Placed my order through Uber Eats yesterday. Ordered the coffee ice cream with mix-ins of course, but what did I get?! JUST PLAIN COFFEE ICE CREAM, haha! What?! I dug through the ice cream hoping to find the mix-ins I requested at the bottom, but no luck! Seriously, I don't know who would just order plain ice cream from Cold Stone of all places. Oh such yummy nommy goodness! Such good ice cream! It was really hot today and my boyfriend and I were in the mood for a cold sweet treat (and I had BOGO coupons too!) so we stopped by. Just walking into the place was a blessing. Just the right temperature to get out of that darned heat. The ladies behind the counter were very patient with us, and we did take our time to look at all the delicious toppings. We of course both got the "Gotta have it" sizes and paid only $6 for our $13 worth of ice cream! I have to say that the waffle cone was supper delicious, and I'm super happy that they kept it warm so it was crispy. The miss even informed us that we'd get a better deal getting three toppings with our ice cream so she could just charge us the Signature price instead of the creation price where we'd have to pay for the individual toppings. A pretty big line had formed after we got our ice cream, but I was so happy, that I whipped out my extra coupons for the BOGO (I had like 10 lol) and passed them out to all the customer that were waiting in line! Maybe I will stop by again next week and grab myself another deal before the rest of them expire Service was excellent. Place was perfect to enjoy some ice cream and cool down. We always come here and always have had a great experience ! We get ice cream cakes literally for ALL occasions even when it's cold lol! Went in on 10/28/20 to place a cake order for Halloween for my kids since we weren't going to take them trick or treating due to covid ! The girl that took my order was nice and friendly! We got a strawberry Cake with white chocolate chip and graham cracker mixed in! (Extra of both). Their cake label printer wasn't working at the moment! No biggie. We just got happy Halloween instead of pumpkin pictures! Sad to say when we cut into the Cake today there was regular chocolate chips! My kids don't like regular chocolate chips . (I know weird but they just don't like it) They left all the ice cream Cake. I didn't want to call and let them know but I had to. I paid $56 for a cake that literally is going to sit there in the freezer. No one is going to eat it. I felt very bad. I called and the young lady that answered told me her manager was going to give me a call back. He called me 30 minutes later @8:30pm. The manager apologized for the mistake. I felt bad that he probably called me after being off work! He was very professional and his priority was to make sure I was happy at the end of the day! Thank you so much! We've been customers of this cold stone for more than ten years. This is the first time I've had a bad experience with them. First off, the guy who made my ice cream, Ray, I think his name was couldn't even mix it right. There was literally a layer of toppings then the ice cream. Then when I opened up the cup later, his hair was in it. I highly suggest they wear some hair nets because this was absolutely disgusting. first horrible experience here. Definitely will go to vacaville cold stone instead. Only reason for the rating was Ray and the hair. read more

Honestly, not only do I LOVE ice cream, but I love Cold Stone in general. This is probably the Cold Stone I frequent the most often and I've never had a bad experience. Even if there's a long line the staff always seems to move pretty fast without rushing anyone. I'm that annoying person that needs to try two different flavors and then still makes the same order every time(cake batter ice cream with caramel and graham cracker pie crust, get it you won't regret it!), but no one here has ever made feel bad for trying the different flavors! We ordered an ice cream cake to be picked up by 4 pm. Went there at 7:30, waited for 15 mins, told couldn't find my order. Then told us had to provide email confirmation. 