Sigh so I guess like every comedy show, 2 DRINK minimum. i asked what about food and a drink - nope. 2 Drinks minimum. I don't drink and I really can't justify buying a $10 bottle water and $8 soft drink. Especially when you pay $40 for tickets plus $18 to valet. Other than that, going to the Laugh Factory for any show is a great time. You will get the laughs. You will get positive vibes. The staff are kind.

The comics were great, the service was great as well. My server was very helpful & attentive. The ambiance was nice too, very intimate comedy club! The food was good as well! I had the House Special pizza which had red sauce, burrata, grated parm, zab's hot honey, & basil. It was delicious! I really enjoyed it & how the burrata added a creamy texture, all while laughing and enjoying the comics! Thanks for a great experience.

AMAZING every time. My friend and I got tickets for a random Wednesday night thinking it would be a quick midweek plan, and somehow ended up staying until almost 1am. At one point I was laughing so hard I almost peed myself Brandi was such a lovely host, and as a Persian, I was especially excited to see Amir K and Rahmein Mostavi on the lineup, and they absolutely killed it!! Jack Jr, CP, and Craig Robinson were hilarious too. Stacked lineup. No dead parts. Just nonstop laughs. I also love the venue itself. It's the original Hollywood Laugh Factory on Sunset so it still has that classic old school LA comedy energy. The arched stage, red lighting, cozy little tables, and intimate room are all so lovely. There's a 2 drink minimum, but you can get water, and the giant warm chocolate chip cookie was so good. They also sometimes have buy one get one free tickets online, which is how I surprised my friend If you want to make a random Wednesday night more fun, do yourself a favor and go.

Be careful giving your credit card. I enjoy the Laugh Factory Hollywoods comedians... HOWEVER... they took my bank card to start a tab. Charged me my tab price then I get home the next day and I get another 68.00 charge on my card. Mind you my boyfriend and I dont drink. Our total tab waa 68.00. Why the multiple charges? Now I have to cancel my bank card and get a new one. I feel ripped off. Has this happened to anyone else?

    Orny Adams killed it!

OMG Orny Adams killed it~! I was looking forward to seeing George Wallance but he was a no show. If you plan ahead, a night at the Laugh Factory can either be a hit or a miss! Stick around for pro tips below. I arrived early to find street parking a few blocks away. I got in line with my party and we entered and we quickly grab a table and seats. First come first served style seating. The waiter quickly comes over and takes orders. Last call will be right before the last comedian takes the stage. Once the show is over, there is no hanging around, you must exit because there is another show coming in (if you're the 7:30pm show). If you don't drink alcohol, there is bottled water for $8. If you're a party of 6 or more, they will add 18% automatically. Check your checks! Ask for an itemize first before paying. Valet is $18 on a Friday night, not sure about any other night. I didn't see any garage close by. Don't park on the nearby residential streets or the lot behind Laugh Factory, your car will be towed or ticketed. When you purchase your tickets it says the the lineup of comedians can change, 2 drink minimum per person, and buying GA tickets doesn't guarantee you a seat. So be sure to go at the time the tickets says to be there or earlier. Bathrooms are tiny! I recommend going when you don't find a comedian funny during the show. Don't go at the end because there will be a huge line and bouncers trying to get you to exit. Follow the tips to have a great time! cheers :)

We were excited to visit the Laugh Factory and we thought it was just ok. We had good seats and comedians were pretty good. The women's bathroom was not very clean. And I don't like the fact that there is a 2 drink minimum per person. There were also out of all of the seasonal drinks which was a bummer.

