Was excited to come here after seeing the promo on instagram for free coffee for nurses. The one included was the Biscoff coffee, flavor was pretty good, kinda on the basic side. Nothing too out of the ordinary. Service was pretty quick considering they had the promo going on. Ambiance is nice and spacious, but seating can be limited. Parking is pretty limited as well

I have not been in the area or at this coffee shop. I had to visit someone in a facility nearby but first coffee. Had to quickly find something and this shop came up. Parking van me limiting. I did the 10mins in front but I didn't see much around unless you pay. Walked in and it was pretty big shop with such cute soft seatings along the windows of the shop. Then there's a long communal table with additional tables and chairs in the back. Took me a minute to review the menu and decide. No rush at all and the cashier was a nice young lady who recommended and made my order. The drink was good and I also ordered a hot tea to go and enjoyed that for later. Overall, a good quick visit with good flavored lattes and tea plus food ( if you want to order) when you're here.

Service was okay, the gentleman who took our order was kind. Inside is pretty big and spacious with comfortable seating. The strawberry matcha was delish, it had some strawberry chunks inside which personally for me made it much better like i love chewing all those pieces of strawberries. The sandwich was sooo good too with the side of salad and the dressing it had was perfect. The ONLY BAD THING IS PARKING!!!!! It's literally horrible, everything is reserved for other business around since it is near a hospital and medical offices or only 10 minute parking like bruh. I wouldn't come back just because of that honestly but it's a good spot to relax.

I arrived around 6:58 a.m. along with another customer. A male employee allowed us inside, but shortly after, a female employee stated they were not open yet, even though we were already inside waiting. From the start, the female employee had a poor attitude and was rude and unwelcoming to both the other customer and myself. She wasn't the rudest person on earth, but her demeanor was not suitable for customer service. I was polite and respectful the entire time. When I asked questions about the menu and explained that I usually order iced espresso, black iced coffee, or cold brew and wanted to try a flavored drink made less sweet, she cut me off and said no without offering alternatives. Because of this, I ordered a plain cold brew. Toward the end of my visit, it seemed like she tried to lighten up a bit, but overall her attitude needs improvement. The male employee, however, provided great customer service. He was friendly, welcoming, and communicated clearly, including letting me know that the oven was still warming up, so my bagel would take longer to make. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The breakfast bagel was mediocre, included boiled eggs not shown online, and I paid extra for turkey only to receive about half a slice. I waited roughly 17 minutes for an $8 bagel that wasn't worth it. Overall, one employee was great while the other needs serious improvement. The shop opens at 7:00 a.m., yet the staff seemed unprepared. Parking is available but limited due to nearby medical offices. Nothing stood out as special, and based on this experience, I would not return.

It's been a while, so here's an update on Coffee Up Roastery. The café is usually staffed by two baristas, and during peak hours the wait can be up to 10 minutes. That said, the coffee is delicious and well-balanced, not overly bitter. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a cozy corner dedicated to merchandise. They now offer free 30 minute parking (validation code) and new menu item now includes Banana Crème coffee.

Cute shop, I found it comfortable and relaxing. UNFORTUNATELY , the location is inconvenient for parking reasons. I had to circle around the parking areas twice and I ended up parking in spot I hoped to not get towed. I tried the Biscoff Latte. While it was not bad, I didn't have much of a Biscoff taste. I'd order something else next time. Though my dog approves of it.

Came here after a hike this weekend. Ordered the iced biscotti latte and spicy chicken panini with a side of salad. My friend ordered the Hawaiian iced coffee paired with turkey sandwich. Sandwiches tasted good but nothing extra special, same goes with their specialty coffee. The place has a relax vibe and its clean. They have a self serve ordering system. Parking is very limited.

An actual local gem. Seating: 10/10. Quiet, spacious, really clean! Food: 10/10. I ordered the monte cristo sandwich with kale salad. Each was individually SO good. Monte cristo had a hint of sweetness which was super yum and the kale salad- i wish i got more. The bagel- my boyfriend loved and demolished. Drink: 11/10. I've visited this area a few times and noticed that several cafes have come and gone in this location, so I was curious to check this one out. The interior is nicely decorated with plenty of seating, creating a welcoming atmosphere. There's also a small gift area with toys and trinkets for sale, and even a printer available for customer use -- a thoughtful touch. The server was very kind and friendly, though the service itself was a bit slow. I placed my order before a few other groups, but they received their food and drinks before mine. I tried the strawberry matcha latte, which unfortunately wasn't my favorite -- the strawberry flavor was overpowering, and I could barely taste the matcha. One nice perk is they offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash.

