First time at this BbQ place, and it will not be my last- We weren't sure what to order so we ordered the meat sampler plate, plus smoked ranch beans. My husband and I shared the meal, and we have enough for dinner tonight! The sausage had good flavor, with a slightly different consistency due to it being turkey. It was cooked perfectly and we both snarfled it down. Next was pulled pork, which was really good; perfectly moist, with great flavor from the smoker and spices used. Normally I don't eat pulled pork, but I kept grabbing bites of it because it was so good. I love beef brisket, and always judge a bbq place by their brisket. This was amazing- The best brisket I've had in Arizona, for sure. Nice thick slices (which I love), and super moist, with a silky mouthfeel from just the right amount of fat on each slice, plus some smokiness, to boot. I loved every bite! I didn't even try the smoked turkey because I was gorging myself on that sublime brisket, but I will make a sandwich tonight for sure! They have 7 different sauce types, and I loved "desert heat". It was slightly sweet, with a great tang and just a bit of heat. Perfect for every meat I dunked in! A late night pit stop that doesn't disappoint!! Bring your boots and cowboy hat this spot has all the charm of a local western hang out. The menu has so many delicious options! I couldn't resist the fish & chips this time. We decided to pop a squat at the bar. With sports on TV and great 80's music you can't beat this vibe. Tending Bar was Ryann. Surprisingly busy for a Wednesday evening I was very impressed with how effortlessly she handled multiple customers and drink orders. Well they're closed! I'm not surprised that it is however I didn't think it would be for the egregious charges!! The quality was going down for a couple of years now and yes it was touristy but everyone will find other places to eat in Prescott. I really couldn't decide what I wanted so I went all in for the sampler platter, and a side of three ribs, can I say, oink, oink. I have to tell you I was a disappointed with the sausage, turkey, pulled pork, brisket, and the options of sauces were fabulous. I had a drink there called the "patriot". Sally made it. I loved Sally and Jonny. what a team if I was ever to open up my own place, I would have to steal them. Six of us came for a late lunch. I was really looking forward to trying the place and hopefully having some great BBQ The place looks nice enough, a bit funky and yet upscale. It seems like you have to order at the counter, and there was a line... although it said "take out", so a bit confusing. No one greeted us so we sought out a table. I kept hearing about this place and finally had a chance to stop by when I was in the area. I came down for work and stopped during lunch so it wasn't busy. Service was very fast and friendly. And the setting in the restaurant was very comfortable. Now on to the barbecue, I ordered the large platter of most brisket with a side of potato salad. This brisket was cooked perfectly and seasoned very well. And the potato salad was really good as too. The only thing I wished was that they have some sort of vegetable like green beans or broccoli. I know I know, it's a barbecue place, but vegetables really balance out a meal. I would like the option. I liked the different styles of BBQ sauce they had available. This rating is based on 2 things: My meal and the restaurants zero response when i contacted them directly. I ordered a Filly cheese sandwich.it was in their suggested favorites board and it sounded delicious so I decided to try it. I ordered no bread since i am watching my carbs. I took my first bite expecting wonderful flavor or brisket grilled sautéed veggies and melted cheese...I was completely disappointed. I took a bite of each individual item trying to fine out what was making it so bland. The brisket was bland bland bland The veggies had no seasoning and they were mushy And the cheese was fine. I had my husband taste it and he said the same thing. he had me taste his brisket and it was great. i pulled all of mine apart and also found that 2 entire pieces of brisket were not just rich, but ALL fat. My husband said that it's as if they took all the crappy brisket and hid it under other items to mask the flavor. I went to their website and sent an email telling management the issue so they were aware of the issue with that meal. I got zero response. Just thought you should know this locations Philly Cheese sandwich sucks. I recommend ordering something else off their menu. my husband shared the sample platter with my daughter. You really could share but we can never agree so we never do and we just get too much food because leftovers :) the line situation really needs to improve. We waited outside for probably 45 minutes in line that just wasn't moving. After about 30 minutes, they came through with samples, which was nice but it's a hot Prescot day with food that's generally cooked in advance (not all I realize) - but It didn't make any sense how slow it was moving. I was so excited to come here when I saw they had so many barbecue sauces to try. I LOVE barbecue sauce. However, honestly none of them were great. Besides that, this place had pretty good food. We got the sampler plate. I wouldn't say it was amazing but it was good quality and pretty good portions sizes for the price as barbecue is usually quite