I received a gift card for this place, thought I'd give it a try. I'm always looking for alternative coffee shops for a relaxing cup, maybe some food, someplace I can read or work on the laptop. This place was crowded and crazy loud, confusing to navigate for newbs like me. I spent about 5 minutes trying to figure out how to use the gift card on the ordering kiosk with no success. Between that and the noise going on, I figured it wasn't worth it and I left. Maybe I'll try again sometime but if you're looking for peace, I don't think this is the place for you. read more

They aren't your average coffee shop ~ you can get greek yogurt soft-serve of any size with your favorite toppings AND coffee to energize your day! The menu items I was very interested in were the yogurt sandwiches and lemonade espresso. Pictured is the Latte and Lemonade Espresso ~ now, lemme tell you about this Lemonade Espresso! I saw the drink on yelp and I just had to try it out of curiosity~ it was ... interesting?? LMAO it's best to mix the espresso layer with the lemonade to get the unique combination of rich bitterness with sweet and sour! I find this as a perfect drink for warmer days! My husband and I recently took a day trip over to NoVA and happened upon this hidden gem!! From the outside, standard strip mall look, you would never guess that the inside is as spacious as it is! We got an almond croissant, the ultimate breakfast sandwich, chipotle chicken BLT, a butterscotch iced latte, and a caramel frappe, all of which was phenomenal!! Decided to stop by Sunday afternoon for a quick caffeine fix. It was ok. The iced matcha latte was slightly watery. Too much unmixed matcha at the bottom for me. The raisin pastry was flaky and full of raisins. It was slightly smaller than what I expected. Plenty of seating and great lighting. Definitely will have to try the soft serve next time! Wish this place was in my hometown! Unfortunately I'm just visiting, but this is a great stop for a solid latte. I haven't had anything else (it seems to be known for its frozen yogurts too), but I've had a golden black milk latte twice now (charcoal, lavender. Once with oat milk, once with whole). It's lovely in its balance. Not too sweet, not burnt, nice microfoam. Both days the same guy made it for me, and he's incredibly friendly and kind, and definitely makes a great latte. There's a full menu of coffee and espresso drinks ranging from noir to breve, cortados, and cold brew... And blended coffees as well. And teas, if you're into that sort of thing :) (But the tea menu isn't nearly as extensive as the coffees.) They have a wall of frozen yogurts, including self-serve machines and options to build your own yogurt bowl. They also have smoothies, two options for toasts, a small selection of pastries (like bakery croissants and muffins) and some sandwiches on their menu (breakfast and lunch). It's a smaller store, but it's been quiet both days I've been here to do some work. It has about 8 tables inside, but most can hold 4 or more people. There are some seats outside as well. Just wish they stayed open past 5pm! Anyway, the latte is delicious, and service is super friendly. When I'm back in the area, I'll stop here again. My first impression was that it was a very cute place! The interior leverages earth tones to create a homey feel; wooden beams decorated with dangling plants and a photo wall with crocheted flowers and bees. We like to order one yogurt and sandwich together and started off with Fresas de Leche. The strawberries were diced in such away that they were very easy to spoon. I think the granola was superb, and I liked the inclusion of nuts with a natural saltiness and crunch to balance well with the sweetness of the yogurt. The granola sits on the bottom of half of the container, so that's something to note when you are scooping bites. For the sandwich portion, we got grilled chicken and bacon. I think when eating it fresh, it's really good. The bread is toasted enough to give it a proper firmness that makes holding and eating it as less messy as possible. The dijon is not excessively added, so you can still focus on the freshness of the lettuce and tomatoes and onions. The meat was not dry. Clean and vibrant with a modern and hip feel. The combination of a yogurt and coffee place works well and caters to both family's with kids and friendly meetups. The drinks are standard - nothing extra ordinary - and the place could be more spacious to give it a complete cafe (virtual work, meet and greet feel). However, as a frozen yogurt place, Coldspoon is excellent. As a coffee cafe though it is average; together though, mixed with its vibe, this place deserves a visit or two. They offer specialty blended coffees, house-made fresh Greek yogurt, frozen Greek yogurt, pastries, fresh juice and smoothies. Indoor seating is available. The shop is neat and organized. Absolutely love the concept of Coffee and Greek Yogurt cafe. It's well executed and thought out. In their extensive menu, they have create your own Greek yogurt bowl, signature creations, some breakfast choices, self serve