You I've been coming here for years. Haven't been here in over year. Use to love coming here to do my work. Spend 10 bucks on average. Always had a great experience. Today was not the case. Came in to do work on my computer. My WiFi expires. So I go up to ask for a new WiFi to finish my 10 mins of work left. The guy up tells me I have to purchase another product to get another code. I explained to him I already purchased 2 drinks already. A tea and a soda and only needed 10 more mins. This around 2:15 today. He tells me management said they are not allowed to give out another code unless I buy another drink. What about the other times I come here and buy their product and leave right away and don't sit in the establishment. Should I keep receipts so I can count those moments as time that is owed to me. Of course not. The same goes if your going to have time limits on your stay. Then maybe have a sign up front to tell people if these new rules. Not a way to treat someone who's been a client for years. Will find another coffee shop that doesn't do this. Buy a product to use services I completely agreed with. Making people buy more because your WiFi is only good for 3 hours and have them have to buy more without having a sign is unethical read more

This has become my fave local coffee shop. They have a couple locations in the East Valley. This location has outdoor seating with misters, and indoor seating out of the sun. Free WiFi with a purchase! The guys behind the counter are so nice, and work efficiently with a long line. At night, look for the white strung lights outside...that's them! They have a frequent buyer card -- buy 10 drinks and get the next one free. Mondays are Double Stamp Day. The pecan baklava is divine, and the iced White Chocolate Mocha has become my go-to drink here. Sshhh, don't tell my trainer. read more

This is Coffee Rush's newest location and it is a good 10 minutes closer to my house, so I am all for it! They have the same delicious coffee drinks as the other locations, my favorites being the Black and White Frost, Mint Mocha Frost, and the Caramel Macchiato Frost. They also have yummy Italian Sodas, the best one being the "Deadly Soda", which is neon green in color and tasty in flavor :) Go for the coffee, free wi-fi, and atmosphere as the pastries seem like throwaway stuff - cookies, muffins, cheesecake which aren't very appetizing. The free wi-fi is great, they give you a login and password upon request when you order your coffee (one per coffee, good for a few hours) Once again, they have a lovely patio space however it is a smoking area and so alas, we don't ever go out there as asthma and cigarette smoke don't mix well (not to mention I find it gross and unappetizing) The dining room is nice - newer and more modern than the other locations. The configuration of tables makes it a bit tougher to aggregate tables to seat more than 2 people per table - the aisles are narrow so tacking an additional table onto one of the 2-tops means blocking the aisleway and/or infringing on the other tables' space. Service is generally good, although not entirely up to par with the other locations - sometimes the employees are a bit sloppy with the drinks and they don't make a lot of effort to recognize people who are in regularly. Overall, I love Coffee Rush in its several iterations and recommend it! The loyalty program is nice, I've recently taken advantage of double punch Monday a few times :) read more

I went to this place a couple weeks ago with my son, a friend and his sons. The person working was incredibly rude and harassing. When my son and I sat down, not 2 min later we were asked if we were expecting more people. When my buddy arrived with his boys, once again the clerk came over to harass us not 30 seconds after we all settled in. Making sure we understood that we had to order drinks. Pretty sure it had something to do with the Bibles we were carrying. The clerk certainly did not make us feel welcomed or wanted. Definitely will not be returning. The sad thing is, my friends and family try to patronize local businesses because we believe in our community and want to see it succeed. Maybe the owner will train his staff to be welcoming to all people in the future. read more

I am a business owner, and it pains me to do this, but this was ridiculous. I have been coming to this location for several months. I've found the drinks to be good and I like the convenient location, despite the somewhat pushy staff. I always order a drink at every place I visit, this one included. Staff is generally pushy about buying coffee, but otherwise friendly.however today was different. I understand wanting patrons to buy coffee, but things have gotten ridiculous here. I sat down and was chatting, when a staff member introduced herself: "here's our menu, please order." I told her I would be happy to, and was told to go the counter to order. Two minutes later, the same. it was difficult to carry on a conversation for the number of interruptions. It Was so bad that, for the firs time I didn't order anything. On leaving the building the owner stopped me and literally stated "you're a cheap person, we don't want your business, don't come back." I couldn't believe it. People come here to talk over good drinks. If this business can't wait five minutes for me to order, and insults the customers they do have, they won't get further business from me or my company. read more

I dig this place. You'd think it would be louder on the patio since it is so close to the road but the trees and walls make it feel more peaceful. I walked in the door and the staff was very engaging and friendly. Grabbed a coffee and went out on the patio to work for an hour or so on solid wifi. I think this will be getting into my regular rotation, so I plan to update more as I try pastries / espresso etc. read more