The Laugh Factory is one of my fave venues in Hollywood! There's so much old Hollywood history, and I just feel like it's such a quintessential experience that you could only have in a place like LA. Yes, I know they have locations in other cities, but I feel as though the Hollywood Laugh Factory truly is a one of its kind. Aside from the fact that there's always the chance a celeb will show up at this location, I've always found the shows to be impeccably impressive experiences on my visits. For each show, there are multiple comedians throughout the evening to provide jokes and entertainment. Aside from that, I found myself pleasantly surprised by just how good many of the food & drink items here are - I especially recommend getting chicken nachos & the chocolate cookie. I've also admittedly felt intimated and uncomfortable at other comedy venues in the past, but everyone here was always MORE than friendly and extremely accommodating. Needless to say, I highly recommend The Laugh Factory for fun nights out when you're in the Hollywood area.

10/10 experience. I went for Rubee Tuesdays. The comedians are so much fun and engaged with the crowd. I 100% want go back for another Rubee Tuesday show. Outside of the stand-up, it was cool. It feels really intimate and comfortable. There is pizza by the slice for sale and other small snacks. There is a two drink minimum for each guest which I don't mind when there are great drinks available. The drink I had was absolutely terrible. I ordered one of their seasonal or signature cocktails. It was a cucumber, vodka, soda water concoction. I love cucumber cocktails, but this one was not it. I couldn't even finish it. It was thick, syrupy, and unpleasantly sweet. Their drinks are LA prices = expensive, so I opted for something canned for my second drink. Go for the comedy, and order basic drinks.

Sit in the front if your brave.

This is my favorite comedy club in LA. When I come here I usually walk as it's in a nice area of town right off the sunset strip. This is a small intimate club, where a lot of famous artist had their start, and still come to often as "surprise guests" . The man in the front is the coolest, he's been there forever. Service is always top notch, drinks are strong , food is good! You don't go to comedy shows to eat dinner though unless you want to get roasted haha... Great place, bang for your buck, good comedians, check this place out if you're in LA, you won't regret it. It is an iconic LA staple.

First time going ,we had a great time on a thursday. All of the comedians were funny and surprise guest was Craig Robinson. That was a plus for sure Thank you!!

Came on a Monday night which was a smaller crowd, probably about 30-40 people max. We found free street parking pretty easily. There is a 2 item minimum (drinks or food) and the servers are attentive to get your order and give your items to you fast. So for two of us with 18% tip, spent about $80 all in. Drinks are pricier and are more divvy-status: cocktail $19, wine $15, seltzer $12, and hot chocolate is $10 to be exact. The show is about 2 hours long - we had 6 comedians and the host. Our night was a good array of comedians with various material. Pretty funny and each comedian didn't overlap material much so kept each set interesting. Of the most used content, it was about sobriety, some election stuff and LGBTQ+ relationships. There was also content on marriage, potty training, and neobabys. Notable guest comedians this night were Chris Delia, Jeff Dye, Jimmy Shin, and Mike Binder. Fun night out!

    Corie D.

Went with the family on chocolate Sunday night. The comedians were awesome, the food wasn't bad, the service was mediocre. But we didn't come there for the service or the food we came there for the laughs and memories . Had a really good night. Can't wait to go back again.

Laugh factory is a fun place to enjoy a comedy show. I highly recommend first entry tickets as they make sure you have good seats and can see the stage. They have a mandatory 2 item (drink, food, merch) purchase per person which I find a little odd considering how expensive each item is. Our service wasn't great, took 40 minutes to get drinks and food never came. But the server seemed very busy. Overall we had a great time with good laughs and will be back to hopefully enjoy the service more.

Ask the Community - Laugh Factory

When do they start seating for first entry tickets?

What if someone does not drink alcoholic beverage? Does the 2 drink minimum apply to water? Or food or any other item?

No, I don’t drink alcohol and I was able to buy more than two waters

Is proof of vaccination required for entry?

No, not that I know of. I only been here for the chocolate Sundaes ( a few times) that's hosted there. So I can't speak for the other shows if it's required.

Is there a dress code for men?

The few times I have been here the men are usually dressed casual or semi dressed up. Some men are in t-shirt, jeans, and sneakers and other men have button up and jeans on. I did also notice some men wore hats. I hope this helps.

