I needed a good study spot with a friend and it was only 10 minutes away from UCI, perfect study location! Parking is easy, not crowded. The place is very adorable- decorations and background music make it very appealing. There is plenty of space, very roomy and lots of tables and chairs to sit at. The menu itself is small, but your typical coffee shop will always have small selections for coffee (this is not a Starbucks). They have crepes too (I am totally trying this next time). Prices are average, about $3-$4 for a cup of coffee. The girls here are very sweet and kind, ask them anything, they're very helpful. I got a salted caramel latte. Delicious and very warm, it wasn't too sweet either. The only downside was that it was a little cold. But that didn't bother me too much. So this is a great little coffee shop! As you enter, the mood is very relaxed and not the high stress energy of Starbucks. A couple of students have their laptops out and even a Tupperware of their own food. I of course order a regular decaf since caffeine can sometimes trigger a migraine on me and as I'm waiting, I look up to see the "Death before decaf" mural. Lol No worries because the girl behind the counter explained that they didn't serve decaf as a drip but only as a latte or Americana. She patiently explained the difference to me. I ended up ordering the latte and enjoyed it. We also ordered the avocado scramble which was an omelet with avocado & heirloom tomatoes on top of thick toast sprinkled with lemon pepper. I think a light sprinkle would have been better since it kind of over powered the taste of everything else. The avocado was very creamy and tasty. They gave you a good portion of avocado and I even had enough to share with my husband. He had a spinach wrap which was the perfect portion to as a light breakfast. The place is off to the side and a bit awkward to get to from one of the freeways cause I ended up having to make like a U-turn to get into it. There was plenty of parking though. They had tables inside and I believe two tables outside. I had the lavender coffee and I thought it tasted good. I felt the lavender was light but still enjoyable and it went well with the coffee. It did feel a bit too milky at some moments, but overall it was good. They also had water inside with strawberries in it which served as a great palette cleanser after the coffee. read more

I'm trying to watch what I'm eating and they were able to make me an egg white omelette, which tasted like there was no butter in it even though I didn't ask for that, with spinach, tomato, and avocado. It was perfect and delicious. I had a sugar free vanilla latte which was also very good. My friend had a chai latte with all kinds of spices in it and she liked it as well. There was ample space and people studying at around 10 in the morning on a Monday. I wasn't feeling a coffee, so this review is based on the tea I got and the ambiance/customer service. The coffee does look good, and they had these cool cold brew machines on display which look awesome! Sadly, I chose (probably incorrectly) an iced tea. They have a sign with fresh brew tea options and I chose a plum oolong. My friend chose a jasmine. We both agreed that our iced teas were okay. The price is a bit steeper than elsewhere and it tasted like it was very lightly and quickly brewed. Otherwise, the customer service was mediocre as well. There wasn't a greeting or any smiles. I got: Acai bowl: I'm usually very picky with granola, but I really liked the granola here--it was rich with plenty of raisins/berries and a deep, rich flavor. The acai bowl itself was also very refreshing and well done with a good proportion of fruits to acai. Vanilla latte (almond milk): At first, I was like "wow, this is a really creamy almond milk latte." Couple sips later, I was like "Hm, it's really milky." Half a cup later..."oh XXXX it was milk!" On one hand, it was a delicious latte with a nice vanilla taste, but I requested almond milk (had to tell her twice) and paid the extra $ for something I couldn't drink--it wasn't a fun trip driving back to LA. Overall, I'd come again, but I really need to triple check and make sure they got my order right next time. I suggest any of you trying this place with allergies also do the same. This coffee place is so cute, it almost feels like it doesn't below. The plaza looks a little old and this is probably the cutest shop there. The sign outside doesn't do the inside justice. Drink: This is one of the few places that offer a nutella latte, so I was very excited to see that. I ordered an iced nutella latte with oat milk. It was very good!
