stack up a lot more of you put the smaller pieces in the bottom . I bring my own extra containers. After I paid the cashier I put all the salt & pepper fish filet into my own container to keep it dry and fluffy. The batter they use are very tasty and light. It has so much room I have enough food to last me two meals . For the $14.99 combo you must put in some rice and vegetables. Cannot be all meats . That is not hard to arrange . I have includes photos and the prices list for the deli section . They get the first batch of food around 11:00 and then refill once around 2 pm . During the holidays , you can order grilled turkey marinaded in BBQ flavor . It is delicious and we order it often .

And they've gotten a lot more pricey. Like some of the buns, fresh or frozen has gone up $2-3. Same with their fresh meat, poultry, and seafood. Selection is not as great and their prices have gone up. The store isn't as organized like before. Also, the smell of dried fish always hits you as soon as you walk in. And still there's the lack of customer service. I'll probably be back only if I'm in need of a particular item, but that's about it.