Yum!! I got the Mayan coffee and it was exactly what I expected. Very good! Service was great!

This is the PERFECT place to work! They have food as well as drinks and everything is very affordable. I had a strawberry matcha latte ($5), kale avocado salad ($9) and acai bowl ($10). The kale avocado salad is a good size. It has candied nuts and dry fruit with kale as the salad base. The salad dressing is so good that I gobbled up the whole thing, forgetting to take a photo. My husband and son loved the pesto grilled cheese sandwich. Workers were friendly and welcoming. There are a couple good-sized tables with outlets easily accessible. The background music is light piano music so it's perfect for work calls. There is even a printer there. Wish we lived closer!

I came by today to give this place a second shot and hopefully pick a winner, and I'm so bummed that it was worse than the first time. Today I went with the Spanish latte iced and it was a complete and utter disgrace to the drink, the flavor profile was not even close... No cinnamon flavor, no richness or creamy profile, it was flat.. I ended up at home "fixing it" using their base and modifying it to actually taste like a Spanish latte.. Second item was a cinnamon coffee cake, YIKES it was stale, guys... You have to be careful and rotate your baked goods.. Anyhow I'm disappointed that I had to write this review, but hopefully it provides constructive feedback. read more

Probably one of my favorite local cafe/coffee shop. I love the ambiance and the environment. Great place to come, study, and get some work done. Super cute decor. Employees are super nice. And don't get me started on the coffee. I got the iced Biscoff latte and my bf got the Spaniard. I did lighten my drink and substituted in oat milk, 1/2 tbspn of cookie butter and one pump of sugar free vanilla and it was a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee. My go to when I'm in the area for a coffee and sando. Almost always order the tuna sandwich on Dutch bread but today when I ordered the young gal at register turned to the guy in the NYC hat making the coffees and asked if we could do that instead of the croissant and he very rudely said "no we don't" and then she repeats herself to me since he didn't look up at me. Coffee Up Roastery: Specialty Cafe and Tea is my go-to lunch spot in Fullerton. I tried the Biscoff inspired latte and the spicy chicken avocado sandwich, both of which were outstanding. The Biscoff inspired latte comes with an actual cookie on top, melted Biscoff butter, and vanilla, creating the perfect balance with the espresso without overpowering the coffee flavor. It's a delightful treat that I highly recommend. The spicy chicken avocado sandwich was huge and came on Dutch crunch bread that was incredibly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was so good that I couldn't resist ordering another. The cafe is spacious with larger tables perfect for studying or playing one of their board games with friends. read more

Wanna go to a coffee shop that serves sandwiches then this is a place for you. They have different kind of iced and hot coffee, flat bread and sandwiches. I was supposed to get their flatbread but instead ordered the Tuna croissant and for my drink the Vietnamese Coffee. When I looked this place up on Yelp I had high hopes it was going to be a cute coffee shop but it was disappointing in that regard. The coffee shop offers no ambience and is in the middle of a bunch of medical facilities so it looks more like a gas station stop than an actual cafe. The worker at the cashier was very sweet and friendly, but this is not what I expected when I first saw their menu online. I tried their avocado toast but it was nothing to write home about, and I passed on the coffee because most of their coffee items seemed overly sweet. Parking was also unfortunately a nightmare, as they don't have designated lots nearby and most of the street parking is packed full with patients from the neighboring hospitals. The parking structure nearby offers free parking for the first thirty minutes but it is a brief walk from it to the store. I'd give five stars just for the service, though! read more

This was a cute place and easy to get to. My husband and I went on a Saturday afternoon. I thought we got there well before closing. However, when we tried to order food they informed us the kitchen was closed. We ended up getting two Strawberry Mojitos, which we both really enjoyed. The ambiance is great very clean and welcoming. Plenty of seating. I got the avocado toast and the Vietnamese Coffee. The toast was wonderful with bacon and egg, the bacon was perfectly cooked. They even had some hot sauce to add in it, very nice. The highlight was the coffee, it was strong with the perfect amount of condensed milk, not too sweet where the coffee flavor is dominant and not the sugar. Service is very fast and friendly. Definitely one of the better Vietnamese Coffees out there. Great place will be back! read more

