The Pivot Old Fashioned and Agave Caliente Margarita were my favorites. While I love peach, the Lucky Peach was just too sweet for me to enjoy. Melissa recommended the Agave Caliente Margarita and came back around to make sure it wasn't too sweet. I really appreciated that and got my subsequent drinks, "less sweet." I enjoyed the low lights and classy feel of this restaurant and I will be coming back.

That customer actually touched the food before sending it back. The waiter returned it to the kitchen and minutes later that same plate was placed in front of me. The food was clearly not fresh. This is a grilled sandwich and it was completely cold. The cheese had melted at some point but was cold and set by the time it reached me. The piece of meat sticking out of the bread and hanging over the side of the plate was already discolored, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or left out for an extended period of time. That alone tells you this plate had been sitting for a long time before it ever got to me. On top of that, that same piece of discolored meat had touched the surface of another customer's table, was taken back into the kitchen, and then came back out and placed in front of me. By the time it reached me it had made contact with multiple surfaces and been handled multiple times. When I pointed this out, the waiter offered to remake it and came back in under two minutes. I reminded him it took 40 minutes the first time, so this was clearly not a fresh remake. When I declined the food, he offered an alternative explanation. He said the plate had been accidentally delivered to the wrong table first and rather than making a fresh one they just redirected it to me. He seemed to think that was acceptable. It isn't. A customer touched that food, sent it back, and it was served to me anyway. That is a basic food safety and hygiene violation. No real apology, no accountability. Just excuses. Won't be coming back.

But that's not really a complaint, just a preference. Just imagine: instead of trying to analyze your business's weak points as an opportunity for improvement, you go around pointing out that your customers drank too much, and then you claim that your *steak frites* evokes the sensation of being in a French bistro? Give me a break! We know exactly what that feels like, and believe me, your restaurant is absurdly far removed from that sensation; you can't even cook a hanger steak properly. We weren't looking to have dinner at Denny's, don't be disrespectful, but we *were* trying to have a pleasant dinner. However, your restaurant isn't pleasant at all , something made abundantly clear by the way you respond to your customers. And although I shouldn't have to, I'm going to break down the bill for you just to prove that we *did* pay more than $160 USD. Learn some respect; even after such a poor dining experience, we still left a tip of over 22%. It simply means you had a customer who didn't feel satisfied with what they consumed and found there was no correlation between the price and the quality.
