We were next in line to be served, and at 9:01 they turned all of us away and told us they could not serve anyone any longer. They had three girls working the counter, and several groups in front of us ordered lots of things that involved blenders and toppings, taking a very long time to be made. Like I said, we were inside the store and we were next to be served, and I think it's complete crap they turned us away. Cut the line off in advance of 9pm, esp cut the line at those who didn't make it into the store yet! Let's just say it was a very long and loud car ride home with two kids with nonspeaking autism who were looking forward to a dairy-free treat and were literally turned away and told no right in front of the counter! Not getting our business again, that's for sure.

The workers were nice, the Italian Ice was bussing, and the prices are affordable. After sampling many of their flavors, I decided on the Mango Italian Ice which was absolutely delicious. Then when I learned you could pair multiple flavors, I opted to get a complementary favor, Strawberry Mango. I also learned that their flavors are consistently changing, which is an added incentive for a next visit.

It's not easy to find. Their address is on Southbank Street, but it can be easy to miss it as it is behind Robek's. We were here on a Sunday around 5 p.m. The first thing I noticed was that they didn't have very many items left. The young man who was behind the counter was friendly and patient. I decided to order two lemon cupcakes and two birthday cupcakes. There were only two birthday cupcakes left, so I guess I timed it right. Four cupcakes ended up costing $18, which seems to be on the expensive side. As for the cupcakes, the lemon ones were for my husband. He thought the lemon flavoring could have been more prominent. We also noticed that the cupcakes were on the oily side. On the plus side, the cake part was very light in texture. This place is basically a take out set up, as it is small. We're not sure if we would return. If we did return, it would be for a meal in the area.
