I have never been to a place like this so I didn't know what to expect, but it was a really fun place to spend a Friday night! The bar downstairs serves BYOB alcohol and considering how many people there were at the bar I was really amazed how they were able to keep track of everybody's alcohol! My eighteenth birthday party started at an all nude strip club, I even danced that night and got a job there, then to swingers club. That night was epic and forever burned into my brain as a great birthday. I attended this club with a couple I met in New Orleans on Swingers Date Club. (SDC). It's a private club and there is always some paperwork and fees involved. My dates handled most of this. I really enjoyed the layout and the atmosphere was highly sexual and festive. Everyone was having a great time. It was byob so if you go, take your own alcohol. Mixers like soda etc were provided. We spent the evening getting to know one another in-between playtime. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the atmosphere was amazing. Many lifestyle clubs tend to be cliquey especially for new people who have never been there before. Not here. Love this place! Went on a Saturday night for the first time while vacationing in New Orleans. Great lifestyle club first time my wife and I had ever been to one it was an amazing experience we will be back

Not impressed with this club at all! Showed up with a group of 5 couples and 3 single females. It was a glow theme night. And we all were dressed extra sexy and had all our glow outfits on. We all had already purchased our tickets and were all previously approved on our applications for this club. Two of the men in our group were wearing fun glow outfits. One of which was a button up shirt and short glow matching combo and the other a nice silk jumpsuit. They were told they could not come in because they were out of dress code.... Manager came out and saw how big and attractive our group was and decided to let us all in after all. But made sure to make it clear that we had to tip the door girl. ( apparently this was non optional) even tho we had already paid our membership/ and tickets $. This was most of our groups first time being in a club like this. So one offered a tour or any guidance what so ever. We stood around for a while with our hands full of our stuff until we made our way up the very dark steep stairs to the upstairs area where we found some lockers to put our belongings in. There were no changing rooms and the tiny women's bathroom only had one working stall. The only plus I could say was that towels were provided which was nice because there was no staff changing sheets or cleaning up anything. I have to say it was pretty gross how wet and dirty everything was. Luckily it was so dark probably to try to hide how disgusting the place was. Been to clubs in other cities. My wife was not really into another one, but agreed to give it a try. She/we really enjoyed ourselves and wants to go back when we visit again. It could just be us, but we had always found pressure at other places to go too far beyond our comfort zone (in spite of every place saying they don't allow that). We found no one invaded our space, no one grabbed or groped invasively. We invited some contact at a level we wanted and it was not abused. Firstly, full disclosure I had no idea this was a swingers club! My review is ONLY of the first floor. I was referred to Colette by the concierge at the Aloft Hotel whom mentioned that this venue was a BYOB club/lounge. I thought that was brilliant! 15$ for a bottle of wine and off we went to check in. We paid 20$ cover possibly per person (we went there around 2 am-could explain the discount compared to 80$/per person). I had to sign a disclosure (in my head I thought they were going to email us a receipt for paying cover like square functions). I know you're thinking I am naive, right? Yes, probably. I thought the main floor was great! spacious seating with leather seats, friendly bar staff (ask for Destiny she is amazing!) and good music. After I left the place, when I looked it up I realized there is a whole second floor for "other meeting purposes. Did I go up? no. Did I see anything weird? no. I liked the first floor it was fun, but I am not into swingers-nice coincidental experience but not my thing. The atmosphere was strange, quiet, weird spa music, and made me feel as if I was doing something bad (not the good kind of bad). The dress code was all over the place; super duper casual (tank top and shorts), Sunday brunch / church clothes, and one lady had on a sexy evening gown. Let me start by saying I ended up with a great experience bc of the amazing woman and her partner who participated fully with a few folks, so this isn't sour grapes. But the overall crowd is pretty tame. I admittedly arrived a little early around 1030, and since I was traveling alone went as a single man wo my long time play partner. The crowd was all at the bar downstairs. About 