So very disappointed. When I think cold stone, I (use to) think quality- no longer! I ordered my birthday cake 2 days ago, very excited. When I got the cake today, I couldn't help but laugh with tears in my eyes at the absolute POOR QUALITY. Mind you, this cost $40+ AND I even tipped... for what? Not only does it look sloppy, but the bottom layer of cake was completely frozen and inedible. I want to think that this may have been made by someone new, who may still be learning the ticks of the trade, but after reading some of the other reviews, I can't be so sure anymore. Sad. Don't waste your money- Walmart sells a much better ice cream cake for a quarter of the price.

Hours of operation and the employees that were there.

Wanted an ice cream their hours say 10 PM they closed at 9:50 PM. We knocked on the door they looked right at as and laughed. Didn't even care.

It was my dad's birthday, and after coming back from his birthday lunch...we HAD to stop by the ice cream store to have a proper end to the celebration. We ordered Berry Berry Berry Good Ice Cream, Strawberry Banana Rendezvous Ice Cream, Lucky Charms Ice Cream & Mint Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream...all were delicious!

Wooey strawberry ice cream. Yuk

Worst ice cream ever! I got their strawberry blonde something...the ice cream was all wooey and soft and the strawberries frozen. Never coming back to this place

[In four part harmony] Ice creeeeeam... ...... Ice creeeam...... ...............Ice creaaaaam... ......................Ice creaaaaaaaaam! Summer nights were made for ice cream, so on a particularly oppressive summer evening after the sun went down I was pleased to take a call from my brother who I'd helped earlier in the day move new patio furniture from the store to his house. I was more than pleased to accept his offer of kind repayment and we set out to Cold Stone to even the bill. It's your standard Cold Stone. Hopping at night. Lots of groups and cute couples. Since I was with my brother and his cute girlfriend I suppose we counted as a group. Which is too bad, because being a cute couple is much more fun than being the third wheel that turns said couple into a group. Why? I dunno. It just seems that way. So I belly up to the stone and order the Founder's Favorite, only it's important to sub in 50% cake batter ice cream for the base. Add some gooeyness, nuts, brownies, and I'm out the door. I wish the outside table wouldn't have stuck to my arm. That's the risk with an ice cream place. As fast as they can dish it out, the public can let it drip. So just keep up the chase after sticky spills and it would go a long way. Other than that, it was a blur of spoonful after spoonful with a brainfreeze chaser. Totally satisfied.

Visited here saturday night and the place was packed! A line almost out the door and they only had one badass employee working! Emma killed her job. She was fast, efficient, friendly, and made sure to greet everyone as they walked through the door. All while being the only employee in the store! She deserves a raise.

Store

This place is great! Well.. Emma was great, she was working by herself on a Saturday night with a line practically out the door! She was so friendly and still was greeting everyone who came though the door. Emma needs a raise!

First of all what kind of ice cream place is "out of milk"? What about those of us who drove to get a shake? Ridiculous.

Now that I have your attention and I've given you an ear worm, I'll share a story. My friends and I spent a Saturday on ísbíltúr, which is an Icelandic tradition of taking an ice cream road trip. We hit five different places around the Salt Lake valley and lived to tell about it; with only a slight stomachache. This one is a drive through with a small walk-up window and seating outside. It happened to be our last stop on our journey and was the perfect ending to our adventure! We ordered our cones at the window and then sat on the patio in the warm evening air, enjoying our final treats of the day. The patio is situated between two drive through lines, so the setting is a little unusual, but still good vibes. Blue Moo offers Blue Bell ice cream (IYKYK) and is generous in their portion sizes. There's a lovely blue cow photo op adjacent to the drive thru (logistics can be a little tricky if there are cars queuing up).

Blue Moo carries the iconic Blue Bell ice cream - a brand that isn't sold in grocery stores here in Utah. They had a great variety of flavors and each scoop comes in a cup AND a cone! We got the Oatmeal Cookie and Pistachio Almond. Both delicious! The prices were reasonable and the portions were decent. The staff were super nice and the tables outside were kept clean for those that want to stay and eat their ice cream. Can't wait to go back to try more flavors! P.s. there are a lot of Gluten Free options too!

This is a new area we are trying to get up to speed on since this now affects our daughter. This is a great option for dessert if you have this type of concern. I've been so sad that they had closed years ago. Upon seeing that they had reopened we had to get in and try my old favorite Peppermint Chocolate Spray. I craved this for so long that I was afraid it wouldn't live up to my memories. Great news though. It is exactly how I remembered and we were told the recipe hasn't changed at all. I was so happy to scratch an itch I've had for so long by finally getting my hands on this nostalgic treat. All of their ice cream and treats (rice Krispy bars)?that we got were divine. This place is absolutely worth the drive and time for such a wonderful experience. Give them a try. I promise you'll be glad you did.

It is all super fresh, not freezer burned. I haven't tried the double cone yet, but I want to since it is iconically Snelgrove. It is SO cute inside, and clean. The employees are always really helpful and patient with my toddler. I am impressed when young employees do the job well. All in all, Snelgrove is a great experience. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area. Or even if you're not, really.

What I didn't like and I'm confused by, is why do they have smoothies with whey protein powder, only! when you substitute (remove the whey and change to vegan scoop literally a substitute) for a plant-based vegan protein you get charged!!! Charged for what ?! And why?!?! $1.50 just to switch?! Rip off. please see the menu photo attached. Really doesn't make sense. Otherwise smoothie was fine. Smoothie bowl was better (pitaya!)

The staff was super nice! But definitely ran by high school students which gave it a Chik-fil-a vibe. But the food from ordering and into my hands was pretty fast! My only complaint is how loud the blenders are, they don't have covers for them to dull out the sounds. The food was good. I got an açaí bowl and my friend got toast. The açaí bowl in my opinion was pretty mid even though it was marked "customer favorite". I do like the amount you get for the price! You can also split the bowl for only $1.50. I was amazed by how many types of toast they had! The toast my friend got was smothered in a jalapeño hummus and was to die for. But my favorite part was a lot of the menu items were named after things from Utah giving it that local feel and fun aesthetic! Overall I liked this place. I'd recommend giving it a try!
