Just ok. I will say it smelled so clean when you walk in, you know they keep up with that end of the business. It's nothing fancy on the inside, but has a Cuban vibe. The menus are so outdated (and lots of typos) that we asked what the lunch specials were and we were told they haven't had those for a long time. Our food took a bit, but I'm ok with that so that I know it's freshly made, but it was disappointing. I'm no expert on Cuban food, but the roll seemed like a regular roll kind of pressed and just wasn't as good as another placed we loved. I couldn't finish and took it home to eat and the roll puffed back up. The fries were fantastic!

I stopped in this small Cuban restaurant on a Sunday evening around 7:30pm and didn't get my meal until almost 8:30pm. Although the service was very slow, the food was decent. The staff was pleasant and they worked very hard. Aside from the wait time, I enjoyed my meal and that's the most important part of eating out. I think this place is worth visiting.

So delicious ! We stopped in for lunch on Saturday and order some Cuban sandwiches. The restaurant is kind of hidden on Buford road in Cumming. I had a Cuban sandwhich with fries and I loved it. The Cuban was crunchy but yet so easy to eat. The food took longer than usual because it is cooked to order but I have no complaints considering it tasted phenomenal.

I was more than disappointed when I saw the Cuban dishes that I ordered for tonight's dinner. Understandable the economy is not the best these days... Nevertheless I felt robbed and taking advantage of,18.00 dollars per dish!!! The dishes included a small cup of rice, few small fried plantains and 2 tostones. I am tired of restaurants taking advantage and overcharging for meals that are not worth the value. I will never order from this restaurant again and I'll definitely not recommend this place to anyone. You are better off getting fast food!

Awesome Cuban food... Cuban sandwiches, Fried Yucca, Cuban black beans and Ham Croquettes!

Empanadas are amazing and the entrees are fantastic as well. Only gripe with them is they are not open on Mondays...

Today was an exception. Somehow, no one really knows what happened, two drinks were spilled on my dad from the waitresses tray. He was soaked and had to leave immediately to change. My dad said he doesn't think he bumped the tray. All we know is she was putting something down and the tray tipped. We understand hings like this happen. It was lucky it didn't spill on my 4 year old who was sitting right next to him. I know she was mortified and she made sure to mention multiple times that she has never done this before. She was also very apologetic. It was a lot of liquid and glass was all over the floor. We were never moved even after I suggested we move. She just mopped and swept while we were still sitting there. Honestly, we should have just left. It was such an awkward experience from then on. Someone (maybe the manager?) stopped by to say sorry and gave my dad a couple of napkins, but between all the chaos of the incident it definitely wasn't memorable. At the end she asked about birthday dessert for my 4 year old and so I assumed it was complimentary considering what had just happened. It wasn't. We don't like to make a scene and we didn't want to totally ruin lunch for our kid's sake. We kindly paid our $90 bill and we didn't even stay to get an entree. This isn't a cheap restaurant and we expected more from a situation as this. Again, I understand that stuff like this happens, but I feel like the situation was not handled well. Had we made a scene, I'm sure it would have been handled different, but that's just not who we are. It will probably be a while before we return there.

The location, awesome reviews, and photos made it a no-brainer. My lunch companion and I decided to share the queso fundito and shrimp empanadas and both were great. The queso fundito came with roasted corn and a garlic toast while the shrimp empanadas were plated on top of a bed of salad. The empanadas were a nice size and I would totally order these just for myself for lunch. I added a shrimp tempura taco to round out my meal. It was juicy, a bit spicy because of the jalapeno mayo, and overall a nice way to end my meal. I'll wrap this up by congratulating them on landing a spot on Yelp's Best New Restaurants list for 2025. Only 100 businesses in the ENTIRE country get on the list - so this is huge. Based on my experience, well deserved. Definitely give them a visit soon!

I arrived around 3:00 p.m. and waited more than five minutes to be seated. Since no employee was on the floor, I eventually grabbed a menu and seated myself. It appeared that one employee was handling everything, and to her credit, she apologized for the delay. I ordered a dozen oysters, and many were badly mangled during shucking. Unfortunately, they had very little flavor and were among the most disappointing oysters I've had. Based on the taste and quality, I told the server they definitely were not the White Stone Oysters I was expecting. They were actually Bay Blue Oysters from White Stone Oysters and NOT their flagship oyster, "White Stones," https://www.whitestoneoysters.com On a positive note, the calamari was excellent and was easily the highlight of my meal. It has a great outdoor patio, indoor dining, and a full bar with libations to satisfy every palette. Everything is super clean, from the tables and booths to the floors, and they also offer some fun retail items if you want to take something home. I ordered the Greggah lobster roll warm with their mustard sauce. It came on a top-loaded, buttery toasted bun filled with warm, fresh lobster. Absolute perfection. I also had the crab balls, calamari, and a house salad. The crab balls had a nice spice without going overboard and were served with a flavorful house-made sauce. The calamari was cooked well done, just how I like it--crispy, tender, and not rubbery at all. The sweet and hot sauce they serve it with is divine. The Louie sauce is my personal favorite. They make almost everything from scratch in-house, including the sauces and their slaw. The slaw is cool, creamy, tangy, and sweet--exactly like the kind I grew up eating. The house salad was generously portioned and full of crisp, fresh ingredients, all clearly prepped in-house. I came back the next day for lunch and caught the house-made clam strips special. I got the clam strip basket with sautéed vegetables--same side I had the night before because they were that good. The vegetables are crisp and vibrant, not mushy or overcooked like you sometimes get elsewhere. I also had a cup of clam chowder that was thick, creamy, and packed with flavor. You can taste the coast in every bite. The chain was founded in Carolina Beach, North Carolina, and it still carries that same coastal character. The staff here--bartenders and servers alike--are extremely friendly and helpful, which just adds to the overall experience.

The staff was kind and attentive, and the space itself was decent -- clean and casual. I came in looking for fish tacos and ordered the grouper tacos (fried corn tortillas) with a side of refried beans and guacamole. The tacos were the highlight -- the fish had really nice flavor and texture. At first glance, it looked almost like fried fish sticks, but it tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The tacos were stuffed with cabbage and a generous amount of pico de gallo (a little too much for my taste), but everything came together nicely once I added the chipotle-style sauce. The sauce reminded me of Subway's chipotle mayo -- creamy, smoky, and actually really good. The guac was smooth, flavorful, and clearly fresh. Unfortunately, the refried beans didn't hold up -- they were runny, watery, and totally bland, like brown soup with no flavor. Also, I was surprised they only offered white rice instead of the traditional Mexican rice, which felt like a miss for this type of restaurant. Overall, I'd give the tacos an 8.5/10 -- tasty, filling, and worth coming back for. The guac was solid too. I'd just skip the beans next time.

On the positive side, the half-order of fish and chips was quite good--just make sure you specifically ask for the authentic, thick-cut British chips, as they really make the dish. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience was disappointing. The chicken wings, in particular, were a letdown. They lacked any crunch, and the skin was soggy and slid right off. For the price, I expect a much better-prepared wing--a proper fry to get them crispy before tossing in the sauce would make a world of difference. The pricing overall feels quite high, especially considering the counter-service model. It's frustrating to pay premium prices for a meal where you have to order at the counter. On top of that, the nickel-and-diming for extra ranch is annoying, especially when the quality of the ranch itself was inconsistent in both thickness and taste. To top it off, the service was lackluster; the bartender didn't seem very welcoming and gave the impression that they were doing the bare minimum. It's hard to justify these prices when the quality of the food and the level of service simply aren't there. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. They also got rid of the British shop. So blah!!
