Roll your own spring rolls: Banh Tom Ha Noi
    Kimberly N.

Deliciously good! Oh my goodness, a group of 7 went out and had lunch here on Good Friday, and we ate and ate until we were too full to move. We ordered an order of chicken wings, which came with only 6, so we asked if they could give us an extra one, and they did. They even gave us the two sauces (honey garlic and Thai sauce), so we could try both of them. So accommodating! Next, we ordered 2 servings of bún chả Hà Nội, since we were told this dish made at this restaurant is even better than the one in Hà Nội. I know, right? But I trust the person who went to Hà Nội, ate this famous dish, and shared his personal feedback with us. I don't know the one there, but this dish was delicious. Very flavorful and the sauce, housed 3 small pieces of chả, was very good to add with the vermicelli and veggies. Some of us wrapped everything from this dish in rice paper and scooped some of the sauce on the wrapped food. So good! We also ordered Own Spring Rolls: (1) bánh tôm Hà Nội and (2) bánh hỏi. These two dishes came with the traditional vermicelli and veggies ready for you to add your meats and everything else to put on your dipped-in-water rice paper. The 2 meats we chose were grilled pork and beef. We were gifted some BBQ pork belly bites/skewers. The bite-sized items were cooked perfectly, and the accompanying lettuce, pickled veggies, and 2 different sauces went very well with these cubes of meat. The waiters were very nice and checked a few times, making sure we were okay. If you are in the neighborhood, stop by and try a few dishes or, if you are hungry enough, go for their AYCE option. Either way, I am sure you will have a wonderful meal here.

Drove all the way for AYCE seafood. Busy as short staffed when we first got there. Received a menu and also the AYCE menu to mark. Nice and bright in the restaurant. Cute little waiting area with decoration. The lanterns were lovely in the main dining area. They have a room you can hold an event at and additional seating in a smaller part of the restaurant. Restrooms up front. Everyone at the table has to have AYCE for someone to have it. Not a problem for us. We marked some items and they prepped the warmer on our table. It's for keeping your food warm as the food comes already cooked. Have to keep track of the food on the warmer so it doesn't overcook. We had mussels and oysters with the different preparations. Blue crab, fried fish and chicken wings. Meatball pho and rare steak pho - these come in small servings so they don't fill you up. We ordered white rice too and on the servers recommendation the selection of sauces. The fish sauce based sauces were not our favorite. The melted corn cheese listed under the sauce section was interesting. Not something we would recommend as we didn't love it. Fried fish and chicken wings were tasty. Pho was yummy and we would order the rare steak one on its own next time. Blue crab is meh as we both love Cajun seasoning on crab and this can't compare. The headless and deveined shrimp and the head on shrimp were both delicious. I dipped them in one of the sauces. French fries were a nice addition to our meal. Kimchi not something we would order again but we would order the zucchini. We ordered the tropical dream sundae when they didn't have the matcha cheese cake. There were two different flavors of ice cream. One of them is ube I'm pretty sure but the menu didn't specify. Peanuts, jackfruit, boba and ube chocolate sauce served on the side. The dessert was colorful and lovely. Tasted good as well. AYCE has extra $5 charge for seafood items. I'm glad we tried it and we both feel it was worth the price. Next time we want to order regular menu items. Parking in shared lot. Servers were friendly but can get busy so they don't check on you regularly.

One of my top 5 restaurants in Denver. I've eaten here a few times and ordered takeout, and every time it's amazing. You literally can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Not to mention that everyone who works there is SO nice!

Another tasty visit to Com Nha! Didn't realize how long it'd take for the giant seafood hot pot. Would recommend you order it ASAP once you're seated, so the kitchen can get rolling. It's absolutely worth it- ginormous platter of food surrounding hot soup! We got a few apps to tide us over, the DIY Spring roll was very tasty and worth the $18. Heads up- they stopped doing the dry ice soap bubbles at the end of the meal. Maybe (?) they'll bring it back one day.

