I've been to this location several times, generally after watching a movie at the nearby AMC theater. The employees working at this location have always been friendly towards me and in more than one occasion upgraded my size free of charge or gave me extra. My favorite item to get here is the Apple Pie A La Cold Stone - vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, graham cracker pie crust, apple pie filling, and caramel. The mixture of these ingredients gives the ice cream a splendid apple pie taste that reminds you of how mama used to make them pies! One suggestion that I have for the staff is to do a more frequent job of cleaning the outdoor tables and seats since they can be a bit sticky. I haven't had Cold Stone in months and was really craving it tonight, so I decided to try out this location, and it was good. I really wanted the boo batter ice cream, but they were sold out, so I settled with sweet cream( the best flavor, no question about it). I ended up adding kit kats, birthday sprinkles, and graham crackers. Service was good, especially for foot traffic picking up. I think it took about 15 mins to total, so not too bad. Although I created my own, there are many different flavors and combinations to choose from. You can make your own shakes too! Also, about this location, I don't think there's wifi but there is outdoor seating right out front and more seating since it's technically in a plaza. This store tends to make errors in orders. For example, you will order a signature creation and it will be missing the most important add in that is even in the name of what you are ordering. They will charge you more by mistake too. What's worse is I tried telling her the way she charged doesn't sound right but she was adamant about it. I didnt realize I was missing strawberries till I got home and opened it. Perhaps they have a lot of new employees. But it's just not cool as a customer to be on the receiving end of this. Please train your staff adequately. Also, the signs on their door say you need to wear a mask, but it's not enforced. More than half of the customers in the store are not wearing them. And it's usually jam packed in the very small amount of space they have there which is also poorly ventilated. read more

Horrible service!!!! Leslie had half our order wrong and when we called to inform them she didn't allow me to explain just blabbered her way and did not want to listen. She needs customer service skills and if they can't get an order right and know the difference between chocolate and pistachio then they need to take more training besides getting that wrong one of coffee lovers order had all sorts of other confetti in there as if they used spoons from other candy jars. NOTE TO ALL CUSTOMERS: The OWNER of this store is willing to expose everyone to COVID-19, by requesting that customers return food items that have melted, and been in someone's trash can collecting whatever waste is added on top of it and around it. Which will then have to be touched by employees and transported around their store until a gets to wherever they dispose of it or reuse it. Full explanation as follows: I have been going to this cold stone for about 8 years now for birthday cakes. Yesterday, April 25, I purchased a cake for my wife's birthday and it was supposed to be a yellow cake with chocolate chip ice cream. Unbeknownst to us, it was a red velvet cake, which we realized once we cut into it at night, after singing happy birthday. I immediately called the store to tell them it was the wrong cake that did not match the label on the packaging, and I'd take it back that same night, and the person I spoke to said they should give me a refund, but didn't have the authority to give it to me herself, so she left a note for the owner, who wouldn't be there until the following day. We spoke to the owner, who offered only 20% off of the next $50 or $70 cake. Now, keep in mind this cake was over $50, it was purchased to be consumed and enjoyed that same day, by the person who's birthday was being celebrated, and it is completely different from what was labeled (pictures attached). I told her that I didn't think that was reasonable, so she said to return 3/4 of the cake, which I told her was MELTED and IN THE TRASH now, since we weren't able to return it yesterday, and she proceeded to tell me that SHE WILL ISSUE A REFUND IF I TAKE IN THE MELTED CAKE THAT WAS IN MY TRASH CAN. I don't want to get melted cake all over my car for the simple fact that the owner of the store is being more UNPROFESSIONAL than the employees, but I will if I have to. On that note, thank you to the employee that I spoke to yesterday that did her best to help me with the matter. You are more reasonable and professional than the person that owns your store. I decided to get the bucket that was displayed for $18.99.... tell me why it's now $21.99 and on display it says $18.99. I asked the worker why they aren't honoring it and their response was something about "we only get minimum wage". Cold Stone's and Baskin Robbin's are the places I grew up with before moving on to more chic, artisan ice cream shops such as Van Leeuwen, Mashti Malone's and Salt and Straw. That noted, I'd been wanting to give it a revisit for sometime because a childhood nostalgia is good for the heart. I came in with a friend before our 11pm showing of "Men in Black International" started and the place wasn't as crowded as I thought it'd be (we managed to get a table relatively fast). My friend got the Signature Creation "Our Strawberry Blonde" and a I made my own "Gotta Have It"--because go big or go home. Everyone was really nice and the portion size was generous, so no qualms there; my only real reservation is that the employee making my creation had to run to the back to get more Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, which led to my ice cream partially melting before I got to dig in (not his fault as I assume it's the opening staff's duty to restock before the evening shift crossover). I enjoyed what I created (Cake Batter, Reese's Peanut Cups and Peanut Butter Sauce) and my friend enjoyed his as well. Do not choose this location for your custom ice cream cake. I placed my order a full week in advance for my birthday. I picked it up on time and when I cut into it, I discovered that it had strawberries inside. Luckily, I am not allergic to strawberries because I took a bite before I discovered they were also mixed in. When I called them to report that I was not given the correct cake, the manager would not even get on the phone with me to apologize and offer a refund or to remake it. Instead he had the employee take down my name and number with a promise to call me the next day after he had a chance to speak to the cake decorators. The call did not come and thankfully, I did not wait. I brought the cake in around the time that he was supposed to be calling me and discovered he wasn't even there. The employee who was could not explain why they made a different cake than what I ordered and paid for. She called the manager who said they were not able to give a refund because they were not able to at the point and offered me to wait for a refund, give them a couple days to remake it, or choose one from their freezer case, none of which made up for the problem they caused. read more

These two teenage (two young men) kids are awesome. No supervision needed. They are handing every order with ease. At first it was just my family that came in, which was 6 of us, and since then I have seen them handle 10 more customers after us back to back. They are a well oiled machine and never skipped a beat. I have to say... I've loved Coldstone Ice Cream since I was 15 years old and had it as my first job. I've always loved the flavors and variety of toppings. The ambiance of the one where I grew up was such a happy and fun one. However, I can't say the same about this location or any other LA location I've been to. The service is severely lacking. Mostly you're being served by people who look like they hate their lives and hate you in the process. Since it's a brand, the flavors are consistent, so I gave it two stars for that. However, every time I've come to this location, they ALWAYS underserve me. They literally give me a half-empty cup. At $7.50 for a medium, I expect a little love into it--at the very least, fill my cup. It shouldn't feel like a scoop of ice cream dangling around in an oversized cup. I came here with my family for ice cream after our breakfast because we wanted something sweet. We arrived around 11:30am. The guy who attended us seemed very bothered about the fact that we came in & very impatient after we told him we were still decided on what we wanted & we would let him know when we were ready. He was very pushy on rushing us even though we were the only ones in the store. I got myself the silk chocolate ice cream in the small size. I wanted the ice cream cone but he said they had none available. My mom wanted a fruit smoothie but he said they ran out of the mix to make it. Honestly, this guy just seemed very lazy. But when my step dad asked for a large ice cream , he told him in a very rude, criticizing way, " are you sure you want a large? It's a lot of ice cream". We stopped by one early evening and the store was empty, most of the ice cream was gone, a bit of left over here and there in some 80% empty containers. Very unappealing. We asked about a type of ice cream we saw on one of their tv ads and the girl working here looked as us like we were crazy. She didn't seem to know what we were talking about and they didn't have it.
