Anyway, this CL is in a centralized location which makes it easy to meet up with your folks regardless of what part of town you drive from. I had lunch with one of my girlfriends yesterday. Outdoor seating is alive and well -- it was packed! My girl ordered their Pastrami Sandwich and I ordered the Vegetarian Burger. We agreed that lunch was good. They have a pretty nice variety of lunch choices including Vietnamese sandwiches, burgers, soups, and full blown rice plates with the works. They have been in Business for more than two decades! It is definitely a great place for friends and family gatherings. They have plenty of indoor/outdoor seatings. It is a good place to relax, hangout, and enjoy some coffee or tea with some good food as well! They offer lots of drinks, Smoothies, Snacks options, and some Vietnamese Specialty dishes. Their pork and egg sandwich is also really good and the steak sandwich is legit. Super satisfying. When I feel like splurging on a smoothie, mango passion is the best. Steak salad and/or bun Bo xao is also pretty good. I usually just roll up through the drive thru--convenient but don't expect McDs fast or anything. This place has seriously so much seating and pretty solid wifi. I always passed by this place while driving on Capitol but never thought of it as a study spot, so I was surprised when I came here to get work done with a friend to see that there were several others with laptops as well. I got the coffee cookie shake and my friend got the hot fudge oreo milkshake. The cookie flavour tasted like the Biscoff cookies. Both drinks were very, very sweet. They definitely did not skimp on the hot fudge for my friend--the whole drink was absolutely coated in hot fudge to the point where it almost tasted medicinal. I don't have the biggest sweet tooth so the sugar was very much overboard for me, but I can imagine others feeling differently. At $6.50 each they were pretty pricey for what we got, but as we were mostly there for the seating I would probably consider coming back here. When I ordered the Vietnamese vegetarian sandwich, it didn't come with the traditional tofu only sliced cucumbers and carrots. It was still tasty just lacking the ingredients. Good for groups for about 4-5 people. Ambiance: It's in the corner of two pretty busy streets. There's also other eateries somewhat close by but what's cool about this spot is it's spacious feel. I liked how ou can simply go outside and people/car watch or go inside and catch up on the news. Probably not the most romantic place but a good space to catch up with a friend or two or even be productive. Vietnamese Coffee: A reasonable portion with a good balance of coffee and ice. It may be a little strong so sometimes its best to let the ice water it down. Customer Service: Solid. I was greeted kindly and received my order in a timely manner. TL;DR Overall: 4 Stars. Good selections, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The vibes are simple, nothing more and nothing less needed from a simple hangout spot. So this was my first time at coffee lovers and I can definitely say that it was it was not only my first Vietnamese coffee but it was also my favorite. They have a really nice drive-through that you could go to which is really convenient during this pandemic but they also have outdoor eating areas that you could sit and have a nice meal in. I ended up getting the Vietnamese iced coffee with sea salt on top and if you like salty salty stuff then definitely get the sea salt at first I tried it without the coffee and it was way too salty but once I mixed it in it was just right i also got my coffee extremely sweet because that's the way I like it. The workers are very nice when I asked to get seesaw halfway and after I saw it at the drive-through sign. Overall five out of five I'm definitely down to try it again for convenience quick beverages for a solid price! PS that coffee and a little bit more that I drank has helped me stay up for over 24 hours! read more

My daughter's piano class is down the street from here, and I always see a bunch of people at this place, so I decided to give it a try. I couldn't resist because of the drive thru option. How much more convenient can it get? I always see all the fast food restaurant with drive thru, but never a Vietnamese coffee/sandwich shop. The vegetarian sandwich was actually very yummy and it went well with the chips. I did feel they could have thrown in a few more chips. As you can tell from my picture, the sandwich was pretty full. The baguette was not fresh, but it wasn't bad at all. I can't say much for customer service because I went through the drive thru, but It was very fast, and I'm sure it's great inside!