This is one of the only Northern Vietnamese restaurants that I've seen in the US. Most Vietnamese cuisine in the US is southern. 100% worth the try. Bun cha is top tier, as is their squid

We were traveling through Denver and spending the night after driving from Las Vegas on the way home to Kansas City. Had a craving for pork chop rice. One order fed 2 of us. The flavor, the texture, the presentation all so good. It came with an egg on top and 2 type of sauces. I've never had it this good in Kansas City. The waiter was also super nice, he kept bowing to me. So polite.

1/3 of the bahn mi serving with pho broth for dipping and Sriracha/hoisen to flavor to your liking.

Came back with family that was visiting - the last of a handful of visits. Everyone enjoyed their food, though we all left with food for later (huge portions!): seafood pho, bahn mi, house pho, and a... Hawaii combo plate, if I remember correctly. The pho barn mi was fabulous! Tender meat, bean sprouts, and a very delicious pho broth. It came with two sandwiches - I had to take most of the second one home and my hubby enjoyed it later on. (I did have to ask for a container for that broth, was strange it didn't come out with the sandwich box when I asked for to-go containers...) I'm glad I tried something new as I usually go with the bun dac biet. Looking forward to trying something else new next time!

What an amazing experience! Apparently I have been living under a rock. This place is a gem. I have been wanting to come to this place since forever and today was the day. The place is really nice. The employees are friendly and willing to help you if you have any questions. I have the be honest with you. The food is full of flavor. Really tasty and flavorful. I am coming back with my kids and mom. We ordered the Bún bò Huế Banh Mi - Savor a spicy Vietnamese sandwich filled with brisket, enhanced by satay soy sauce, Thai basil chimichurri, and sautéed bean sprouts and onions. This delightful dish is served alongside a flavorful Bún bò Huế broth for dipping (per their website) and when you dip it in the broth it will take you the heaven and back. Cơm Đặc Biệt - A combination marinated beef, pork, and chicken served with rice and eggrolls. - my only complaint with this dish was the rice. It was a little bit hard. BBQ Roll - Charred pork and beef wrap with fresh rice paper rolls, accompanied by fresh veggies, crispy shallots, peanuts, and a flavorful sauce. SUPER DELICIOUS! I'm obsessed with this appetizer. Vietnamese Ice Coffee With Salted cream - it came with a coffee bear on top! So cute and fun. Overall I recommend this place. I recommend for family gathering, date, get together with your bros and girlfriends.

Went to check out the new all-you-can-eat Viet BBQ and it was amazing! $35 for most things or $40 ($5 upgrade) for seafood and a few other dishes. So delicious! Includes pho and bun bo hue too. Satisfies all the cravings! Ate ourselves into food comas. We also shared some tower of fun large format cocktails. Such a great time! Amazing service. A unique option in Denver, as this is the first place that is doing all you can eat Vietnamese BBQ. Nice change of pace work lots of unique dishes to try. I especially liked the mango clams dish.

Restaurant that has been open since December of last year. The place appears to have been a diner in a past life. The open layout is nice to see with the Vietnamese decorations. The food was excellent. We got 3 orders of pho that were packaged well for transportation. The egg rolls were packaged with all the accoutrements which included an orange sauce I wasn't familiar with. The service was fast and friendly. We arrived early for a pickup order and they hurried to get us on our way as soon as possible. Great Vietnamese restaurant.

When people say Denver doesn't have a good food scene, it is because they don't know where to find it and the Vietnamese scene has definitely picked up. I took my picky dad here and he enjoyed everything we ordered (since savory Vietnam and New Saigon closed, he hasn't liked any of the viet restaurants I have taken him to due to location or small seating). Com Nha does have a pretty good dining area space where you are not cramped. Service is fantastic. From what we saw in the kitchen, the chefs were Vietnamese so you know the food is authentic and they know what they're doing. Start off, you have to order the drinks. I love the ice dancing lion that comes with some. The Mango Milk tea was also quite delicious and tasty. The menu offers a lot of Vietnamese dishes you don't see in a lot of restaurants in Denver. They have the classics like pho and the grilled rice plates. It's worth trying out their other dishes like stuffed chicken or batel leaf wraps. On top of the food being pretty good, the presentation is crazy. There was a pineapple fried rice served in a pineapple shell. They also had grilled octopus on a little stone heater. I was honestly excited for the end of the meal where they come out with a bubbly soap experience so you can wash your hands at your table. So much fun.