expensive. Stopped in for dinner with a friend this past Friday when traveling through Prescott. This place had a very fun and relaxed vibe. You order at a counter then find a seat (similar to any other BBQ place I have been to in AZ). I opted for a Cheeseburger and shared some of my friend's garlic fries. My cheeseburger was amazing. Sadly a good amount of the fries were burnt but the ones that were not were tasty. I also really liked that you could try all of the BBQ sauces they often. Wow. WoW is about all this nice sit down or takeout BBQ. There's two locations. One in Prescott Valley and another in Prescott. Meats all cooked via their own BBQ grill. Of course it's a great smell and great tasteful food to beat. I've been here approximately a handful of times and never has been different tasting any of the times. So consistently isn't a problem here at all. Seating is more than adequate both inside and there outside covered seating. Prices are fair for the portion sized amount of food. I shared my Philly Cheesesteak with. The meat for this was made of beef brisket and toppings as you'd like. Bar looks well stocked and really for you and your drink of preference. Seating is also more than adequate since your drinks are at the bar or at your table. Personally I really suggest and hope that for anyone who likes freshly cooked BBQ of all types of meats and spices to fulfill your likings. My wife and I are visiting Prescott from California for the first and the young lady working the front desk at the property we are staying at highly recommended your establishment and I am so glad she did. To begin, Leah who was working the order register was fabulous. Very welcoming and she was well versed with the menu and provided excellent suggestions. She definitely made us feel welcomed. After ordering we were able to find a place to sit with easy in spite of it being so busy. The table was clean and the seats themselves were very comfortable preparing us for the feast that was to come. I ordered the brisket sandwich and a side of sweet beans that Leah suggested and my wife ordered the two chicken taco meal. Our meal was served in a very timely manner and we didn't waste any time diving into the meal. My brisket sandwich was an experience!!! It was tender, butter like, beyond flavorful and had the satisfying and distinct wood fire taste that placed the experience over the top. The beans were the bonus and exceeded the expectation Leah had set for them. Needless to say, we left completely and fully satisfied. It made the 6 hour drive from California all worth it. read more

The best. Love all the sauces, reasonably priced. Our fave is ordering a Cesar salad and a big bbq plate, then eating our bbq and salad together. My whole fam loves this spot. Onion rings and other sides (mac and beans) are also delicious. The bar was a let down/has room for improvement but we just skip drinking here. This is more of a beer spot not a craft cocktail spot, but would be great if they put some effort into good quality drinks (not just pumps of syrups, ew). Everything is good here. From the pulled pork sandwiches, to the smoked chicken. The burgers are delicious. The brisket and ribs are delicious. Their service there is also great, no servers... but employees are constantly passing by to remove the trash. I can't say enough about how good food is, however something else bothers me !! The busboy clean up person was wiping tables and wiped 2 after clearing them with the same rag. Not too alarming but he then wiped down the sauce area and the undersides of the spouts, all with the rag he just wiped the tables with. He then tossed the rag on his shoulder went behind the bar. He returned to the floor cleaned and wiped another table, with the same rag I asked to speak to a manager, was directed to the cashier, explained my concerns, she said she would talk to him, but didn't seem to be interested. This place has fantastic brisket and I love that I can ask for lean cuts of meat. The house bbq sauce is fantastic and the salad was out of this world and huge. I will say many of the sides were not my cup of tea and I do wish they had more pork free options, for instance, we really wanted a burger but because it has bacon ground into the meat, it was not an option for us. If you walk up and see a line to order, try not to feel too spooked! The line goes fairly quickly and the food comes out quick. My group went on a busy weekend and we were pretty impressed by how friendly the staff was and how quick we ate. We ordered the half chicken, two brisket sandwiches, and a ton of sides. The potato salad, slaw, sweet potato fries, and broccoli were great! We got the corn bread too that was a little dense and not as flavorful. It probably needed butter and honey! The meats were tender and really enjoyable. Don't forget to look at all their sauces! I really loved the sweet heat. It had a bit of a burn. Two of my friends got drinks. One was the non-alcoholic rootin' tootin' and the other was the young gun. Both were good and balanced well. We'd definitely come back to try more! The best bbq I've ever tasted! The employees are welcoming and the eating area is spacious, plenty of tables indoors and outdoor options. Their brisket is B O M B!!! We are staying close by and we asked the front desk employees, those ladies did not hesitate and both said Colts! I'm soo glad they recommended this place.
