Exceeded my expectations! Great fresh food, friendly staff, good iced tea. I'd love to come back for an event! The breakfast sandwich was so flavorful and fresh. And the mediterranean sandwich was such a fantastic flavor combination! I can't wait to come back

Stopped by here from some grub to fill our bellies because we didn't pack any lunch for our adventure. This place was a stop to our next destination so pulled on over. Glad I stopped by because the place is big and very cutesy looking. Ordered a Mexican mocha for the hubs and it actually tastes a lot better Temple's Mexican mocha IMHO. I got a small bit the cup size is not bigger than the Tall from Starbucks. It's close to the grande size. Not overly sweet which I love. Ordered a grill cheese sandwich and a turkey Sammy for the kids. Hubs got the tri-tip breakfast burrito Mom got the bistro breakfast BLT. There is a 3.5% credit card fee so bring cash if you do not want to pay the fee. T

Came here on Sunday around 9ish after paddle boarding and ended up getting a vanilla latte and a BLT breakfast sandwich. Service was good, and although we waited a little longer for our drinks than our food, it was pretty busy and definitely worth the wait. We sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the sunshine while we ate. Overall, it was a really good breakfast, and I'd definitely come back.

I got the pumpkin cream cold brew and it was amazing!! Plus the baristas are the best and so sweet, they said if it wasn't sweet enough to just let them know and they would fix it on up for me. The vibes are great, relaxing and they have a wall with lots of games if you come with a group which is fun. I'll deff come back here to try the food next time, but the coffee is amazing, the people are even better and the space is welcoming. Love love love

We came here on Saturday after an appt. We decided to order the So-Cali burrito, a matcha latte and a regular hot latte. The food was delicious and so was the matcha. The ambience was also relaxing with several tables both inside and outside. We stayed for awhile going over some wedding planning things. We enjoyed the comfort of the place. However, this place only has 1 bathroom. And at one point a group of about 5 people came in lining up to use the restroom. While the cafe is large and busy, hopefully they create another restroom. Once we were about to leave, we saw a band getting started for possibly a night of live music. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, food and ambience.

Apparently Coffee Republic is a local gem of Folsom's that I wasn't previously aware of until now. I was next door with my girlfriend at Origin Tattoo for a session, and during our time there I decided to go next door and grab a drink for my and I. And I must say the vibe inside of Coffee Republic is much different than outside...In a good way. As I walked in from the patio area, I walked into what felt like a local neighborhood hangout, with warm & cozy type of vibe. Once in the front door you're immediately greeted with a large hand lettered chalkboard. That also notes that's the pickup area for your order as well. Coffee Republic was established in 1991 and in the last few years was purchased by new owners. Who apparently put a lot of time and effort into the inside area. It had the feel of the neighborhood hangout area, who want to just enjoy a nice Espresso drink over a friendly conversation. Coffee Republic has a nice setup of their order pickup area, which is nestled at the back corner of the front counter. And gives the opportunity for patrons to look over the various "CR" merch and whole beans to can get to go. It's of their merch area. Which is a nic I ended up ordering two vanilla Latte drinks to go; one hot and one iced.

This was a very welcoming hole in the wall place. It definitely feels like your in a home the vibe was awesome the staff was super nice. I ordered a sugar free raspberry white mocha so so good the flavors were delicious and I ordered a sandwich something road club. The sauce on the sandwich was delicious the bacon was crispy and over all just a great sandwich will definitely be coming again. My friend got tea and the turkey pesto sandwich The lines do get long but they do work fast to get through them I would definitely recommend. The only thing I'd say is that they don't have prices on the bake goods like brownies and cookies they arnt shown on their menus so you would have to ask the price.

Wonderful experience here in Folsom. Loved their welcoming attitude and the atmosphere was eclectic, funky and fun. Enjoyed my almond milk latte and their lemon Avo-toast was spectacular hope to return next time I am in the area...

Cute coffee shop with lots of outdoor and inside seating. Large coffee and food menu. I just grabbed a coffee but will come back to try the food it smells delicious. They also offer game nights and different events throughout the week. Give their socials a follow.