I came in here yesterday morning, and there was one lady in front of me who was ordering 8 drinks. So it took a few minutes, and the line had grown longer. But I have to say, the man who was working ALONE did an INCREDIBLE job. Interacting with the customers in line and apologizing, saying he will be right with us all. He prepared that lady's drinks so fast and perfect. Multitasking like crazy. I was very impressed with his control under a stressful situation, positive attitude, and interaction with all of us. He did fantastic! And then he gave me my drink for free because of the wait. It was so kind of him. I come here almost everyday, but now I'm loving this place even more because of this employees customer service and hard work. Thank you for the great experience. read more

Jump start my heart, Coffee Rush has this coffee lover twitterpated! After several action packed days off I needed an energy boost to get my morning started! I saw the sign and made a mad dash in, and now I'm addicted. I asked the Barista what the customer favorite was and he recommended the Black & White, a mix of light & dark chocolate. I drank it before my next stop, it was amazing! He gave me a punch card to work my way towards a free coffee, 2 punches for every coffee on Mondays. I went back this morning and had a sugar free cherry mocha & got a strawberry chiller for my girl ! So many flavors in hot, iced, & frost, regular or sugar free! At this rate I'll need a new punch card by Monday! It's my new favorite hot spot for coffee! read more

I do not like to drink coffee or (most) coffee related drinks, but Coffee Rush has some great alternatives! My wife, my best friend, and I like to write comic book and movie scripts together and we usually do this late at night at Coffee Rush. They serve coffee until 11pm (which is great because it gives us a chance to get there and spend some time) and they stay open until 12am so you don't have to leave right at 11pm. I usually get a 20oz. Black & White Frost (something my wife introduced me to) and I always look forward to it. It is one of their blended drinks with ice, milk, white chocolate, coffee. It's pretty perfect. Depending on my mood, I'll get whipped cream on top or not - depends on the day. My best friend gets their hot chocolate (which I have also had on cold evenings) and it is well made. I always prefer a little more chocolate than most places put into their hot chocolate, but when I've asked for a little extra chocolate they have always accommodated me without delay. They also have a few extra non-coffee drinks like Deadly Soda and assorted Italian sodas. You can access their free wi-fi with the purchase of a drink. Since we purchase three drinks (my wife, my best friend, and myself) we are always able to get three wi-fi passes. The passes are good for three hours of access to their Internet and, if you're there for more than three hours, you should probably buy another drink to get another pass and stop being cheap. We never sit outside on the patio because it seems like everyone out there smokes and I can stand smoke. It would be really nice to be able to sit out there some evenings, but I never can because of the smoking. Inside is nice enough though (every locations is pretty much the same on the inside) and the smoke from the patio doesn't bother me inside. I always get my Coffee Rush card stamped when I go in and it adds up pretty quickly for a free drink. They are always good about taking care of you when you get to your free drink and never give you any trouble about it. They seem genuinely pleased that you've come back so many times. Mondays are "double punch" nights so stop in for 2-for-1 punches! read more

The only time I went here, I had a rather...difficult experience. We went in to get an application for my sister and, of course, some coffee. The staff member that served us looked like an Elvis impersonator. He informed us that Coffee Rush wasn't hiring, but that they could keep my sister's application on file. Ok, no problem. We informed him that we would like some coffee. Throughout the time it took for him to take our order, make our coffee, and eventually hand over our coffee he kept staring at my chest and hitting on me while making fun of my sister. We left feeling pretty violated, frustrated, and insulted. However, I have been to another Coffee Rush location and have not experienced this. I gave this two stars because I haven't had as horrendous of experiences at the other location and the coffee tasted pretty good (even if it was made by a pervy Elvis-wannabe look-alike). read more

Decided to stop in today for tea and something sweet. Place is nice with lots of flavors for coffees. They have muffins, cookies, cakes, and to my surprise baklava. Needless to say it was delicious and service very friendly. This place is truly a gem and a great escape from Starbucks. read more

Love this place! I drank Starbucks for a while, but wanted some change. I love just around the corner, and they are great here. They are pretty fast, friendly, and their coffee honestly taste better than Starbucks. I feel like you can definitely taste the coffee better. They offer punch cards and after 10 drinks you get a free one! They also offer little snacks if you need something on the go, wish they had more variety of things, but for a small business, it's pretty good! On mondays, they offer double stamps (which makes me come here every Monday, lol). Overall great place, everyone who I've encountered is super nice and friendly. Would recommend! read more