First time coming here since I was fasting and super hungry after my blood work next door. I got a very homey, chill vibe to the place. If I wasn't too busy I could have fallen asleep on those comfy blue sofa seats next to the board games! Checked out the menu and decided to get the turkey club and an iced vanilla latte. The turkey club was DELICIOUS and the latte was great! I love their set up as well. They have board games and tables where u can just sit and enjoy your meal. If I'm getting blood work again in the area, I will definitely come here to break my fast. read more

Absolute gem in neighborhood. Young people working that truly care about their craft and their clients. Delicious food served on actual plates! Wonderful selection of coffee drinks. Nice new little joint in Fullerton. Sandwiches are tasty and use fresh and good ingredients, macnut oatmilk latte is amazing, staff is friendly and cafe is maintained cleanly. My only complaint is that the mobile order never gets ready in reasonable time. I've ordered in advance 3 times hoping to be able to just pickup and go but ended up having to tell the staff I was waiting for my drink each time when I got there and watched it getting made. Latest pickup took 20 min from ordering to pick up so not a great experience when you are in a rush. read more

Recently did a DoorDash order and tried out coffee up for the first time and really enjoyed the lattes! We got the Hawaiian latte and blue lavender latte and both were delish, not too sweet with the espresso coming through nicely! On the app there was no option to make the lattes less sweet so that would be nice if it were an option but they weren't overly sweet anyway. The bagel sandwich was ok, the bagel itself was pretty dry and and nothing special, the almond croissant was nice and flaky and did the job but especially toasted up at home. Appreciate it being available on DoorDash, will definitely order again:) read more

Friendly service. Strong, well-made espresso drinks (although the Biscoff is more for Instagram and not really special outside of the presentation). My preference is for their lattes, and my husband loves their Hawaiian. Delicious sandwiches. We especially love the spicy chicken sandwich and pesto grilled cheese. There are ample indoor seating and many different board games to play. read more

My absolute fave coffee place! The prices are amazing and literally EVERYTHING you order is good here. Their Vietnamese coffee and macnut oatmilk latte are my favorite. I've also had the Spanish latte and snickerdoodle latte. Their chicken Alfredo flatbread hits the spot and so savory. Also their egg sandwiches are a great go to as well and you can customize it! I dont know what happened that day but, my expectations were not met at all. I ordered a pesto grilled cheese and I was expecting the presentation to be great (just like what I saw on IG) but, it was literally just a boxed sandwhich. It also tasted okay. Their iced matcha latte was also not mixed enough, there were chunks all over my cup and it tasted like it's watered down. Workers were nice but, we had to wait for a couple of minutes to order as there were only 3 of them making food & drinks. It would be nicer if they had more so others can make food comfortably. Regardless, my friends & I still enjoyed playing board games! There were variety of choices and is definitely a great spot for hangout. read more

A very nice surprise! A new business near St Jude's come west side. Coffee up is open early 6am. They have been.here since Sept. Owner Jonathan was so pleasant as we chatted while he freshly prepped my decaf Americano. This unit has always been a pleasant spot with floor to ceiling windows and a calm easy vibe. The exterior seating area featured numerous umbrellas, though I observed the absence of space heaters. However, the interior exuded warmth, providing a cozy refuge. Noteworthy were the expansive windows, perfect for indulging in some people watching or gazing at the California sky post rainfall. Upon entering, I discovered a tempting array of snacks and a small selection of gifts available for purchase. The menu offered a variety of teas and coffees, among which I opted for the decaf cappuccino with GF Oatley oat milk--a perfect choice! What added to the experience was the absence of any adverse reactions, a significant relief given my numerous food allergies. Coffee Up is surrounded by sidewalks, and is close to residential streets and the Juanita Cooke Trail. This coffee shop is perfect for a charming date or a casual meetup with a friend, combining refreshing drinks with a pleasant stroll. The Biscoff inspired latte comes with an actual cookie on top with melted Biscoff butter and vanilla that creates the perfect balance with the espresso without overpowering the coffee flavor. The spicy chicken avocado sandwich was huge and came on Dutch crunch bread that was so crispy on the outside and soft in the inside...excuse me as I get another. This is my favorite coffee shop in Fullerton! every drink I have had is delicious from the coffees to the Matcha's. my favorite is the iced Hawaiian and the Matcha creme. Delicious!! Another plus is they sell a lot of Pop Mart things here.... I probably shouldn't say this because I wanna keep it a secret, but I have spent so much money here on Pop Mart Labubu's and other blind boxes. They also have Sonny Angels sometimes and Smisky's.
