A wonderful place to do some studying! I came here two times - first time it was a bit noisy on a weekend but when I came here today on a weekday, it was mostly quiet because everyone who came here was studying! The ambience is nice and has a good amount of tables and couches. Had no problem with the wifi. The turkey avocado crepe was in my opinion very thin and super sour. My friend and I both ordered it but she didn't get avocado on top while I did so it doesn't seem to be consistent. The crepe filling wasn't a lot either. Their lavender coffee was alright. I could smell the lavender but couldn't taste any of it. Second time around I tried their Nutella coffee and it is pretty good! I can taste the Nutella in the coffee. :) read more

This is a solid coffee place with good vibes. The music they play is nice and not too distracting, and there are a good amount of tables inside to study at. There is a slight lack of outlets (most of them are near the wall), but it's a nice place to study at for a few hours. Whenever I come here, I only get their tea, but they have a good selection. It's a little on the pricey side, but you can taste the quality of it. The cashier and employees working there are also really nice and welcoming. Ordered a regular sized iced chai latte with almond milk and there was nothing special about it & most definitely was not worth the over $5 price tag. The drink was mostly ice, It tasted like it was made with powder, and didn't have a strong chai taste to it. I feel like iced chais are the most basic of drinks to make so I was disappointed. Maybe the coffee here is good but I wouldn't order an iced tea latte here again so I'm giving 3 stars. read more

A small dark place with a quiet vibe, there is ample parking and seating available. There are not a lot of food choices so hopefully you go because you want coffee. The barista did a good job preparing my latte. The drink was smooth and the milk was nicely textured with a nice rosetta at the top. I travel often for work and have the ability to work remotely here and there. After a client meeting in OC, I was looking for a place to finish up work and grab a bit to eat with some coffee. I tried the Turkey Avocado Panini and had a hot Vanilla Latte. The Panini was very good and you could tell the ingredients were fresh and had a homemade taste to it. The latte was great, though I saw some reviews stating the lavender latte was delicious. If I'm ever in Irvine/Costa Mesa again I'll probably try that. When I was here it was a Friday afternoon and it was very crowded. I ended up sitting outside which wasn't a big deal, (free) wifi still reached and the weather permitted. Coffee Nature, I'm so glad I heard about you. Parking was pretty easy to find as the shop is in a huge plaza and it's not so hard to miss when you're driving by looking for the place because it's pretty big. They had a couple of tables and chairs outside, but the interior is where you want to be at. It's really clean, simple, and gives a hipster vibe throughout the cafe. They have a clean white wall near the entrance, a wood wall in the back, and a chalkboard full of colorful writing all over it in the middle of the shop. A lot of seating inside, but be aware, it can get really packed. They serve Stumptown coffee beans so you already know that their coffee is high quality and delicious. I was debating for a long time between the cold brew and nitro cold brew but I decided to get their 24 oz. cold brew and it was wonderful. Flavorful and refreshing, just the way I like it. Price was only $4.86 including tax which is pretty cheap for a 24 oz. compared to other coffee shops around the area. Staff members were all very friendly and answered all the questions I had for them. I believe this cafe is a great place to study as well as chill and hangout with friends. Free wifi and plenty of outlets around the area, which is a plus. I just only wish they closed later because 6 pm is too early on the weekday and 3 pm is even worse on the weekend. Highly recommend this place to anyone who wants some smooth and rich coffee! read more

So to start, when they get the food right, it's very good. But that doesn't happen very often. Once, we ordered an açaí bowl and got a bowl of very weird tasting mush. When we asked about it, they said "oh, we didn't get to the grocery store this morning so we didn't have all the ingredients to make it." Uhmmm.. why wouldn't you tell us that BEFORE we ordered it?? Then another time I ordered a breakfast bagel with no meat or tomatoes. I got it and it was missing the cheese. Ugh, cheese is my favorite part. Then we go in today and want to order açaí bowl, much like the last 3 times we've tried to order since, they're out of açaí ingredients. They need to hire a new grocery person. It's not like we go in at 5 am. We're there between 9:30 and 11 almost every time we go. Also, when we tried to order a breakfast bagel, she says they can't make any food because there's a rush. We look around at the 5 people in the shop and look back at her. She says "A lot of people have ordered food right now so we can't make food anymore." What?? They have a variety of iced teas (including oolong) and the space is not too cluttered or noisy compared to many other coffee shops. My review is just going to be a drop in the ocean of UCI students and young professionals but I'm going to review this anyway. I came here as an alternative to Neat Coffee down the road as they were closed for a special event. Parking is abundant and wonderful in this wedding-ridden plaza. The cafe space looks like a great place to take your laptop or study, but that slow, easygoing way is clearly the vibe and pace at which the staff also functions. I just ask that the staff be cognizant of wait-time and general awareness of what is acceptable behavior in a business. I waited behind a couple that carefully studied the menu and could not decide on their order with a cashier who, though he saw me, did not ask them to step aside. He also kept asking for clarifications on the order, making it something like 8 minutes before I simply could not wait any longer and left. So, yes I went with 3/5 because I understand I have not tried the product. There were two others working who were slowly making the drinks, laughing and joking; I am not a chill student - I actually had to be somewhere as do many people getting coffee. The place is really cute and I had enough time in line to enjoy and take in the decor but this visit I did not have enough time to give my business to a place that does not understand efficiency and customer service. read more

Out of all the coffee shops in Orange County this one is memorable. Immediately when you walk in the over all feel of the place has this great 'feel at home' kind of ambiance that I think is hard to achieve as most places aim to go for the modern industrial looking furniture and architecture. As I head to the counter the two baristas were extremely inviting and I even had a short conversation with them. I took their recommendation on their popular Lavender Latte. It had the right floral fragrance and taste you'd expect without being too overwhelming. The milk was steamed and served to perfection. If I'm not mistaken I saw they get their roast from Kean Roasters which is a popular coffee chain throughout OC which makes sense why their coffee is A1 quality. Can't go wrong with their price and remember if you're getting a pastry remember to check in for 30% off. One thing to consider is they do have good amount of indoor and outdoor seating but the place can get a bit loud with people studying or going on their coffee breaks. However shouldn't detract you from trying this place. They have a returning customer in me! read more

The service is fast and friendly, but the coffee is sub-par. The coffee here (espresso and black) is the trendy, citrusy blend that is served often in Bay Area coffee shops, but with less depth and complexity. The double shot of espresso wasn't hot at all, and neither was the soy cappuccino. The soy cappuccino was also unfortunately quite a failure because it had more of a latte/flat white sort of consistency and wasn't airy and light at all. The interior decorations were nice, and the counter had plenty of outlets. The atmosphere seemed pretty nice for working. Although the drinks weren't great, the staff were pretty quick and were all nice and friendly. They have a nice selection of traditional coffee orders (e.g. an americano, a pour over, a macchiato) and untraditional orders (e.g. lavender latte, nitro cold brew, rotating monthly special). For food you have bagels, pastries, and a small menu of mainly toast options. Be a millennial and order the avocado toast. It's $7 but it's a meal and absolutely delicious. read more
