My husband and I were looking forward to using a $10 gift card that we had gotten. Little did we know that we weren't going to have the fun date night we envisioned. First of all, we waited for about 15 minutes to even be acknowledged. There were two employees there. One was doing something in the back and could only be heard (not seen), and the other one was taking her sweet time talking to the customers who were in front of us. I thought we'd be acknowledged once they got their ice cream, but instead she prioritized the online orders. Finally the other employee came out, but she worked on online orders too. We still weren't acknowledged at all. I would have appreciated if they at least said, "We'll be with you soon." We were finally able to order (no apology for the unreasonable amount of time we had to wait). My husband got his ice cream first. He went outside while I waited for mine. As soon as I joined him, he told me that he had lost his appetite for the ice cream. So did I. They overfilled the waffle bowl (we only ordered the medium size), and the ice cream was served to us MELTED. It just kept dripping out of the bowl. It was also over-mixed. We were only able to get a partial refund (we spent more than $10), because they said they don't offer refunds on the waffle bowls. I don't think I'll ever return to this location. Avoid the disappointment, and go elsewhere. I would give 0 stars if I could. read more

I received some ice cream cupcakes for my birthday and was taken back a bit when they all tasted like mint. After some investigating, we realized that the whipped cream tastes like it was made with equipment that had previously been used to mix something with peppermint. Maybe a mint ice cream or a mint whip, but it tastes like the dishes were not properly cleaned before making a regular whip. It was subtle but enough to take over the entire cupcakes. My other issue is the presentation. I would say that it looks like whoever made these needs a piping lesson but it really looks like they just need to care a little more. Grateful for the person who ordered these cakes for me and I will definitely enjoy them still but the makers definitely need some work. I've been dying to leave a review about this place regarding how unprofessional their staff is towards both employees and customers. Customers can hear everything, and yet the owner does nothing about it. The women who call themselves managers are extremely unprofessional and disrespectful. They send messages that look like a child wrote them, use profanity and racial slurs, and make people feel worthless. They're lazy and speak down to teenagers. I have all the screenshots from their work chats, but they're so disgusting I won't even share them. In the last two months, they've fired around 15 people, and 10 more have quit. They illegally dock pay--if an employee doesn't show up for a shift, regardless of the reason, they drop the hourly rate from $12.00 to $8.25. This is illegal and will be reported to the Better Business Bureau. The health inspector will have a field day here. There's mold under the stone and in the walk-in fridge. Do not order cakes from here; they're old and expired! They also have minors working well past 10:00 PM, which violates labor laws. My son once worked until 1:30 AM on a Sunday. I wanted to say something, but he asked me not to, so I just made sure he doesn't work Sundays evenings anymore. My daughter worked there for almost two years and finally had enough and quit. I ordered the smallest size, but the young lady gave me a huge portion. I got it in a waffle bowl again too. It was really yummy. I should've had fudge added in too, but it was delicious without it. The store was pretty clean & the service was ok. There's so much to choose from, so you may want to research before you go to avoid being overwhelmed. Lol. Just about the worst experience I've had at a cold stone, two nights in a row my husband has asked for a banana milkshake, doesn't require much, milk, vanilla ice cream and bananas - both times they had an excuse as to why they couldn't make it - running out of milk or dirty blenders....the first night I had gotten a love it size of my order that they filled to the very top of the lid they place, the second night I thought I'd ask for a larger size but the amount they put in the cup could've perfectly fit in the smallest cup they have. If you're looking for quality ice cream, this is your place. I much prefer coming here to say Dairy Queen, Cookout, or Sonic because the quality of the creations here (taste and presentation) just can't be beat. The "Hot Stone" desserts are to die for, especially the "Churro Caramel Crave". The "No Fair Funnel Cake" is a close second. As far as the signature creations go I love to get the "Peanut Butter Cup Perfection". Essentially no matter what I order here it always turns out good. It's pretty pricey here, but worth every penny. Every time I come to this location, the staff is nice and friendly, there is rarely a wait, and the establishment is clean. I love coming to the 21st location because the staff are awesome & the service is quick. I usually order their birthday cake remix in a "love it" size. The birthday cake remix includes brownie, fudge, rainbow sprinkles, and birthday cake ice cream. If you aren't a fan of rich & creamy ice cream, I wouldn't suggest any of their "signature" items. In total, I ended up paying around $6 for the love it size. It's definitely on the pricer side, but the quality of the ice cream makes it worth every penny! They offer military discount, but I'm not too sure what days or times this occurs on. They also offer smoothies & cakes. I've never tried either, but will in the future! Went to cold stone for the ice cream day promotion. The whole point of the promotion is to get people to sign up for the rewards system so they get money off. Once we created the account, we got to the register and tried to get money off as promised, however the workers informed me that our number wasn't coming up, and they couldn't give us the promotion. After this, I explained that if we have an account and it's not coming up then it's a problem with the system, not with my account. They refused to give us the money off because "the account was new". Very disappointed in the treatment we had to deal with. Will not be returning to this location. read more

The kids inside have always been polite and friendly and the wait has never been too long for me. I love Cold Stone - their ice cream is soooo creamy and delicious. My favorite is the banana caramel crunch with vanilla cream ice cream, fresh bananas, almonds and caramel. It's sooo goooood! The bananas add a little freshness to it and i usually ask them to put a little whipped cream on top. It's good stuff.
