I had a question about a menu item, they didn't know but were able to get me the answer right away. Again. Very good. Now the not so good. The prices are way to high for the food quality and amount. We got the everything appetizer and it was 16 bucks! It came out on a small plate. It was cold and it was not good. The wings were fatty and greasy as well. Well the ladies room is gross and needs some serious attention. The service is mediocre at best. This was my first experience with the Cogburn's, and boy was it a doozy. A friend of mine recommended the place after we all saw the new Spiderman movie. Funny enough he ends up being the one who was not served due to his "questionable ID", but I'm getting ahead of myself. We were all excited to talk about the movie and see the end of the Pats game at the bar. After first serving five of the six in our group a beer each, the sixth person decided to order one as well. They denied his federally issued RealID from Florida, saying they felt it was questionable (mind you, they are very hard to fake). This ID has the gold star in the top right corner, meaning it meets the federal standards for interstate and air travel, and well as being the de facto standard of identification in the US. Interestingly enough, one of the OTHER members in our group did NOT have the RealID gold star sticker, and yet was still served. His ID was also still in a vertical format, giving much more reason to be denied service than the ReadID of my friend. Overall, it was a very perplexing situation to have five out of the six in our group be served while one was singled out for seemingly no reason. Another key point is that everyone in the group was 22+ and the one who was denied is 26. Our server Ariana was really awesome and super accommodating to absurdity of the situation. She did her best to make our experience better despite the poor management. I personally will not be coming back to this place and my buddy will forever be missing his beer. Cheers! read more

WORST COGBURNS IVE ATTENDED. First off, our friend arrived before us, had a few drinks at another bar, laid his head down on the table where he was seated for about 30seconds. The bartender came up and said that she felt he should go home (ok..fair.) He wasn't causing trouble, but I get it. cool. I show up with my girlfriend who was there with him, and we instantly have the manager blatantly cussing at us and refused to serve us upon walking in, and the server cussed out my girlfriend after trying to explain our friend came from another bar and the bartender "didn't feel comfortable" serving us as well. Even though we did nothing. When we were obviously sober. (Our friend LEFT.) The super unprofessionalism of this location is OBSURD. What a joke of a place, I've given their other locations quite a bit of my business on a regular basis but I refuse to go back now. Wipe house and get new employees. - Server, Bartender and MANAGER are extremely unprofessional to be working in their fields. I stopped in to kill some time while I waited on Discount Tire to finish my appointment. Great draft beer selection and happy hour prices are super reasonable. They have a $5 appetizer section with a few options- I ordered the bean and cheese fry bread and was pleasantly surprised! I normally only eat fry bread at the state fair so now I know where to get it year around. The bar is clean and fairly open with tons of tables. This is definitely my new wing place of choice. After my longtime favorite alternative location closed down, and after a particular popular stop for wings became pretty pricey, my fiancée and I have been looking for a new date spot. We stopped here on a late night whim, after seeing it a few times from the road. It looks pretty unassuming from the outside, but stepping through the door was the right choice. The music playing on the jukebox was perfect, and the menu was a pretty decent size, with pretty decent prices. I never knew a combination of hot wings, chips and guacamole would hit it off so well, but it was a definite winner. The range of wing flavors was excellent, from pretty crazy choices (like peanut butter and jelly) to competitive heat. The staff was attentive, even at almost eleven on a Saturday night. Everything was clean, causal and laid back. Although it was listed as a bar, it didn't feel like the overwhelming bar atmosphere. My husband introduced me to Cogburn's GRILLED wings a few years back from one of their other locations and they were phenomenal! We tried this new location since it's down the street from his office and they're just as great...grilled garlic parmesan are my favorite. It was fairly full, very clean, and service was good...we got seated immediately and drink orders taken within a few minutes. I know others mentioned the service was lacking and while we didn't have issues, I realize that it can take a bit to work out the kinks at a new establishment. Horrible management! My husband and I are regulars and we respect and tip the staff well but management is horrible. My husband and the manager have had friendly banter back and forth about cubs vs cardinals for months. Tonight the manager was not appropriate. My husband started the usual banter about baseball teams and the manager went off! He came up into my husband's face and yelled at him "what's your problem with me" and that my husband wasn't allowed to say things like that. I have visited here twice now for lunch and both times I ordered burgers. Both times I thought the staff was nice, the service was good, and I thought my burger and fries were best I had in a long time. The first time I got a cheeseburger with cheddar, and the second time a grilled mushroom and Swiss cheese burger, yum! The burgers are so good I thought my dad grilled them, and man, could he could grill! The only improvement I would make would be to change out the wimpy pickle for a crispy kosher dill.
