I've been studying for major exams at Coffea, and it's the perfect spot to focus, quiet down, and lock in. The environment is calm, with others studying or working, and the staff is always welcoming. I fell in love with their cold brew with sweet top, it's the perfect balance of bold and just a hint of sweetness. Super cute spot! Truly a hidden gem. We found Coffea on Yelp and stopped by on a Sunday morning. It wasn't too busy, but as we sat and hung out for a bit, more and more people came in. There were lots of families here! This is definitely a spot a lot of locals walk to, since it's in the middle of a neighborhood basically. They have a parking lot and it had plenty of spots when we went. I got a matcha latte and my husband got a cold brew. They have ceremonial grade matcha which I love. My husband's cold brew was very mild, but had good flavor. He enjoyed it! We also grabbed a blueberry muffin and oh boy was it good. I would come back for that muffin alone! I like that they have a covered outdoor patio and plenty of seating inside. The shop is bright and clean. It's got a welcoming vibe and a nice modern touch. Service was great. I got a hot chai latte with oat milk. I was so excited to discover that Coffea makes their own chai concentrate in house. So few places do. The shop itself is very clean and inviting, however their salted caramel latte is quite salty... they use typical name brand syrups to sweeten their coffee but what I did not realize is they add salt to the coffee itself, in this case all of it settled at the bottom of my cup, my last sip felt like I was eating a spoonful of the ocean hahaha. In order to stand out, you either have to pay a lot to have influences hype up your spot, or you just have to get really lucky, and customers just naturally find your cafe on their own. For me, finding Coffea felt like finding a hidden gem. I found Coffea just randomly scrolling around Google Maps. The coffee shop is in a strip mall with lots of parking and seating, so there was no issue with parking nor lines. I ordered an oat milk cappuccino and it was well made. There was a nice creamy foam on top, the espresso was strong, and there was a slight sweetness to the drink. In addition to my cappuccino, I also got a ham and cheese croissant, which they were able to warm up for me. Though I'm certain the pastries here are not made in house, they definitely source pastries from a reputable location because the croissant was delicious -- so flakey! Rating this place pretty highly right off the bat. First time trying this coffee shop, I ordered an almond matcha. The menu is small, but seems well rounded. The drink came out quickly at 9am during a little rush and it was incredible. The matcha was smooth and creamy and sweet. You can also alter the sweetness. I was excited to see this place opening up a few years ago since it's walking distance to me. I've been a few times since and I always find the coffee to be lacking. I wish it was stronger, creamier, and just smoother. I order lattes but it tastes more like an regular iced coffee. The place itself is nice and clean with a minimal modern look to it. There is seating inside and a few spots outside too, but I wouldn't say good for larger groups. There is a parking lot that's usually has easy parking. In nicer weather, most people I see are just taking strolls and make a stop here. The people taking orders are nice and approachable. I've been there in early mornings and they can get busy and it's usually one person taking orders and making the drinks. So keep that in mind if you're in a rush, they may take a while. And that's how I found Coffea. enjoyed the shop's cute modern farmhouse design with it's white wide paneling along the walls, alpha brass metal dining chairs, white and gray marbled tabletops, and the industrial style sputnik chandelier and two-end pendant wall lights. I appreciated the bright interior and the inviting energy of the shop. It certainly felt like a great environment to work out of. I ordered their most popular drink, the cinnamon vanilla latte. While the latte didn't leave any lasting impression, it certainly wasn't bad. It just wasn't anything special in comparison to the many coffeeshops I've frequented. I ordered an iced matcha latte and asked for it to be extra sweetened. The drink wasn't sweet enough for me so I went back to ask for a bit more simple syrup and the barista was super nice and accommodating. My cousin got an iced vanilla latte which was better than the matcha latte so highly recommend that one instead. Such a cute place to grab a delicious rose matcha latte! I went on a Saturday morning and ordered the Rose Matcha Latte with light ice and the Cheese Danish. I really appreciated that the barista/cashier asked me if the amount of ice that she put in the cup was OK with me. I always love and appreciate that so much. There were a bunch of people coming in and going. Ambiance was delightful and the customers who come in are respectable. I came in to read a script and enjoy my morning in Burbank before I had to go to my next appointment. There is a small parking lot, but they share it with the store next door. Hot coffee? More like a lukewarm cup of it. Isn't the first prerequisite of a hot coffee that it's...hot? Actually pretty smooth and, in theory, maybe even tasty. But just weird for it to be this temperature. Almost just a slight bit warmer than a cup of water sitting on the counter. If a 3 is average, this can't be a 3.
