Atiq was a great help and quick to respond. He was able to come out the same day with no same day charge, just a normal fee. He quickly assessed our AC situation and not only gave us a solution but also a preventative replacement we could do at the same time to ensure that when we installed a new compressor, it wouldn't short circuit. He let us know right away that our parts were under warranty but there would be a delay. Atiq kept us updated with our parts coming in and the same day he received both he came out to fix our unit. Atiq is as good as they get. I've seen some HVAC folks in my lifetime. Most were pretty good. Occasionally there's a bad apple, but the golden one of all is Cold Ease! I met Atiq years ago, when my AC wasn't blowing out. He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem, and he's since been the man I choose for biannual HVAC inspections. It's a condo requirement for the HOA. Can't say I like the HOA, but I love Atiq and his company. Great employees, respectful, professional, kind, honest, and in a recent experience responsive. Other folks would have been weeks. Atiq was here before I think he knew it. He's a wonderful gentleman, and I don't trust easily, as I work in a field of skepticism. 5-Star Rating is an understatement! I wish I could give a 10-Star Rating and here is why. Yesterday our hot water heater decided it was time to go out on us. Always a very stressing and unexpected event. Fortunately we caught it before water reached the finished part of our basement. Being newer to the area, while I am at work, my wife turned to Yelp to find help. She came across Cold Ease Services and saw a few key factors: 5-Star Rating with great reviews, and locally owned and operated. She gave a call and spoke to Attiq. He was about 30-40 minutes away and headed to our home. By the time he arrived I had just made it home to help stop the flood and get the water and gas valves shut off. Immediately Attiq went into planning mode. He advised us on our options and we made a plan. He had to go pick up the materials with the new water heater. When he got back he immediately went to work. Within 90 minutes of beginning the removal and install he was finishing up with the final checks and pay extra attention to the water and gas hook up to make sure it was all done to standard. Attiq is very professional, courteous, honest and patient when it comes to diagnosing HVAC problems. We bought a house that came with a 17 year old system that we know is nearing the end of it's life span. The first two weeks after purchasing the home the water heater failed then two weeks later the furnace would not cycle on or heat. The sale of the home came with a Home warranty. We had a lot of issues i the past with the companies and techs that the warranty company would send. Seems we got lucky this time around. Attiq took plenty of time to diagnose the problem and got the part within a day and a half. The furnace is not only working but seems to be running a lot better than before. Attiq was also honest about not only the brand of furnace but because of the age that we may need a full replacement in the near future. What Attiq did not do, which most HVAC chain franchises do, is use a ton of excuses as to why they cannot fix your older unit and just spend most of the time pressuring you to buy a whole new system and charge a expensive visit fee to do that.
