I found the show through an ad promoting a 2-for-1 ticket deal: two tickets for the price of one ($15), with a two-drink minimum per person. The 2-for-1 was in the ad and even printed on the ticket itself. But when we went to scan in, the older gentleman checking tickets told us that wasn't how it worked. When we pointed out that it was exactly what had been advertised and says on the ticket, he said he'd "do us a favor" and let us in this time, but told us to "take care of our server." The venue wasn't full -- we were seated in the first section, and the upstairs wasn't being used at all -- so it's hard not to wonder if this was less about ticket policy and more about steering people toward bigger tips for the servers. Either way, it was a rough way to start our first visit to the Laugh Factory. Fortunately, everything after that was great. The hosts and comedians were hilarious, the servers were attentive, the drinks were good, and the venue itself was comfortable. I'd absolutely come back -- I'd just call ahead first to confirm ticket details so I don't have to deal with that unwelcoming entry experience again.

I was expecting to laugh a little harder, but that's on me. Next time I'll check who's performing! Overall, I had a great time and would definitely go back. Real mad at the comedy store…read more First, we bought tickets to see Tiffany Haddish. She is an idol of mine. Her sense of humor is off the chain. But last night she was not on her game. She wasn't prepared. She wasn't funny. And she kept asking the audience if they had questions. Now I realize this is not the comedy store's fault. After all, she is a superstar. But what is their fault is that I called ahead and asked if Sunset Boulevard was open after a Watermain break. And they assure me that it was. Well, it wasn't. Which made me 45 minutes late for the show. So the Stage seats that I bought we're not available. And I was relegated to seats near the wall, where the talent was never facing me so you couldn't hear what they were saying. Their voices were muffled and you could only hear half the jokes. And that is the fault of the comedy store. They should have a better sound system that's not muffled so everybody in the audience can hear even if you're near the wall. It's so annoying to be within blocks of your target venue and still be 45 minutes late because of construction. Which they should be well aware of. So my evening was not at all pleasant. I was late for the show. The show sucked. We left halfway through.

The CEO personally responded at 9:37 p.m. EST, to address my writing and delivery and to emphasize his personal investment in the club over my concerns. Will spare you the screenshots; Ultimately, I truly valued my four years as a member. Hopefully the club can take a more consistent, less impulsive, member-focused approach in the future.

We headed downstairs for the event and kicked things off with appetizers. that hummus with pita and fresh veggies? dangerous. smooth, flavorful, and beyond addictive. I had three plates and would've gone back for more if i didn't need to save room. I thought, "okay, this is a solid start"... but you know how these things go, sometimes the appetizers are the peak. Not here! Then... the entrées came out, and I knew I was in the right place. We enjoyed: fresh, crisp salad juicy fried chicken creamy mashed potatoes steamed broccoli a vegan mushroom pasta so good it had me singing and humming. The standout: tender, perfectly cooked salmon topped with pickled veggies -- an unexpected treat that took the flavor to a whole new level. after one bite, Iinstantly knew this is how i'll be cooking my salmon from now on. i'm talking rich, savory, soulful perfection. Overall, the gathering spot left me thoroughly impressed -- from the ambiance to the food to the hospitality. I would absolutely host an event here, and i'll be back whenever i'm in town because I fully intend to work my way through their entire menu. This place is a gem. Check them out!

It is a great intimate venue with lots of history and great sound. We parked about a half mile away and a public lot by the West Hollywood library, parking was only 12 bucks and it was a nice short walk to the venue and no traffic getting g out when we left the show. The event was sold out, and we got there right when doors opened. The line out front was not too long and security kept everybody moving really quick. Full bar and food inside. The main room is tiny, so anywhere you stand you will have a great view of the performers. I definitely plan to come back to see another show here, wish I had caught shows here in the past... We thought we were so lucky by standing by the stage but then one of the workers tells us we need to move because it was cleary handicap and we did. The manager a female came to yell at me and my son along with a father who was there with his autistic son and a young lady visiting from Nashville. We were told that once show starts and no one uses space we can return to our spots. Opener came on and we moved to our spaces but then we were told only four guests had permission to stand in those areas. A lady who had shown up with her babe and the father and son. The lady got loud with me as if she was there prior to my son and I, like lady it is not that serious and I have a child! Other than the terrible experience with customer service it was an epic show. Blake Whiten even handed my son a guitar pick he used which was super awesome for his first experience at a concert!

Once you enter, there are a few spaces to hangout before the show. The vibe was very eclectic - like I wouldn't be surprised if they had a tarot card reader in some dark corner (they didn't btw haha). There were a couple of cash bars set up. Everyone working at the venue was pleasant. The theatre itself was intimate in size. It was simple yet classic. They gave plenty of verbal countdowns to showtime. They have a strict no photos, videos, electronics use policy in the theatre during the show which was fine by me. I did drive up from San Diego solo to see Rory Scovel. He put on a great set! The vibe was great here. I met a bunch of cool people before the show. Definitely recommend getting a show in here.

I was front and center tonight and I couldn't believe it - very rarely are you that close to performers of any kind. Today was my second time being here. The first time I saw Judd Apatow and David Spade and friends - although I love them, Judd was going for a very laid back approach reading off of his iPad lol. Today I saw Vanessa Bayer, Kyle Mooney, and Jenny Lewis was her surprise guest! The show was so funny and Jenny's guitar playing and singing were angelic. There's a lot of food places in walking distance so you can grab your ticket and eat dinner before the show. Highly recommend going if you're on the fence! Try it!
