This place is great. We went for Breakfast with our two young kids. They offer a very simple but modern menu. I had the baked oatmeal with fresh fruit. My wife had the avocado toast. She said it was good but next time no feta cheese on it. I enjoyed my oatmeal. Everything was made fresh. My kids split the two eggs, pancakes, and bacon. It was enough for both. There is no kids menu. Prices were comparable to anything else in the area. I feel it was the best option around. Service was on point, food was good, and atmosphere was trendy and relaxing. Great place. We were in the area for a wedding, and stopped by here the morning of for a quick breakfast with the groom and a few of the close friends. The service was great, friendly and prompt. The food was delicious. I had the egg (white) sandwich on a croissant and it was great. The owner (I think) even came out and congratulated the groom-to-be and comped his meal. While their Lancaster Shopping Center location is shut down for violating COVID restrictions (Lancaster Online Jan. 26, 2021), this location still has their employees all not wearing masks and sign on the door says, "Masks encouraged". Happy with the taste of the coffee but disappointed with the ambience. We were hoping for coffee house, casual café feeling. It felt like a restaurant with just tables. We were hoping and expecting some comfy chairs and casual relaxation seating areas. Hope it makes it as the staff and coffee was good but it doesn't give a hangout feel. Okay, they clearly worked out ALL kinks. I love the avocado toast! And they can do gluten free toast w it. It's a big breakfast so I ask for a half and it's perfect. Hubby loves their black coffee and I'm a fan a simple vanilla or hazelnut latte. We frequent here often and one of my dearest friends does a standing Saturday morning date. After getting some really good compliments about the Coffee Co. I went there for breakfast. I was there at 76am (when they open). The were prompt and pleasant. The food was great (I had an egg with some bacon, chipped beef and potatoes). The coffee was amazing as well. They also catered an event I attended at the Lancaster Host. Again, the food was amazing (I had a sausage on roll with Mac and Cheese). Their location was not the best - it was a bit chilly - but that didn't damper the spirits of the works. Again, nothing but smiles and good food at a reasonable price. Take home message here.... if you're in the Lancaster area on RT 30, want some good food and coffee at a reasonable price and with a friendly atmosphere, stop in - your belly (and your wallet) will be glad you did. read more

I drink a lot of coffee. I prefer to stop by local places (but also have my fill of Dunkins and Starbucks). It is rare that a cup of coffee actually tastes noticeably better than average. Coffee Co is the exception. I came here twice and both times, my coffee was astounding. Also, and here is where the bonus star comes from, when I asked for a shot of espresso in the coffee, they actually made the shot from scratch. Other places have a warmed carafe behind the counter that they add and it is indistinguishable from the coffee itself. Not this place. I wish there was one closer to my house, I'd be a regular. Oh, and I bought the banana nut muffins, they were fresh with, get this, chunks of bananas in them. Thumbs up! read more

We get there and there is a line going out the door because of how popular this place is! Stopped at this cute little coffee shop for a quick drink with my roommate. The two employees were very nice and helpful. My roommate ordered the mocha iced coffee and I got their fresh squeezed lemonade. Both were amazing. The coffee wasn't too chocolatey and the lemonade (despite looking watered down) was so good, not too sour, not too sweet. You can really tell it's fresh made!! I had a great time overall 10/10 recommend. Looked at their menu and saw that their food is not too expensive and has great options. Definitely coming back for lunch sometime. read more

Never a bad experience here. I have been here a number of times in the past couple of years and the Coffee Co never fails to deliver the goods. My food (whether breakfast or lunch) has been very tasty on each occasion, nicely presented, and the coffee drinks have always been of the highest quality. The staff are quick with a smile, accommodating with the timing with my table's ordering, and attentive with the perfect amount of attention. My last visit allowed me to witness the great staff in action. A neighboring table had a hot drink spill all over the table which produced a howling toddler. No less than three staff members quickly arrived from seemingly nowhere to clean things up and attend to all the needs of that table! Lancaster is one of our favorite places to visit and although there are many places to eat there is always something missing but Coffee Co truly has it all. Warm & inviting location with very friendly service, delicious and fresh food, and EXCELLENT coffee (I'm a coffee snob). They have a wonderful outside area to enjoy beautiful days like today, 7/8/18. There were 4 of us having breakfast and I decided to have oatmeal, I know boring right, WRONG! They make Baked Oatmeal and serve it with berries and milk and it is SO SO good. The Red Eye is coffee with 2 shots of espresso that is rich, smooth & bold which hubby and I enjoyed very much. Our friends loved the hazelnut coffee that is freshly brewed and they said it was perfectly nutty. This is definitely a return especially because I didn't take pictures and it's the only part of our visit I regret. read more
