A dog started barking from inside, and then the owner opened the door and asked if I was going to a class. Before I could even respond, the dog came blasting out through the door and tried to attack my dog. The owner then hit his dog and grabbed the dogs collar and started dragging the dog towards the door. When they got back to the front door, the guy asked again if I was taking a class. I told him no, I'm just responding to a text, in a public area and your dog almost attacked mine. He responded "shut up, b*tch". Violent and aggressive behavior across the board.

The food and drinks are average. I ordered two iced teas and was a little thrown because the first one was significantly larger in size compared to the second one... Did I get scammed? But otherwise, show was great. We saw total of three comedians - 2 opening acts and the main one. I was also given the option to be seated right up front where all the action was. Be sure to stay until the end to close out your bill. They automatically tack on a 20% service fee, so no need to worry about tip.

My cousin was doing the sound for his buddy, who was the host of this comedy show. Anyhow, the venue was at a sandwich spot in the heart of dtla. Next door to the sandwich shop was the open loft area to house these 8 comedians plus a small but supportive crowd. I liked the inside of the place, air conditioned, clean, and very artsy feeling (canvas paintings all over the wall of butterflies) with an exposed air duct ceiling and brick walls. Most of the comedians have appeared in comedy central, laugh factory, and improv to name a few. And all in all, they were all very entertaining. Anyway, the only reason why I gave it a 4 star was no drinks! I would've been laughing 5 mins into the show if I had at least one martini:) Overall, it was definitely not my usual Wednesday night. All I can say is, Tennessee Williams would be UPSET that he hadn't written this amazing play! Pathos and bathos and drinking and smoking and sex and coming of age... created as we watched, with wild audience suggestions as prompts. (A boar's head heirloom, really??!). A terrific night of real theatre... which just happened to be improvised. Can't wait for the next one.
