I ordered a family style pizza the price was good the pizza was horrendous the crust was old and hard like a rock .I called them to rectify the situation abs they said hit stick with the pizza and that's how are crust is made .They offered me nothing to fix the bad pizza. A lady manager told me sorry. I will give the pizza to someone and not waste food but the customer service here is horrible. I have been wanting to drop by for a slice. If the whole pizza is the same as slices skip it. Quite lackluster. I did not care for the cheese used. I felt it was a cheap brand. Gal at register nice. I have been ordering from here for years and I mean years almost 25 while their thin crust pizza, and their stuffed shells are the bomb, don't ever try to order a deep dish pizza. Yeah, I know I am from Chicago and I tried to order a deep dish pizza from Coluta's..... I am not sure how or what ingredients they use for the crust, we could not even cut through the crust with a knife. The cheese was not only too thick. It was so freaking salty. I spent $20 on a pizza and it went in the garbage, it was not edible. I definitely called Coluta's to complain, I was told that is what happens when you cook with cheese it's salty... deal with it. I agree if your attitude is it salty deal with it, then you should advertise next to the deep dish cheese, pizza warning our cheese is very cheap. We use the worst ingredients which may be extra salty. BE HONEST Let me know any other deep dish pizza that you have purchased that you couldn't cut through the crust, lesson learned I will stick to mystuffed shells. read more

Honestly we always ordered pizza from another neighborhood place..which is still good..but one of my friends told me to try Colutas..she said its very good and much cheaper then our usual place...She was right...Very good pizza and Salad...anything I have ordered from there was great...Try it!!! read more

Placed a very last minute order for pick up for super bowl Sunday and it was a 10/10!!! Real Chicago style pizza! We picked up 2 Extra Large pizzas for 16 people and had left overs!!! This place is a hidden gem! I lived in elmwood park for 3-4 years and never seen or heard of this place until last year. I'm glad I came across this pizzeria. The thin crust pizza is amazing, very fresh and packed with tons of flavor! The slices of pizza are a must for a quick lunch run! The cheese fries are another must have when ordering from here. The prices are reasonable and the menu has a ton to pick from. The service is amazing, everyone is very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and very organized! My family and I have been getting pizza here for maybe 5/10 years. Love their pan pizza and deep dish! Always get my pizza well done since it tastes much better and that's how my mom does it. Their cheesy garlic bread is a great appetizer since it comes with 2 nice size pieces. Plus their salads are great priced and come with a perfect amount of dressing compared to other places! Lou Malnati's what? I had been ordering from Caluto's via GrubHub for about two years. As you can tell, I'm a satisfied customer. So I decided to go in one evening for pickup. Fried ravioli. Buffalo chicken wings. Medium pepperoni, mushroom, and sausage pizza. Still a satisfied customer. The fried ravioli is the best. Coluta's is a hidden gem in the neighborhood. The staff is always very nice to us, and they always accommodate my "custom vegan pizza with no cheese" lol . It always comes out right-they have never accidentally forgotten and put the cheese on it like most of the pizza places I've ordered from. My small veggie pizza without cheese is a little pricey at around $16 but totally worth it because it's so good! We always order from here when we have company and everyone loves it! I've been here three times. Every time for the Caesar salad. The Caesar dressing is out of this world!!! Idk what it is about their dressing but it's amazing!!! I crave their Caesar all the damn time. It's even good with the pizza! I personally think $7 is a lil pricey for some lettuce, cheese and croutons but I gladly pay it for the dressing. I've ordered the cheese slices pizza before and it was ok. I went back recently and dined in. We had the veggie pizza and chicken Caesar. The whole pizza is better than the slices. My friend was dipping her pizza in the dressing and I was like huh?! That can't be good, but I tried it and it was amazing!!!!! I will continue to come back just for the salad tho. I have been ordering pizza from Coluta's for a long time and I love their thin crust. To my surprise, I was very disappointed in this last pizza I ordered. I always go with the thin crust special that I always receive very hot. This time I added half to include spinach. The pizza was not hot and the pizza had a funky taste to it on the spinach side. Not my first time having spinach on pizza. I called them and the women who took my call was not responsive at all and basically might as well said oh well, she was very rude. The inside isn't decorated with anything on the wall and quite frankly, felt like a side room behind the kitchen (which I liked for some reason) They were selling pizza by the slice (cheese $3.50, sausage $3.75 I believe) and got one with the sausage topping. Service was above average as the kid gave me an extra slice, on top of giving great service but, didn't recall if the price included 1 or 2 slices. Pizza wasn't too bad. Definitely more on the doughy side than anything else with hardly any sauce (if that's how you like your pizza). I could definitely see them attracting a lot of business due to their cheap deals and wide selection of other offerings. Got a minor stomach ache after eating 3/4 of a giant slice. The first time I order from this place and to my surprise the pizza is delicious. The crust was crunchy and the sauce was sweet and tangy, the sausage was perfect and the mushrooms were delicious. Overall I am happy with my order and the service that was given, the person that took my order was really nice and the delivery guy was also nice. My order came on time and the food was nice and hot we also got an RC along with the pizza, I will definitely be ordering from here again. Today was the first time that me and my family ordered from Colutas and it was not what we expected. We ordered a family size thin crust pepperoni, spinach & garlic (extra garlic) pizza, hot wings and jalapeño poppers. The pizza crust was more pan than thin, the cheese was so thick that it outweighed the toppings but even if the cheese wasn't thick they just weren't friendly with the toppings AT ALL! ESPECIALLY the pepperoni! The spinach had a overpowering taste as if they didn't wash it, the garlic was minced-definitely from a jar versus fresh garlic which gave it a sour taste, yuck! I had to wipe the garlic off in order to enjoy it at the least unfortunately. The wings were overly breaded and dry. The jalapeño poppers were the stars of the order, at least something was enjoyable! Being a new customer I honestly was highly disappointed and I have never been this mad at food in my life!
