Triple berry strudel & spiced chai latte
    CeCe M.

I love this place! We were visiting Newport and needed a nice place to warm up since it was a rainy fall day. The strudel was so good - felt like a hug. The spiced chais were nice and warm and had the perfect amount of sweetness. The owner runs the business, and she is a delight! The moment you order, you feel like a regular. Highly recommend!

Nice but tiny location on the dock. Sizes on the smallish end. Lots of pastries, enjoyed it more than the coffee. One worker so be patient.

We were charged $26 for two coffees and a bottle of water. The owner should be investigated for overcharging customers.

Coffee is not very good, ice coffee is all ice, prices are outrageous for a very small amount of coffee.

She is taking advantage so bad of tourists! 2 bottles of Poland spring waters for $12! She should be ashamed!

Some of the best coffee I've ever had. Service was excellent. The place itself was nice. Will be back!

The owner could not be ruder. Yelled at me for grabbing 2 napkins. Coffee is also not good.

Mozz - Charcuterie spread from Mozz's apertivo hour

Mozz is one of my favorite hidden spots to grab a quick breakfast or lunch when running errands…read morearound Bellevue Avenue and environs. You'd never know it was once a Newport Creamery (super casual diner-style eatery), because the owners have done an excellent job of renovating the space into an Italian-inspired fresh cafe. Of course, the house Mozzarella is a standout, and they do provide samples upon request. They also have an impressive array of imported cheese and meats, perfect for crafting a memorable charcuterie board. I love their Espresso brewed fresh to order with pistachio milk (!! Where else have you ever seen pistachio milk?!), and the Frittata with potato and onion is my favorite for a light brunch moment. Make sure you ask them to heat it up for you! Ample seating inside and outside at adorable cafe tables round out the Italian street cafe vibe, and Mozz is not to be missed for your Newport adventure!

One weekend afternoon in April 2026 I decided to pastry taste five spots in Newport Rhode Island…read more Mooz came in 4 of 5. It's a solid Italian spot with lots of food and sweet choices. I got a canolli and sfogliatella.. It's the only spot I found in town with Italian treats you can pickup and go. The canolli was really tasty but it was very small and very expensive. The sfogliatella matched the taste and quality of those I had in Napoli, Italy. It was expensive though. The spot has a pleasant sitting area that's functional but not necessarily cute to sit in and relax. Not much to look at inside. Overall a spot to get your Italian fix if you feel like paying the prices. It does have a great selection of cheeses, meats, and Italian goods which admittedly I didn't try. It's a slightly expensive spot even for Newport which is already an expensive town to eat in.
