Since I was quickly approaching my due date, my spouse and I decided to push up our little one's birthday party just in case I went into labor. Two weeks before the party, I called Fantasty Cakes to ask if they were available to bake a princess themed birthday cake for our little one. Thankfully, they were available and agreed to make the cake for us. Later on that same day, we stopped by to see and approve the model they had for the detailing of the cake. We agreed to bring fresh flowers in for the top of the cake and a gold crown cake topper we purchased. We dropped both items off the evening before our event. The princess birthday cake turned out nearly exactly how we wanted it. The style was elegant and they included a nice, sutle glittery sheen to the cake as well. The cake was moist, not too sweet (just how I like it), and was quite tasty. For the filling, we requested strawberries. Unfortunately, they included very little strawberries for the cake's filling. They did include a ton of fresh whipped cream more so than strawberries, which was disappointing for the amount of money we spent on the cake. Initially the customer service we experienced was pretty good. The staff seemed helpful and knowledgeable, even when we spoke on the phone. On the pick-up day, however, our multi-tiered cake was given to us in a donut box and not an actual cake box. That being said, the donut box was not closed around the cake, exposing it to the elements. My husband asked if they could place the cake in an actual cake box, but the worker said the donut box was all they had and handed it over to him. I'm very grateful for Fantasy Cakes being available to make my daughter's birthday cake on such a short notice. read more

I received a 49r Decorated birthday cake on 3/19/26 and I was shocked at the look of the cake, very amateur job and sloppy, they used an edible 49 emblem on top and a 49r emblem on the side. The topper looked like it was cut out by a toddler it was very rough and unfinished looking, they should have piped around the emblem. Located in the same shopping center as Maya Market (formerly Food Fair). Plentiful parking. Easy to find. The cakes they have on display for birthdays are beautiful! (But please do not touch). So many pastries. They seem to have a little something for everyone. From simple giant chocolate chip cookies to something a little fancier like crème brûlée or cannoli cake. The prices are good for what you get. Each little pastry was under $4. (In an economy where everything has doubled in price the past couple years this isn't bad at all!) The goods can be on the sweet side. The cannoli cake was very sweet. But pairs wonderfully with some tea. The pastries were carefully packaged. Crème brûlée did not come with a spoon so you'll have to wait to get home to eat that. They don't seem to have a full updated menu on the website so you'll have to pop in to see what they have. read more

I asked for Champagne cake (something I always order) and we received yellow cake with Custer filling. It wasn't good nor was I happy. I decided to call Fantasy Cake and the women was rude stating, their champagne cake is yellow. Haha this is actually laughable, because I know the difference. I've ordered from them SEVERAL times. Not sure who they were trying to fool. I asked for half (at least) of my money back and they declined. They are lacking in customer service AND product completion. This was my first time trying this bakery. I saw all the wonderful reviews. So, I made a trip out from Fairfield to pick up some pastries for myself and my family. I got there around 8:20 a.m. and selected 7 items in total. I love almonds so I decided that the Almond Merengue would be my dessert. I tried it and the pastry was EXTREMELY STALE. It tasted like it was several days old. GROSS!! I thought it might just be me. So, my sister tried it and confirmed that it tasted very old and expired.