An amazing neighborhood coffee shop with a great coffee and food selection, but even better customer service. Ken and his staff are always courteous and friendly. Christy always remebers us anytime we go, no matter how long its been since our last visit. We've made this a must-go stop anytime we visit from the Bay area (its definitely worth the drive), which is a couple of times a month. The coffees are made to order and they know EXACTLY how to make it. It doesn't ever taste burnt or overly sweet. Perfect every single time!! The only way I can describe their sandwiches are HOLY OMFG good!!! Sorry for the lack of pictures but the food didn't last long enough for me to take a picture of. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Cofffee Republic

A Great Breakfast Stop After a Hike in Auburn! We came here…read morefor breakfast during the week after a hike in Auburn. We had just finished the Lake Clementine/Dam hike and were very hungry afterward, so we headed into town and ended up at Mario's. First of all, Mario's is a very pretty space. I loved the black-and-white aesthetic and the simple but thoughtful décor. There's bar seating, booths, and tables both inside and outside. Parking is plentiful, so that's definitely not an issue. I started with a regular latte, while my cousin ordered a chai latte. My latte was beautiful and served in a very original, deep, low cup that I absolutely loved. It was delicious and just perfect. Unfortunately, the chai latte wasn't really to our liking. It didn't taste much like chai to us--it had a strong cinnamon flavor and a combination of flavors that made it difficult to tell exactly what we were drinking. So, the chai was definitely not our favorite. For breakfast, I ordered what I would call their breakfast sampler, with eggs, bacon, and hash browns, which also came with a portion of French toast. My cousin ordered their Monte Cristo sandwich. My eggs and hash browns were amazing, and there was plenty of bacon! I chose all bacon, and it was thick-cut, smoky, and cooked to perfection. The plates here are HUGE, and the portions are definitely abundant. My cousin's Monte Cristo was their lighter take on the classic. Instead of being deep-fried, their version is dipped in batter and cooked, which makes it a little less heavy. It looked beautiful and had plenty of ingredients inside, but for us, it was just okay. We've definitely had better Monte Cristo sandwiches. Now, the French toast... WOW. This was easily my favorite part of the meal. The bread had this delicious cinnamon-sugar coating on top that took it to another level. Add the soft, fluffy butter and maple syrup, and it was absolutely superb. That French toast alone would bring me back! I also appreciated the nice, cold ice water that was kept at our table throughout the meal. Service was super nice and pretty quick, especially considering how busy they were. I also loved how many options they give you to customize your meal. I could choose between different types of bacon, sausage, or turkey, and my cousin was able to customize her sandwich and ended up choosing cottage cheese to go with a healthier, higher-protein option. They also have sweet potato fries, regular fries, and plenty of other sides that you can substitute depending on what you're looking for. The ambiance was great, everything was clean and well maintained, and even the bathrooms were in good condition. Overall, this was a very good breakfast experience. Not everything was a home run for us, but the service, atmosphere, generous portions, customization options, and especially that French toast made it a place I'd definitely recommend if you're in the area. And after a hike? Even better!

Steak and eggs Loco Moco Pacific Omelette Lox & Bagel Perfect combo Iced Chai Hot chocolate I was so full from my Lox, but I de used to taste the waffle and it was soo good! I liked my lavender iced latte and like the fact that they serve it in a large mug if you plan to drink it at the cafe, it had that extra, comforting touch that I love when hanging at a coffee shop. According to my friend, the room is gorgeous as well; I'll have to check it out next time I visit. They had a lot of scrumptious-looking dessert but they were a little out of my budget. They're beautiful though, and I'd try one for a special occasion (the coffee bean dessert cost $20). The cashier (owner, I'm guessing?) was welcoming and helpful when I said it was my 1st time there and pointed out a list of specials. We had a drink and watched the NBA finals on the TVs (there was no sound so it wasn't noisy). I tried the Mustang Sally cocktail and it was well balanced and delicious! We were seated for dinner pretty quickly. The only problem I had was deciding what to order. The luau shrimp salad? Meatball sub? I finally decided on the lobster mac and cheese. While the portion wasn't large, it was delicious! Creamy and mild with fresh lobster (not fishy) and garlicy breadcrumbs. My husband got the ribeye and was thin but large with great seasoning and veggies. I'm not a big steak fan but I really liked it. We ended up grabbing some beignets to go for the kids, which were really tasty and came with 3 dipping sauces (our favorite was the Berry, although we ended up eating most of them without sauce). The atmosphere was upscale, but very casual, quiet and fun. We saw families with young children, couples on dates, and friends enjoying a meal together. The service was fantastic from start to finish. We had the chance to chat with Julian himself along with a couple other staff members, and everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. The stars of the meal were definitely the breakfast wrap and the bacon, egg & cheese croissant. The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. It was good, but the honey flavor dominated the dish and drowned out some of the other ingredients. I'd love to taste a little more balance there. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and genuine hospitality made for a great breakfast. We'll definitely be back, and I'll be dreaming about that croissant until then.
