Love this donut shop! Thank you for making my daughter's 5th birthday special! So cute and fun!

Lettuce sandwich because the pastrami was too little.

I ordered a pastrami sandwich and I got a lettuce sandwich. the pastrami was too little or more on the decorative side. The inside was a thick lettuce.

Kinda expensive for donuts. Got a crueller and old fashion-one dollar each and hubs got a glazed and long John. Add a large coffee and it came out to a little over 5. Guess I'm still used to paying Michigan's price. Donuts were okay overall and not very many selections for 10 am on a Sunday. Might skip this next time and try the other shop in moorpark.

Love this Donut shop, the owners are super nice and make great tasty donuts. I walked in as I was passing by the area, I really like supporting small local businesses like this one, to my surprise this place was a delight. The shop is clean and it's ran by hard working owners, I got a chocolate donut with peanuts and a breakfast croissant sandwich, with BACON! I really appreciate good crispy bacon, I can tell it was fresh. Their selection is phenomenal: fresh donuts, coffee, breakfast sandwiches, cold drinks, blended drinks, and BOBA! I love that they have cold coconut water, can't get enough. Anyway, if you're ever in Moorpark, stop by and get a snack here, your life will be sweeter for sure.

I've been to Italy multiple times and grew up around Italian baking, and this is hands down the best frittelle I've ever tasted. Light, golden, and filled with vanilla custard, then finished with a dusting of powdered sugar, it was truly unforgettable. This is a real Italian bakery, and once you step inside, the space completely opens up--high ceilings, a beautiful interior, and a hidden, speakeasy feel you'd never expect from the street. The young man with blonde hair who helped me was so kind, knowledgeable, and clearly proud of the bakery. It made the whole experience even better. The latte was perfectly done as well. Everything here feels high quality and thoughtfully made. I'll definitely be back. Thank you--support local.

Within ten seconds of walking in, I was greeted by Ama, who set the tone for the whole visit. She was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout. She even let me sample different gelato flavors and suggested some great dishes to try on my next visit. That kind of thoughtfulness goes a long way. The affogato here is on another level. Most places serve it in a paper cup where the espresso and gelato just blend into a mushy mess. Not here. Carrara's presents it beautifully on a stone tray, with a proper espresso cup and a transparent glass so you can actually see the layers of gelato and espresso. And Ama personally poured the espresso tableside, which really topped off the whole experience. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

An ABSOLUTE GEM in Simi. Pastries, drinks, atmosphere,…read moreservice... all on point. I'm obsessed with this place. You walk in and it feels like you are transported to a Ghibli dream cafe. Small and cozy, cute cottage-core hedgehog figurines with mushrooms adorn the entrance table where all things hedgehog are displayed. It's the small touches here that show what thought was put into this place; like fresh strawberry mint water (or other fruit water offered) and always soft French jazz bossanova playing in the background. The service is amazing, despite never seeming to have a lull- there's always a good stream of people at any hr of the day filtering in. So let's get to the food. My family has been multiple times now, and Every pastry was a sheer delight. Not too sweet! Just right. The pastry chef making these has meticulously crafted a curated array of fun unique options that seem to change often. Drinks offerings are organic drip coffee, teas, matcha and also hot Belgium chocolate or iced Belgium chocolate. Things we tried: Iced strawberry matcha with homemade strawberry jam Iced Chai milk tea Lemon brioche Strawberry curd brioche Curry ball (crispy outside delicious spiced lentil inside) Maple pecan croissant Cherry danish Pear danish Curry pie Chocolate orange silk pie Every one was stunning. This is an adorable date idea, cute morning or mid day treat, or for kids- I brought my nephew and he can't stop raving about it.

I'm not sure if someone called out that day, or if it was something else entirely. My party did their best to lighten the interaction. She continued to express that anger throughout. There was no greeting or welcome. She assisted us, but with visible reluctance. I tried to order a sandwich listed on the specials board near the pastry case, only to be told it was only available Monday through Thursday. I'm not sure why a specials board would list items that are only offered during the week. On a positive note, a gentleman on staff was kind and genuinely helpful. His service made a real difference. Plus the customers are very friendly. As for the pastries, I appreciate the concept of blending French and Japanese techniques. It's an approach I often explore in my own pastry and confectionery work. It is a perfect match! As a small business owner myself, I would never treat a guest the way we were treated. I would not allow my staff to behave this way either. I understand everyone has an off day. Still, it's important to remain professional with guests regardless. I would have been willing to try this place again if it she hadn't seemed so bothered by us ordering three pastries, a black coffee and tea. Like I said, maybe it was an off day but you can still be cordial and professional.

I should probably figure out how to break that chain in my brain. Today's adventure was a busted MRI appointment. Later, after a relaxing dinner with Dear Hubby, I asked him where the best donuts were to be found between the restaurant and home. He immediately suggested Foster's Donuts, so we made the small detour. A very nice lady took care of us. Despite it being almost 7:00 p.m., when they close at 9:00, there were still full cases of yummy treats. I'm enjoying a maple glazed traditional donut as I write this review. So, I have been looking for a new donut place that is closer to me. Searching on every places and Foster's donuts looking very promising. Went there on Wednesday. 5pm, still have many selections of donuts. I got 9 different kind of donuts for $23. Hopped back to the car. Couldn't wait to get home. Took a bite of the glaze donuts. I frowned. Not my kind of donuts. There's type of donuts that melt in your mouth and there's the one that is chewy. This donuts falls in the middle. Not what I expected. Although I think the sweetness is perfect not too sweet so thats a good part. Anyhow, my journey to searching for best local donuts store will continue. Foster's not for me.