5 mins after we gave the info, they found the cake. Banana Caramel Crunch = my personal crack addiction lol. It's so good, and I love how you can package it to take home and freeze in the different size containers. German Chocolate is really great too, sometimes we create our own but mostly the signature creations are too good to pass up. Love this location in particular, even though lines are out the door it's next the Chipotle and the service is good. The ice cream is so overpriced but it's an indulgence for us. The only bad thing I seem to find with all the Cold Stone ice cream is, after it's mixed with the toppings on the cold slab, and placed into a cup/bowl, it melts SUPER fast. We have learned to order 1 ice cream of a larger size and split. It helps when two people are eating the ice cream because it's usually gone faster than the melting ratio. The great customer service is definitely what makes this cold stone stand out against other ones that I've been to in the past. As soon as we entered, we could hear people singing for every tip that went in the jar. The workers here all had big smiles on and genuinely seemed like they love serving up sweet treats for everyone. My favorite would have to be a toss up between the Oreo cookie minster (mint ice cream woth double Oreos and hot fudge) & the strawberry blonde (strawberry ice cream with strawberries, caramel, & a graham cracker crust). Both are great, but the whipped cream topping is definitely what makes them even better! Cold Stone itself has good ice cream. It's the workers that make it hit or miss. I ordered online tonight and the order was said to be ready at 8:27. I got there at 8:30 and walked to the side where they have pick up for online orders. There were 4 girls in the front and there wasn't a line. There was literally 1 group of 3 at the register, 1 group of 2 that already ordered, and 1 group of 2 waiting to order. Tell me why I'm literally standing there and one of the workers looked me dead ass in the eyes and just walked away I literally said "are you kidding me" out loud some customer service!! It's not like y'all were hella busy with a line out the door. It's not that hard to say "Hi! Are you here for pick up?" But nah all those girls looked mad af and unhappy to be there. The staff are all so easy to talk to and I love the ice cream! I usually get the cake batter ice cream with a ton of yellow cake, you should try! I have to say, on the weekends, even in winter, they're pretty busy so go in a tad earlier (who doesn't like desert first?) So you don't wait too long. During the summer they're also extremely busy as well! That just goes to show how great their customer service is, to have dedicated customers year round even in the dead of winter! They were also in the news for doing a charity of free ice cream for a "pay it forward". This location is also a great place to have your first job! I worked at this location and it taught me valuable life lessons. This isn't a biased review, I received amazing customer service even before I worked there! I love Cold Stone. In fact, I came here after a long time of craving it. I almost always get a Birthday Cake Remix. Anyway, I write this review because of my observation in tonight's customer service... It was very UNPROFESSIONAL and not very customer service like. I felt like I was in a high school quad waiting for all the class clowns to calm their asses down... And by that I mean, there was really no interaction between the person helping us other than when he asked what I wanted and when we paid. All he did was make immature, high school aged jokes with his coworkers and the customers in front of us who seemed to be around the same age... It's like... I'm here to buy ice cream, not listen to your sarcastic/immature remarks homie. And if you want to be a good at your job, you make interactions with your customer, not act as if the counter separating us is a soundproof wall where I can't here your personal and inappropriate for work conversations. I love to see that employees have fun at work, but to a point where they maintain a sense of professionalism... Every month or so, I buy the largest size of this flavor and bring it home to snack on. I feel bad to make them work with so much ice cream at a time but they always do it with a smile. Nothing gets better than having wonderful workers greet you at the front door. What I love about cold stone is their ice cream flavors and cakes! I usually come here during the winter time because it's so packed in the summer it feels like a sauna inside! The staff is not consistent when making the specialized ice cream and adding in ingredients. I paid for a mix in the only received 1 Oreo cookie, when I went the day before and received 2. My friend and I had a shopping day and we decided to get some ice cream. I had never been here before (honest to God truth), and my friend told me I had to lose my "Coldstone virginity." I couldn't decide what flavor because I'm super extra picky. I tasted a few flavors and decided with a cheesecake flavor, I believe. I looked at the mint chip and felt sick to my stomach because it was green. I used to work at an ice cream shop where the mint ice cream was white. I like my ice cream without any artificial colors. When I sampled some of them, the ice cream wasn't that tasty. They tasted cheap-ish. :( I do love, however, that you can add anything like fruit, cereal, and candy to it and they will mix it.
