Came by after dinner for a quick treat, and it wasn't truly what I was expecting. I had my fiancé park in the loading zone, while I quickly went inside to order a drink. The tea masters were busy making their drinks, so no one was at the register. Upon looking inside, it was clean and had very nice decor. The menu wasn't complicated, but it was interesting to look at how to order. It came in three steps. When the tea master was ready to take my orders I ended up ordering a Ceylon black tea with evaporated milk and taro boba. She had told me that they ran out of classic boba. I waited towards the side for my drink and I could see the care that the girls had for making and brewing their tea. I'm glad to see actual tea being brewed and used in my drink. I was fairly excited to get my drink and taste it. I'm not sure if it's my taste buds, but it wasn't what I was expecting and it didn't hit the spot. The taro boba was very nice. It had a chewy texture and tasted like taro. My only concern was the drink; it tastes like tea, but watered down tea. There wasn't sweetness to it. I'm used to tasting strong tea or a lot of sweetness. This was neither. I'd say the only decent part was the taro topping. I don't think I'll make the trip back out to try it again, but it wasn't nice to see a boba place in Bella Terra.

I absolutely love this place!! I enjoy the selection of items you could add to your tea as well as the different types of tea. I also love the fact that they steam your tea fresh right there in front of you. Unlike other places that pre-make the tea and it just sits in a picture until you order it. This is all made fresh to order. It is fascinating to watch them make the teas, how they put it in the machine and steam them. Best place ever and I wish they had more locations as this one is a little bit harder to get to due to how busy the shopping center can get and trying to find parking. I go to this place every single time we go to Bella Terra but I unfortunately will not make a trip just to go there as that parking can be challenging on most days. You can park in the free parking structure as there is plenty of parking there, but then you got to hike over the stores. So it is definitely not a quick trip in and out place. I also have their stamp card where you can earn a free drink. The prices are decent and the place is always super clean. It is a small location so there is no indoor seating however, you can sit outside at the tables. If you are looking for them, they are down the way from the movie theater closer to the back parking area where valet stores the cars. They are close to the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. Every time I have gone there my tea has been made perfectly and it's not too strong or overbearing. They used to sell a lot of different cute tea sets. However, I've noticed over time there's less and less there on the shelves. But that is okay. I am there for the fresh stuff anyhow. Make sure you go early and don't wait close to closing time as sometimes they do close a little bit earlier than some of the other places. I will definitely keep coming back here

We had a bit of a hard time finding it based on our gps directions. The place looked cool and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed it, but a bit pricey in my opinion.

Roasted Oolong Tea Latte w/ Taro/Yam Boba

It's been pretty empty the times I've gone so I got my drink super fast. If you love tea and the taste of it, you definitely have to try this place. I got the number 1 creation as I was too scared to make up my own combination but I don't regret it everytime. The taste of oolong is very apparent as they hand pull each drink made to order. The yam boba is my favorite part of this place as it's very chewy and the flavor is much better than tapioca in my opinion, but it's not as sweet as boba. There are is no seating inside but there is some outside as it is part of Bella Terra. The parking area right next to it tends to be busy so I opt for the parking lot or structure.

Like another reviewer mentioned, the teas can be a little on the lighter side. But they are so pure - I got the Sun Moon Lake black tea, and it was the purest I've ever had. The boba was also chewy the way I like it. Visiting from the Bay Area, I would definitely come again!

Oolong Guava Tea with Agar Qq Pearls

Decent boba shop in the bella terra mall. Parking was relatively easy to find. I ordered the Top 4 Drink: Guava Oolong Tea with Agar boba. I was a little disappointed in the lack of tea flavor. The guava juice itself is refreshing, but that's all I could really taste. Normally I expect a deeper roasted tastes in oolong but this drink really tasted like guava juice and agar boba. Agar boba was normal and as expected. Overall service was quick. The interior is a to-go style and my drink came out pretty fast. This was a decent boba experience, but I don't think I'll be coming back again unless I'm watching a movie at the Bella Terra mall.

This is my new go-to place for milk tea in Huntington Beach. It's located near the movie theater and has a bright, welcoming and fun ambiance. I love all the display, tea grinder machine and teapresso maker. Their patented process produced a strong flavor and refreshing Black Ceylon Milk Tea plus the agar boba has perfect texture. The staff were also very welcoming and explain how their process works. Highly recommended!

    Black tea with evaporated milk

This tea spot is in a mall that has a nice theater and play area in front. A bit of a maze to get to after parking in front of REI on the other side. Entering the store, I was hit with that smell so familiar to me when I used to visit Teavana over a decade ago. Great smell, but I also was expecting something a bit more earthly like the classic green or oolongs. I tried the black tea with evaporated milk. It was good, but nothing amazing. I immediately regretted not ordering an oolong! The boba feel and taste was good. I'll definitely come back if I visit REI in this area again. Need to try something different to get a better feel of this tea spot.