frozen yogurt, coffee, juice, smoothies as well. The employee who assisted us was very patient. We had a few questions plus were indecisive. We decided on the signature creations from the parfait menu. Both bowls were amazing: Figs & Seed and Very Berry. If I had to order just one I would order the Figs & Seed one again. In drinks, I ordered the season's favorite: pumpkin spice latte and my friend Shazi ordered green tea. This was late breakfast for us after a work out class and it was very fulfilling. I always enjoy going to coffee shops and was excited to see that this was a coffee/froyo/parfait shop. When you first walk in, the place is really well decorated. It's very trendy and modern, but somehow still cozy. I'm not sure if the owner was working at the time, but the gentleman that helped me was really sweet and friendly. I had a really tough decision to make since all of the parfaits looked amazing. They also have a non-dairy (coconut) yogurt option for those who can't stomach regular milk. I ended up choosing the fresas de leche parfait and some froyo. The cool thing about the froyo is that they charge you by size and not weight, so bring on those toppings! I've had similar tasting froyo so would probably not get that again, but the standout was definitely the parfait. The homemade plain yogurt was so fresh and creamy. 1st time today for breakfast and coffee. I tried the Lindog Fog, which is an espresso drink but with lavender. It's like a cross between coffee and tea. I also had cappucino. That one was a disappointment. I asked for dry, and it wasn't. The espresso was not strong. I had a breakfast sandwich with egg and ham on a croissant to eat. The prices are a little bit pricey but everything was good and the staff was nice. A big part of the shop is the yogurt. You can order specific bowls or create one. Their yogurt is really good, no complaints whatsoever about the quality of their product. Lots of options, friendly staff, who could ask for anything more? Coffee was standard, I didn't get anything fancy so didn't expect to be impressed and I wasn't (not a bad thing) The issue is that it's pretty expensive, which you can understand since they make their yogurt in house but the portion sizes also feel like they've gotten smaller too. The favorite was definitely matcha, followed closely by the taro. I usually love tart, but these flavors were so good, and not too sweet. I am not a fan of yogurt especially really tart ones, and unfortunately theirs was more tart. I'm glad they let me sample so i knew. But good thing they have frozen yogurt for a sweeter option. I haven't seen a coffee shop + frozen yogurt place before, so this concept is pretty cool! This place offers a full coffee menu, some non-coffee drinks, self-serve frozen yogurt, yogurt parfaits, pastries, and breakfast/lunch sandwiches! It's cutely decorated and there is a section of seating that has a UV light to kill germs. There are two kiosks by the door where you can place an order, or you can order at the cashier the good old fashioned way. I got the berry yogurt bowl with granola, which was sweet, refreshing, and nicely balanced. I got an iced latte with simple syrup (which was free!). The other syrups like vanilla, hazelnut, etc are at an additional charge. The coffee is good and flavorful - and you're able to choose your sweetness level. We checked out Coldspoon Coffee with a high expectation given the average of all five-star reviews on Yelp. I guess I went with too much of a high expectation as it didn't fully deliver for me. I loved the concept of blending coffee shop with speciality yogurts, and meeting the needs of little ones by having froyo available. And the interior was comforting and can sense that a lot of thought went into planning out each aspect of the decor. The coffee...or the Americano was pretty good. They do have typical coffee drinks available as well as some seasonal ones that are non-coffee based. However, being a coffee snob I always get either drip or Americano to taste the "rawness" of the coffee itself without mixing anything to taper the original taste of the bean. Having to say all this, the Americano was probably the best of the the three items we got today. The froyo was really just average. Some flavors really had the artificial taste (e.g. raspberry pomegranate) and the Belgium chocolate didn't have any deep, rich chocolatey flavor. All in all, the taste of the froyo flavors were disappointing; however, I did like the available toppings. The greek yogurt was okay as well--I got the Fresas de Leche and there really wasn't anything special about it, and was slightly disappointed. The idea and the concept is fantastic; however, I wish the taste was just as promising. Side Note: 1. They apparently have UV lights hanging on the ceiling to help with disinfecting the tables and booths, which was pretty unique. 2. You do get to choose unlimited amount of froyo and toppings in the given cup at a set price. The cup is on the smaller side, but that's understandable given the uniqueness of having to get unlimited amount of yogurt, etc. 3.