10-15 couples and 6 or 7 single guys. No one was talking to each other. I introduced myself to a few couples, only one of which was nice enough to chat for a bit. Upstairs, there was literally zero going on at the point. About 15 minutes after I arrived, a crowd of about 5 couples who all clearly knew each other moved to the dance floor downstairs. I walked up to them and offered a drink. They spoke with me a bit but basically had no interest in anyone but themselves. As it got a little after 11, a few couples went upstairs, while most were still at the bar. Those who went upstairs just sat down in the library or roamed in the halls with the singles. Thankfully, that lovely miss and her guy had started with another in one of the rooms along the hallway, and kept the curtain open for folks to see. I watched from outside the room for a couple of minutes until I asked to join, and proceeded to have a great 30 minute or so session with them while a few singles and couples continued to watch. When I left thereafter, about 1145, those couples were still standing in the hall, the "hometown crowd" was still in the library, and most of the original couples were still at the bar. So no other action, in a lifestyle club, at almost midnight. This place needs a more lifestyle vibe. Fewer couches and less walls upstairs to create a more open feeling and larger, accessible play spaces. And the hometown crowd has to get over itself. They weren't good looking, friendly, or, apparently, actually into doing what the club is there for. read more

Nice Place! It is somewhat expensive to get in. My wife and I went for the first time on a Saturday night. Single males are not allowed at that time. We paid $80 as a couple plus a few tips here and there. We brought a bottle of wine as it's BYOB. There is no sign on the door, and if you don't know where you are going, you'll walk right by it. The staff was extremely nice. We got a quick tour of the place and the hostess answered all of our questions. The downstairs is like any other high end club. Loud music, lights, a bar, seating areas. There's a stripper pole. Some art work. Generally classy. Most people downstairs were just drinking, dancing, and talking. There were a few women walking around in bra and panties type attire. Men were dressed very nice in collared shirts. I saw virtually no jeans, T-shirts, or tennis shoes. The upstairs is wild. Be prepared. Colette provides towels and a few lockers (bring your own lock). There is only 1 female bathroom and 1 male bathroom with a shower. Sometimes there was a line, but not terribly long. There's a library room with several leather couches. There was a handful of people here having sex. Yes, you read it correctly. Blow jobs, cowgirl, doggie style, right there in front of everyone. There was a large theater room with more couches and more people having sex. There's a handful of rooms with a sheer curtain so you can watch, wait for it, people having sex. There's another room with a huge round bed and one way mirrors. You can stand in the hallway and watch through the one way glass at, you guessed it, people having sex. The "orgy room" had 2 large beds, but we were advised not to stand in the door way and watch people having sex because that would block the fire escape. ha ha ha There was also a lot of couples just standing around watching others. Free show!!! ha ha ha We watched for a while, and then we had sex. And guess what, people watched us. Yep. We did it. It was fun. The DJ was pretty bad. I think I heard 1 song the whole night that I recognized, but it wasn't that important. The porn shown in the theater room wasn't very female friendly, but that was no big deal either. All in all, we had a great time. We partied to 3 AM (they close at 4). Went back to the hotel and.....had more sex. read more

After some bar hoping and dancing we went to hustler and got some lingerie to go with the theme. We got to the club a little early which was probably a good thing. They staff were super cool and very professional. They showed us all the rooms and went through the rules. We brought our own bottle of vodka. Interesting weekend. we decided to try 2 nights in a row at Club Collette. Friday night they allow single men and that was a true semi-weird experience. the men are some what like vulchers but most women who attend on Friday are into 'crowds' shall we say? Saturday was couples only and a low turn out. You make these places to be good by your own activity level so we have seen better but Saturday was pretty lame. Visit: 05/26/2017 So we usually do not do repeat reviews. Actually we've never done a repeat review of anywhere. But it has been some years since our first and last and only visit to Colette New Orleans; plus that visit ended with an orgy of myself, three other lovely ladies (shout out to Robyn, Shannon, and Natalie), and Kristian, so the whole night and experience was a little skewed. But last night we were able to see the club