This is in the Bella Terra shopping center. Plenty of parking if you're lucky! This place legit has tea hanging from their wall. We were greeted by their staff and service was very very quick. Clean and pretty space and the tease taste good with their Boba. I would probably come back and try something with milk if it wasn't so late.

I absolutely love comebuytea, each cup is individually brewed in a 5 step method of rinsing, warming, immersing, waking up and steeping the tea leaves in their patented teapresso. The tea is flavorful and smells wonderful. So far i love the osmanthus oolong tea and the evaporated milk roasted oolong tea. The drinks here aren't super sweet either. Definitely my go to spot for high quality tea drinks.

Come Buy Tea is the gold standard. I am a boba tea snob. This is my "go to" place....any place else pales in comparison- Just sayin'! Service is expedient and accurate! The taro boba is my favorite topping! I have grown to love their Roiboos non caffeinated tea. It's smooth, clean, and the freshest tasting!

Solid place for milk tea, although with so many Asian chains establishing US locations, I readily admit I can't keep up. Service at this one remains good even tho they've been open for a hot minute, the vibe is still good, and the decor still holds up. And yes, the milk tea is excellent.

    Black (Ceylon) Fruit Tea
    eumelisa ..

Favorite tea shop in Huntington Beach! The place is clean and I love that you can see the tea being pulled from the dispensers. The service is fast and kind. I alternate between guava and mango juice and the toppings as well but the black tea is a staple for me. The tea itself is very light and smooth. Depending on the sweetness level, 100% sweet isn't crazy sweet but getting less sweetness is the move for me. I get half sugar and it's a perfect balance between sweet and refreshing. Love coming here ! They also have a stamp card rewards :)

Their xiao long bao is also really good and definitely comparable to Din Tai Fung and Paradise Dynasty. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the dumplings and wontons were so moist and flavorful. The beef roll is a MUST. Unlike some places where it can be dry, theirs had the perfect amount of sauce and was so good. Also get the lava egg yolk steamed buns. So soft, moist, fresh, and delicious. But surprisingly, one of the biggest standouts was their drinks. They use real tea, and their taro milk tea completely changed my mind about taro drinks. Fresh taro mixed with real tea, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I would literally come here just for the drinks. If you love boba, you need to try them. Just be prepared to wait because this place gets BUSY. Lunchtime was packed, and we came around 3 PM and were lucky to get a spot. Everything was so satisfying without feeling overly heavy afterward. Definitely one of my new favorite finds and a place I'll be coming back to again and again.

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. You guys definitely gained some returning customers!

After finding this place on Yelp, I…read morecouldn't believe I hadn't heard of it sooner, especially since it's been around for a while. It's a small cafe where you order from the kiosk, and our food was ready in about 10 minutes. It's definitely more of a takeout spot since it was mostly self-service. There are a few bar seats inside, but it's pretty quiet, so we usually grab one of the outdoor tables shared with the neighboring shops. I've ordered the house BBQ pork egg pancake a couple of times now, and it's what keeps bringing me back. The pancake is much chewier than a traditional scallion pancake, almost like mochi, with a savory, satisfying bite. The grilled BBQ pork is tender, flavorful, and coated in a delicious sauce. It's also a generous portion that easily fills you up and had me craving it again for brunch after my first visit. On my most recent visit, I tried the signature pork belly rice and was surprised by how tender the thick pieces of pork belly were. The meat was well-marinated and full of flavor, and it came with a generous serving of rice to balance it out. It's another hearty and filling plate that came with a side of a boiled egg, cabbage, and pickled cucumbers. I also never skip the soy milk, which is refreshing alongside the rich flavors of the meal. It's nothing fancy, but if you're looking for a unique, satisfying meal that's hard to find elsewhere in the area, this spot is definitely worth trying.

While efficient, it felt impersonal and lacked hospitality. We ordered the Black Pepper Beef Toast ($9.95) and the Original Egg Pancake ($7.95). The Black Pepper Beef Toast was underwhelming as the bread was dry/flaky, and the beef portion felt sparse and unevenly distributed throughout the sandwich. This is one item I would skip on a future visit. The Original Egg Pancake was also disappointing. The cucumbers placed on top made the pancake soggy almost immediately, even when eaten right away. Texture-wise, it leaned more chewy and mochi-like rather than crispy which wasn't what I was expecting. It also came with very little sauce; a small side portion would have gone a long way in improving the dish. Overall, the food didn't quite live up to the hype, and neither item left a strong impression.
