Come Monday Cafe is located in the main building of the Margaritaville Resort Palm Springs. My husband and I decided to have breakfast here the morning of our check out after having a phenomenal experience at the resort's other restaurant for dinner the previous night. We were promptly and warmly greeted upon approaching the hostess stand, which set the tone for a fantastic meal and start to our day. Their breakfast menu had many choices for various breakfast styles and palettes. I ordered the Ultimate Breakfast and my hubby ordered the Carne Asada and Egg Bowl. My husband's breakfast was delicious. The portion size was generous, the carne asada was tender and flavorful, and all of the fixings complemented the dish perfectly. The Ultimate Breakfast was priced high, and I had some doubts about whether I may had just fallen into the worst trap of overpriced hotel breakfast, BUT...the Ultimate Breakfast was indeed ULTIMATE! The portion size was huge and though it was a large-portion platter, quality and taste did not suffer. My husband definitely had to help me with demolishing the plate. I highly recommend if you're wanting a sample of many favorite breakfast items in one order. To be honest, the dish can definitely be shared among two people. I went to this cafe two days in a row as I was staying at the hotel ( on weekends they have Brunch all day from 7am to 4pm), I tried their eggs Benedict, and egg white omelets. Was happily surprised by the quality of food! We stayed at the connected resort and came to Come Monday out of connivence. However, it was much better than the reviews made it out to be. Breakfast Burrito: loaded with eggs (felt like 4+ eggs) and lots of bacon. I appreciate that it was served with pico de gallo and guacamole because the meal was pretty heavy. The potatoes tasted frozen but they did the job. You'll hear the people at the pool and see hotel guests walking around, but service is good and the outdoor seating area is cute. read more

So I really don't know why they have a 3 star, it was great service and really good food. I really enjoyed Carlos our waiter he had a really good personality and was on point. He had a little bit of wit, which made it a nice experience and enjoyable. The host I believe manny was welcoming and amicable. We stayed at margaritaville and it's located right inside by the lobby. I got the carne asada bowl with egg whites and it was very delicious and made me quite full. The meat was tender and flavored well. Try the brunch punch it was very good and made me get a lil buzz, which is rare means the bartender was legit. I will have to come back to Palm Springs to try this place again.! read more

Been here this morning with my family. (Total member of 5) Server charged 18% tip without saying anything with our final check. On the receipt says they do charge 18% tip with party of 6 or more. Even check shows that our table guest is 5. We visited the Come Monday Cafe for the first time today for breakfast. The restaurant is very nicely decorated with some of the original mid century touches still intact from what was Merv Griffin's Riviera. Our server, Carlos, was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. He was on his own and covering all of the tables with efficiency. He gave recommendations on the breakfast dishes and had a fantastic attitude. The food was amazing. We had pancakes, fresh fruit, potatoes and a wonderful granola and yogurt dish that had toasted coconut. It was delicious as well as very affordable. "Come Monday Café" is a restaurant located within the Margaritaville Resort, Palm Springs. To be clear: I was not a hotel guest. My friends wanted to check out the resort, and we decided to have breakfast on the premises. If you weren't aware, the complex used to be "The Riviera Palm Springs". The original hotel was inaugurated in 1959, and attracted important celebrities in the past, like Elvis Presley, Cher, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, "The Rat Pack", and more. I mention this because the property is not new construction; it was renovated to take on the "look and feel" necessary to provide the Margaritaville "experience" (c.2020). The café's dining space was pleasant. The colors were light and bright, without being loud. It evoked a tropical feel. The service was very good. The service staff was prompt and provided the proper amount of attention without being intrusive. Regarding the food, some in our group ordered eggs benedict ($18) and others ordered omelets ($17). In addition to the entrée, each plate included "island potatoes" and arugula as an accompaniment. The food itself wasn't particularly remarkable. But the portions were good--not too much, not too little. The presentation was visually attractive. And there was a noticeable consistency to the meals served. (A PDF of the breakfast menu can be found on the resort's website.) As a general statement, restaurants have recently experienced hiring shortages, which impact their service level standards. You will pay a small premium for dining in a resort property (compared to purchasing a similar entrée off-site). However, the service during our visit was very good, and the individual meals were prepared in a competent manner (which may offer the consumer some intangible value). read more

Cute cafe at the new Margaritaville Resort with cool indoor and outdoor patio dining area, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, although currently only open for takeout-out, due to California regulations. A bit on the pricey side, but they have burgers, fish tacos, chicken sandwiches, salads, appetizers (ceviche, calamari, avocado toast, chilaquiles) and a few entrees (steak frites, salmon, ancient grain bowl and spaghetti). We ordered a pineapple drink that was kind of spicy and smoky, and some chilaquiles, that were pretty good. Although, I think some loaded nachos may have been better. Had a free breakfast to redeem so decided to come here. They have a really cute patio area which I enjoyed. Mimosa (5/5): standard mimosa, gave me a nice buzz. Bloody Mary (4/5): my boyfriend found his drink to be a little weak so he had to order an extra shot. Sunrise Omelet (3/5): Fell apart and hard to eat because the ingredients weren't mixed in with the egg, they were just wrapped inside it. Ultimate Breakfast (2/5): big portion of food, however I asked for sausage and received bacon which was not crispy and my pancakes were undercooked. Well this was just a fluke, but we ordered some pool side dinner and the steak and fries were to die for. The wedge salad as well. So we ended up having breakfast there the next day and everything was also delicious. Upon check-in there was a family of 4 whom decided to cut us in line and seat themselves. The hostess was not at the front at the moment & when she arrived after the family of 4 decided to seat themselves she informed us that she needed proof of our Covid vaccination in order to sit inside. We informed the hostess that they did not get checked & proceeded to seat themselves & she said she would take care of it. Opposed to her taking care of it, the party of 4 was served before us & they weren't required to show proof of vaccination. I'm definitely not recommending or coming back. read more

While waiting to put our names in for a table, we already heard 3 other people complain, so that should've been a sign. Once seated, our orders were taken right away and our drinks were brought out. Then we didn't see our waitress for the rest of the night, literally. After about a half hour, I see that a table that was seated 20 minutes after us already got their food. I went to the front desk to complain, and there was no one working it. Finally, a cashier comes out, totally ignores me, and starts punching keys on the register, then walks away. I went back to the table, when I see the manager walking by and I told her we have waited over half an hour and no on has come to our table and people seated after us have already received their food. The only thing she said was sorry, so we got up and left. This was the absolute worse customer service I have ever seen. Also, while we were waiting to be seated, two ladies told the hostess can we have a table for two, and the hostess replied, sorry, we don't have bagels for two.
