I'd give no star if I could. This employee named Julie was very rude. Grayson was making our ice cream for us, which included two ingredient substitutions due to my allergies. I let him know of my substitution request PRIOR to him making my ice cream and he agreed. While he was making our ice cream, she intervened saying that a customer cannot get more than two substitutions without being charged. Well, I only asked for two. Then she said no more than one sub and I should get charged if I want more after he had added 3 out of my 4 ingredients. Because she was making her case, my ice cream was all melted by the time I received mine. And guess what? I've been ordering the same thing since 2003 and NO ONE has ever had an issue. She should not be in customer service. What a terrible experience. read more

Staff and space- We received a meh greeting and the worker couldn't give me any specific differences between the sweet cream and the French vanilla flavors. (Tastes like French vanilla is a pretty lame answer.) But the place looked neat and clean. We ordered two creations. The first was loaded with mini chocolate chips, three bites of cookie dough, caramel and fudge mixed into the French vanilla. Flaw: the worker left some of my serving on the slab. Hum. I should have asked why he didn't put all if it in my bowl. Maybe he wanted a bit for himself. It was that or scrape it into the garbage. I found the chocolate chips a bit hard. I prefer the softer ones, like the Tillamook ice cream. I wished I'd just ordered a small because the medium was a bit much, and after eating half, too sweet. The other creation we ordered included chocolate ice cream with brownies and chocolate chips. I tried to like the chocolate ice cream. I gave it an honest chance. But it was bland. My husband wished he had ordered those mix-ins in vanilla instead. The bowls of ice cream or frozen yogurt run from $6.50-$8 a serving. Each additional mix-ins cost another dollar each. It's a bit much, but they do have an array of choices for a splurge. Ice cream cakes cost anywhere from $30 to $60. read more

The attendant didn't know what that was and I told him the components of it and ended up nixing the strawberries. The utensils used were dirty and unwashed with remnants of previous creams. He lazily folded in yellow cake and whipped cream. I hastily left to enjoy my bounty. When I got to the car I saw that the "mixing-in" was less than sub par. The yellow cake was so stale it had a chalky taste. So very disappointed with this location of my favorite ice cream chain. read more

We came here with my parents on a Saturday night around 630. The employees all seemed like they wanted to be literally anywhere else and there were a bunch of signs all over saying 'no shoplifting' which was a weird vibe for an Ice Cream shop. The queue in the store took up basically the whole lobby but that didn't really matter because there weren't any chairs or tables out. We ordered and they put our ice creams directly into cups and we had to ask for each one to have something mixed in and then ask for cones. My husband didn't even get his mixed in, they just put an oreo on top of the ice cream like a hat and my Dad's cone was just placed on top of his ice cream which was already in a cup. My husband still tipped and they didn't sing? I thought that was Coldstone's thing? Either way, I was distracted trying to figure out how my toddler was going to eat ice cream with no chairs or tables available. But as you can see from the picture, it says buy one and get one of lesser value for free. This is terrible customer service and would never go here again. I pretty much ended up only getting buy one getting the other one half off instead of the advertised BOGO deal. I'm not sure if it was the French vanilla ice cream itself, or maybe the caramel syrup, but something made it taste kind of like when you leave ice cream in the freezer for too long and it gets gummy. The workers were wonderful when I walked in, let me pick a cake, and quickly put "happy birthday" on the cake, all in less than 5 minutes when they were suppose to be closed! But the line went fast, customer service was great, everyone had a mask and everything looked cleaned and well stock on everything... overall, cant wait to m next visit.. Asked if they could make the cake tomorrow and the lady complainingly responded "what time, you said over and over on the phone mint chip". I really like Cold Stone, but I find it highly priced. I usually come here for their strawberry cheesecake overload, or anything with strawberries. I usually get their like-it's, since it's the smallest, but also the most logical to eat. The others are huge sizes that can feed at least 2-3 people... so I just settle for the like-it's. I love how they make their own ice cream, and how they mix it in front of you. They also make their own waffle cones, and everything else. They are lovely, friendly, and sing when you tip them in dolla, dolla bills ya'll. The only downfall is that they charge you crazy expensive. I rarely ever come here, but when I do, I am never disappointed. This location is small, barely fits 20 people here. Expect crazy lines and busy crowds during HOT days! read more

The two employees that mixed our ice cream talked amongst each-other while we were trying to order. They were of a younger age so I gave them the benefit of the doubt in not learning good customer service yet, but it would have been nice to have been asked for my order rather than needing to break conversation between employees. I love the banana ice cream. That's what keeps me coming back. Banana ice cream with strawberries, graham crackers and whipped cream on top. I get the same thing every time. Everyone here was pretty friendly, even though the line was incredibly long. The line moved quickly! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5, is because I hate that I have to pay over $5 for 1 scoop of ice cream. I wish there were more of these around! Anytime we're in Tukwila for dinner, we tend to end up here for dessert, since there's never been an ice cream flavor of theirs that we haven't loved. There's hardly ever a crazy line, and the staff is always very friendly. On this visit, I got myself a large cup of a Coffee/Sweet Cream mix, and added chocolate chips. I switched out my usual chocolate for the sweet cream. It was definitely good, but next time, I think I'll pass on the sweet cream and go back to my coffee/chocolate mix. I came here and made a few orders. I walked in and received no "Welcome to Cold Stone" greeting. All I heard was the following: "What would you like?" What next? What next? What next? What next?" The girl making the ice cream was very unfriendly and pushy. She made no attempt to even hint at a smile or kind word. "What next" made me feel as if she was handing out free ice cream to a homeless person. She didn't even indicate that crafted ice cream was on the menu. Due to this, only 2 of my 6 orders were crafted. 4 were just scoops of ice cream in a bowl. I was lucky to get the one free topping for each; all shoved into the bowls. Upon checkout, the middle-aged Asian gentleman was very friendly and jovial. It seems that he noticed how the mean-demeanored girl treated me. Because of him, I upped the stars to 2 stars. I would've given this place ZERO stars due to the girl's bad attitude. One last thing, the ice cream was delicious as always.