Solid pho and Vietnamese restaurant! We discovered Com Nha as they had a booth at the Sushi Den rooftop party and were blown away from how flavorful and rich the broth was even in a little take out container from an event and knew we had to go try the full size in the restaurant. That weekend, we stopped by the restaurant and were not disappointed. The pho is a generous portion and almost to the point where I could not finish it since we ordered an appetizer too. It is good and bad because the menu is so great that I always want to try a different appetizer but then I am too full to finish my entree (leftovers at least!). We just went for our second time this weekend and our server recognized us! We have gotten the House Pho and Beef Pho, both were delicious. The second time, we got the House Pho and added the Bone Marrow which definitely added richness to the bowl. I got the Com Su'on Trung, Vietnamese grilled pork chop rice plate, the second time and it was SOOO good. Again, generous portion size so I was able to have a big lunch the next day. The spring rolls come in a cute presentation, a little basket of sorts. We also got the build your own spring rolls the second time and got the Bo La Lot, Vietnamese grilled beef in betel leaves. Very tasty and again, lots of rice paper and fillings to go around. It is a little messy but that is why they have their very interesting way to wash hands at the end. My husband and I have already planned out what we will order next time we stop in. Mmm yum!

This place is absolutely stellar! The staff here are the sweetest and so helpful. I think that this is a great place to try vietnamese food with a twist even if you're a native. The Vietnamese tacos were actually quite tasty! The folks are a tad heavy handed with the anise here. The Bo Ne here is so rich and flavorful. I love that the portions are super large too. Plus, this place is open til midnight so perfect if you're peckish. The great thing about this food is that even though it's so hearty, you leave feeling satisfied and energized rather than sluggish. When you finish your meal, they bring out this bubbly looking thing that you can clean your hands. I think they put some type of tablets that make it froth?

It's not close from my southeast Denver house at all but I make the trip to go here when I crave for good/quality bbq. Service is (in my frankest sense) solid and this restaurant has never failed in that regard. I always see the same lady manning the front. Her demeanor and speech are always consistent where her professionalism is her strong attribute. Quality is of utmost importance at any restaurant and this place is consistent in that regard as well. Today, I had pulled pork (about 6oz; by the way, you get to pick how much you want as you pay by the weight.) To accompany my meat, I got the Elote Salad and the Jalapeno Corn Bread. These created the perfect combination of balanced breakfast (yup, it was past 11am but it was my first meal of the day!!) It truly filled me up. The ambiance is of a typical bbq place. It's small and yet with the symbiotic relationship with the brewery right next door, the current space size justifies. The customers from said brewery come and get food as "eat-in" to take their plates back to the brewery to eat while brewing themselves up (lol!) Businesses co-exist/co-mingle/co-operate. Well it's probably been three years at this point, clearly they're succeeding in this tough biz! I used to say one of the quintessential Denver experiences was having a plate of Owlbear while drinking an OMF beer ( the neighboring brewery Our Mutual Friend). I'm happy to report the Pit Fiend and OMF relationship is just as strong, and the experience still remains a very Denver thing to do. Things to note: they are using USDA prime beef brisket, heritage breed duroc pork, and make their sausages and sauces from scratch. So they're doing things the right way, not sacrificing quality, and not taking shortcuts. This is important in the BBQ world!!! Low and slowwwww, baby. We split a half pound of fatty brisket, pulled pork sandwich, mac and cheese, and a cornbread muffin situation. Food was awesome. I was going to town on the brisket. Pulled apart as it should, while still remaining intact. The mac isn't your typical mac, but boy it's rich and cheesy. You can tell they work hard for the community. Sometimes it's overwhelming inside and the staff seems a little behind, but they hustle here. Tip your pitmasters!!!
