It was breakfast, lunch and dinner for two that was restaurant style food. Mike loves to go out to dinner and really misses that kind of food. Unfortunately the food was supposed to come Saturday between one and four in the afternoon and it didn't. So I went out and bought seafood and a bunch of desserts and goodies that he likes so that he would have something on Valentine's Day as the meals were his gift. So I spent a lot of money on the seafood and other goodies and lo and behold on Valentine's Day, which was the next day, we went out in the morning for a drive. When we got back there was a box on the front step from Edible Creations. I don't know how long it was out there but fortunately it was a cold day so we weren't worry about food spoiling. Unfortunately we had seafood to cook and eat while it was still fresh. We took the meals and desserts from and put them in our back hallway which is quite cold. And we took the next couple of days to eat all of it despite the fact that we did have leftover seafood so it was kind of a little mixed up thing going on. I have to say that that food I ordered was absolutely delicious. The quantity of food as far as the meal sizes was amazing. I ordered two breakfasts which included pancakes, sausage, eggs and home fries. It was perfect for a meal for one. Mike ate part of mine which is typical and he really enjoyed the breakfast. After breakfast we had cinnamon rolls that I had ordered. Mike is a big fan of cinnamon rolls. These were absolutely amazing. And they were six full-size cinnamon rolls. When I ordered six and I think that was the minimum you could order I expected to have small catered buffet size pastries. They instead were a full-size cinnamon roll covered in caramel and nuts. He was absolutely crazy about them and I liked them as well. I ordered him a chicken pot pie for lunch. I don't like chicken pot pie but he loves it so this was a great way for me to get him what he likes without having to cook it. It was a full 9 inch or 10 inch pie. It was about 2 inches thick and so thick that it took ages in the oven at a low heat for it to heat through, it was fully cooked. For dessert for his lunch I ordered apple turnovers. Again I was expecting to get small catered size turnovers which would've been fine because I had to order six again. They were full size turnovers and they were just incredible. I didn't expect to get this much food in this quality of food not having tried them before. And for dinner I ordered Thanksgiving dinner for Mike which he loves and chicken Parm and pasta for me. They were two full meals. I ate some of mine for dinner and Mike ate the rest of the following day. I had to cut up the chicken pot pie and put it into meal size bags in the freezer so that Mike could take them out and enjoy them whenever he wanted them. The quality of the food was absolutely amazing. I can't say it enough. And the price was just incredible. With tax it was $117 for all of that oh and I forgot the individual cheesecakes that we got for dessert after dinner. I ordered those separately and they were delicious. If you order more than $50 worth they will deliver for free and they only deliver three days a week so you have to be careful for that. Their website is easy to negotiate. I just wish there was some communication. They didn't deliver it the day they were supposed to and they never notified me. They delivered it the next day and left it on the front step not even knowing if I was going to be home. Not one word have I heard from them since then apologizing for the delay. I just don't understand it. But I would definitely sort this out and order from them again and again and again.

When I instructed delivery be left with a specific floor (the cupcakes were for everyone working on that floor), I should have been contacted prior to delivery if a specific name of someone to accept delivery was required (I was not contacted). These cupcakes were not for a patient (certainly would be a very hungry patient) but for the nursing/administrative staff. Number listed on form was general number for Beth Israel Deaconess, yes, but again, if driver asked where Stoneman 5 was there would not be a problem. Again, read the information prior to delivery so driver can have any questions clarified & this problem could have been a non-issue & delivery could have been made on date & time it was promised. Clearly not the fault of the purchaser that there is a flaw in the design/content of the on-line order form. Having my contact number listed only under the billing that driver does not have, not my fault.