in all of its glory again like it was the first time and we loved it. The club is located just two blocks from Canal St. in the French Quarter. Security is standing outside with a velvet rope and red carpet, so it was very easy to find. It was a Friday, so the theme was Pantiless Fridays and since we dressed to theme that meant $20 off of the door fee which was nice. Once you pay, you enter through the door way to your left and into the club. Once inside you are immediately in the downstairs social area: to your left you have a long couch that fits about 12 people, two semi circle white couches with tables and stools, as well as the stairs that take you up stairs. To the right there is another couch that fits about 6 people. As you walk forward there is a long high top bar table with 10 seats in the middle of the room with the bar to the left and three high top individual tables for two to the right against the wall. Also in the same area to the right against the wall that separates the dance floor and social area (which is literally the only thing we could think of that we did not like) is another 10 person couch. The tall and lovely Shea Butter was behind the bar when we were there and she was amazing. Mixers are free minus bottles of water for $2 and Red Bull for $5, but they had free water as well. The dance floor was a little small and had a couple small lounge couches on it on the right corner with a couple small tables. There's a stripper pole on a slightly elevated stage centered on the dance floor against the wall with the entry to the bathrooms to the left of it and the DJ in the left corner. I don't think we heard a song we did not like or could not dance to all night. Then we ventured upstairs and you have two options on how you get upstairs: the steep and narrow staircase (that is amazing for stairwell going up pictures by the way) or the elevator. We used both since we made multiple trips. Once upstairs you have a hallway basically that makes up the play area. When you go up the steps and turn right, this way will take you to the infamous library/study that has four leather couches. Connected to the library and through a door is the theater room with porn projected on the TV as well as four love seats. When you exit either room and go down the hallway, to your left there are four rooms with full beds in them (these rooms have the option to be open which means the curtains aren't closed, semi private with the sheer curtains drawn, and private with the black curtains pulled shut). On the right side of the hallway are two small private rooms with doors that close and lock, twin beds, and small TVs showing porn. Also on the right is a voyeur room that has a circular bed in it with a one way plexiglass mirror where on lookers can see in, but those in the room can not see out. There are also two benches in the room as well. Then at the end of the hallway and around the corner is the group/orgy room with two full sized beds pushed together and a liberator chair. This is a stay and play or be on your way room; no spectating, only participating. All of the mattresses are waterproof for the squirters and there is a towel attendant each night, plus each room has condoms and sanitizer.. Last night we had the pleasure of meeting Tina who was the attendant for the evening. Upstairs also has two social/lounge areas: one in the hallway with a ten seated couch and another just across from one of the private rooms with a six seater couch. Also at the end of the hall located close to Tina and the towels are lockers and two bathrooms: a unisex bathroom with a shower and a female only bathroom. We really had a great time and thank you again to Jess for giving us a tour and the absolutely gorgeous Monica for just being her! We can't wait to go back in July. read more

I gave an extra star because we met a really great couple. However....I was really surprised how many single men were in the bar. I've been to a few lifestyle clubs and usually single men have a designated bar area and aren't allowed to join a couple at the tables or sofas unless asked. As for the upstairs areas, normally only couples are allowed to enter. At least you have to have a woman with you if you're a man. We entered a bedroom with another couple and had a great time but there were creeper single dudes pulling the curtain aside to look in every couple minutes. One guy literally stepped in and stood at the end of the bed. We kind of asked him to go behind the curtain and five minutes later he was entering from one of the side bedrooms. Then we went to the main room where there is an open round bed and there's 3 or 4 single dudes just hovering around watching the "show". My hubby and I were on our honeymoon in NOLA July 7-10 and decided to stop in and check out the club. I must say I was rather disappointed. The DJ was terrible, and as anyone knows they really create the vibe. I was literally falling asleep. All he played was techno dance music.
