Needed a coffee, so stopped by. I usually just order a black drip coffee, but was excited to stay somewhat different. Coconut dulce latte. I was pleasantly surprised, very good. My wife got the hand squeezed OJ. Super friendly staff. Plenty of tables and seats inside and outside. We might return and try the cinnamon roll or breakfast sandwich. Stuff smelled great!

Collab Cafe is a super cute surf cafe in Kapaa, Kaua'i. Serving fresh and locally sourced food collab cafe is a great choice for something healthy! The shop was opened by two friends who started the business together, hence the name "Collab" The service is super friendly and personable and the food is even more delicious. I ordered the brisket sandwich and macnut cold brew. I thought the sandwich and coffee was great. The coffee was not too sweet and had a slightly nutty flavor. The brisket sandwich is good as well. It was pretty filling, but I feel like it would've been bitter with a guava barbecue sauce for instance. The thick cut bacon was absolutely phenomenal. The shakshouka was good but a little bit heavy on the tomato. (I know it's in the base sauce but still) the Collab breakfast sammie was also really yummy. If you happen to be hanging out on the shores of Wailua I definitely recommend grabbing a bite at this cute little cafe.

As a little treat for myself, I decided to forgo a black coffee for something different. The Black Salt Latte was well worth every calorie. Not too sweet, with dark chocolate and a flavor boost from the salt. A great latte... I would have had another! Very very highly recommend!

Love coming to Collab whenever I am in town and Outpost Coffee is one of the best in the island! This location is excellent and the food is delicious! The mushroom toast subbed with the mac nut pesto is the way to go! They are always super friendly and the service is super fast. We sat in front of the coffee roaster which when running is an awesome experience! The location is cute and has an outdoor area as well. My buddy knows the owner Ben and we were chatting with him while he prepared beans for packaging. He's really nice and has tons of pro tips if you want to start your own coffee tree farm (one day...). If you haven't been here before or tried Outpost Coffee you are missing out!

First day on the island I was just striking out on my food and bev spots, but today I'm nailing it! The mushroom toast here with the chili crunch, pea shoots, and I sub'd in MacNut pesto on the recommendation of the fabulous woman working the register, was just sublime. Much needed healthy good food that was better than some of the better brunch spots I have been to in NYC. Charming, bright ambiance, quick service! Quality food!!! Can't wait to try more things on their menu.

All the local food here has really been incredible, but man this place stands out! We got the black salt mochas (incredible)the eggs benny with house made spam (fantastic) and on the way out I got the macadamia nut cookie which literally blew me away. The cookie stole the show! I can't recommend this place enough!

Delicious and Sweet!! The best avocado toast I've had on Kauai!! The side order of smoked bacon is a must. Cute and family friendly. Service is great and fairly quick.

This place is phenomenal. The honey citrus toast is somehow a 50/50 bar as a breakfast toast - and it's such a wild combo. Had a regular latte and it was also top tier. Poached eggs are A++. Hard to imagine not coming here every day - it's that good.

I found this place by accident and I wish I found it sooner! (It happened to be our last day womp womp) The shop itself is clean, simple, and cute. There's indoor seating and a good-sized raised patio outside. It's the perfect place to get some work done, read a book, or just hang out with a friend. We got the matcha latte and Mac nut latte and they were both SO GOOD. I would get both again, highly recommend. The barista (who may have been the owner?) helped with recommendations when we trying to choose between a couple items. We didn't get any food but everything looked so tasty. I can't wait to go back.

I LOVED this new spot working hard to give life to the old Waipoulli Foodland shopping complex. It's a "collab" of three formerly separate businesses now working together to complement one another under a single roof. The hours are a bit tricky for now but the place has the potential to be a morning-to-night business if they can build the clientele. Fingers crossed. I popped in as they were getting set to close so just opted for a simple brewed coffee. I ordered mine black which meant that I could really taste the delicious coffee. The beans were slightly sweet, medium bodied, lightly roasted in house by one of the partner businesses, Outpost Coffee Kauai, which I think also supplies their larger cafe operation up in Hanalei. The breakfast toasts and bread loaves looked great though I had weird timing and neither would have worked for me during this particular visit. I will get both on my next trip to the garden isle. Nice outdoor seating, too, when you have time to lounge. Plus super friendly people who are eager to share their vision for the business and for reinvigorating this stretch of Kapaa. I wish them the best of luck. Check this place out!

Good variety of baked goods and breakfast food. A variety of toast like avocado and orange. We tried the BLT breakfast sandwich and it was the thickest slices of bacon I have very had. The mochas we ordered were delicious. Gracious service. We ate outdoors and enjoyed the show the from the roosters and the morning rain.

I can't remember exactly which poke varieties we got, but I believe one was their shoyu poke and the other was a spicy ahi. Regardless, everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. This is exactly the kind of mom-and-pop spot I love finding while traveling. No frills, just friendly people serving great food at reasonable prices. The poke was fresh, the karaage was flavorful, and the lau lau was tender and comforting. The staff was welcoming, the portions were generous, and the prices were fair, especially considering the quality of the food. There are plenty of places to eat on Kauai, but spots like this are what make a trip memorable. We'll definitely be back the next time we're on the island.

Nothing special or unique about burgers, pizza, and doughnuts. Thus, having "100% Local" and "Quality over quantity" garishly marketed on their building- constitutes as fraud as far I am concerned. What exactly is "local" about this business? Certainly not the ingredients- nor are the business owners. What exactly makes the coffee "Hawaiian"? Certainly not the coffee beans. What makes it "quality"? Fruity pebble lucky charm marshmallow donut? This business does not support or benefit the local farmers or the health of the local people. But they will use shady marketing and gladly accept the money of the naive and gullible. This building has the ambience of a laser-tag arena, and I wish the county would make them paint over the hideous artwork. It stands out like a giant tacky billboard on the side of the highway.