I've been in this coffee shop many times but last time I was there i was helped by a tall blonde man who called himself Marvin or something. He was polite and the service was great but at some point he asked me how I felt about communism. I told him I'd never thought about it, but then he started trying to pawn literature off on me and get me to sign up for some newsletter periodical. When I refused, he was gruff and slightly rude like I was there wasting his time? I'm all for free speech but to talk down to your customers because I have a different set of beliefs and don't want to join your group is unacceptable.... I will not be back. If I could give this place a negative 5 stars I would. After driving 20 minutes out of my way to try a non-Starbucks coffee shop I arrived with my toddler, special needs nephew and sister. I parked in front, there are no lines to designate parking spaces. Barely through the front door a man, I would assume the owner yelled for me to move my car over. He continued to yell across the coffee shop as other patrons looked on. Simple drinks (i.e., coffee, tea) are pretty inexpensive and baristas are friendly. I'm more a black coffee gal, so I can't really comment on the blended drinks (but they looked tasty and like there were a fair amount of options). And it's open late every day, which is hard to find in Gilbert (especially on a Sunday). There are a couple of big drawbacks about this place. Internet is pretty spotty, so I wouldn't come here to get tons of work done or use anything that required a solid internet connection. There's also a three-hour limit unless you buy another drink. There's a $3.99 minimum for credit cards. Food is kind of limited (baklava and then a bunch of Costco-esque looking desserts). Patio is really nice, but it is the smoking section. Doesn't bother me the most part, but could be bad if you have allergies or aversions to smoke. Overall, a solid place. read more

This place is very kinda like starbucks but more of a local 'hometown' feel. I like this place, the service was good and fast. They had ALOT of choices for drinks and whatnot. I'm not sure if they had WiFi, I should have asked. It was VERY roomy inside of the restaurant, not too many people like your typical starbucks. Omgsh I should have bought come coffee beans... I got a red eye with Vanilla and Carmel syrup. Dang this beverage is smooth... Just like the jazzy guy that made it. Sis got an americano with an extra shot. When I come back to Arizona to visit, definitely coming back here to try other beverages like the Italian sodas. Coffee Rush is by far one of the best local coffee shops one could go to. Between the absurdly friendly staff and the delicious product you're sure to leave satisfied. The inside of the store is a large space with comfortable seating and will make you feel as if you're still at home. In foil; the outside seating is a lively group of eccentrics who you wouldn't mind sharing a story or two with. The people I've met while studying here have become lasting friends in the meantime. I've seen such an eclectic mix of characters! It's fantastic! As far as the coffee itself, it's some of the best. Whether you're looking for a quick to-go cup or to stay and enjoy the free WiFi, you'll stay satisfied. I've been to each location but I've always found that the people on Val Vista are the absolute best! They never fail to brighten your mood with a quick drink recommendation. Their Italian sodas are an equal to the drinks one would see at Dutch Bro's. whilst having superior coffee flavor to Starbucks or any other large corporation. There are not too many small-business model coffee shops in Gilbert, my sister has introduced me to this store. Service is much more personalized and colorful than any routine chain and the selections are a good mix of standard and different. The seating space itself is a little cafeteria-sterile but spacious and able to accommodate many lingerers. There is an outdoor porch as well to catch some sun or smoke your cigar. When brought to their attention, it was played off that they weren't told soy and which was wrong. Just be careful and make sure the young lady who makes your drink makes it the right way. Coffee is good , the Baristas are nice and They have wifi if you purchase something. Only thing that sucks if you buy two items you get a timed wifi password. So I tend to buy my drink then a pastry later (so I can get the wifi again). Great place to study or go on a date. Everyone is friendly. I use to bring my dog all the time and when I came with out him the barista knew. WARNING GPS STUDENTS! Do not come here with a Chromebook because the wifi will not work for you. I came here with my little sister to work on her homework and they forced us to buy two drinks because one drink=one wifi password, and then my little sisters Chromebook did not connect to the wifi the firewall on the GPS chrome books do not allow you to connect. A solid study spot with plenty of seating, quite a few outlets, and friendly staff. This location is weighted towards the high school crowd, it seems. The decor is a little dated, but the patio is nice. Minus cool points for the fake plants, and minus more cool points for the fact that they are never dusted. A significant upgrade would be real plants that are well-maintained. The best thing about the place is the hours - it's basically one of the only late-night places in the metro, which is extremely valuable in terms of getting work done away from home/office. read more