    Does anyone their COVID protocols?

When we went recently they didn't ask to see our vacc cards or ID and didn't make ppl wear masks when seated. It wasn't good.

    Is it wheelchair accessible?

    I believe it is.

Can I take my son if he is under 18?

Unfortunately from my understanding it’s 18 & over and some nights it’s 21 and over.

    Is there a dress code?

    No. Just wear clothes.

    Is there valet?

    Yes. It is $9.

    Do they offer food?

    Yes. Light food and appetizers

    How much are alcohol beverages?

Anywhere from $5-15, beers are 5-8 and mixed drinks can go from 9-15

How's the food? Watching a 745pm show, should I eat here or after?

I would eat after. The food is okay, but there are a lot of great restaurants around that would be way better than eating there. If your hungry, maybe get an appetizer to hold you up, that's what I've done. Hope that helps!

How much is Valet Parking for Laugh Factory?

    Valet is $9.

    Is it 18 n over?

The club is generally 18 and over unless otherwise specified. You must be 21 and over to purchase alcohol or use any promotional tickets.

    How long are the shows?

I went to see George Lopez just a few weeks back on 02/07/2018 at 9:45pm. I asked the waitress the same question when I was seated and she said about 1.5 hours. They had three comedians open and each did a 10-15 minute act and then George Lopez's… Read more

    Is this 21 and over?

    No, it's 18+

When's the best night to come?

I come in at 2:58PM I go to the bar where Mitchell takes my order. I ask for a HOUSE dirty Shirley (a house drink during happy hour cost $7). He goes and makes my order and comes back. At this point it's 3:01PM. He charges me at 3:01PM keep in mind. He puts out the little card reader machine and as he does that, I hand him a $5 bill for tip. I wanted to tip him $5 since I knew my happy hour drink was $7. I tap my card and move on. I sit and I'm drinking my drink and got a notification that I got charged $15.50. As I'm looking at this charge I'm trying to make sense as to how my $7 house drink turned into $15.50. I try to justify it by saying it was tax or maybe he forgot to insert happy hour price since it WAS only one minute after it started. Whatever I don't get upset. At least 3:45PM - I call Mitchell over again and I say "can I please get the happy hour fries (advertised as $9 during HH) as well as another round of my drink (advertised as $7 during HH) that counts as happy hour right?". Mitchell says "Yes". He charges me again - I tap and I tip $18% which said was about $3.50ish. I look at my charges. I was charged $27. At this point I call my partner and I'm asking him to please help me make sense of this. I send him pictures of the menu etc. He says to ask for a receipt. I ask for my receipt for my first and second transaction and Mitchell only hands me the second one. At this point I'm super upset. I look at my receipt. He has charged me full price for my drink but he did give me happy hour price for my fries. I finally work up the courage to call him over and confront him about this. He admits that he made me pay full price for BOTH transactions. He goes over to his coworker asking to help give me a refund and I can read his body language. You could tell that he was a bit embarrassed because he got caught. He hands me a receipt showing that I'm being refunded for the second transaction of $27 and something cents. He said he was going to go check on my first transaction of $15.50 (which should have been no more than $10 with tax since house drinks are $7 during happy hour). At this point I'm making conversation with the guy next to me. Mitchell comes back hands me another receipt (I'm thinking it's the refund for my first happy hour transaction) I thank him, he apologizes and says he forgot to ring me up for happy hour. I just shrug it off but in the back of my head I'm thinking. How can you give me happy hour priced food but ring me up a second time with regular priced drink? Whatever. I continue on with my conversation with the person next to me and leave. As I get to my car I look at both "refund" receipts and notice he gave me two of the same receipts. Acting as if the second one he gave me was for the first transaction I made. Maybe it's my fault for not double checking the second refund receipt. Regardless - these charges were most definitely done on purpose with the intent of overcharging me not once but both times. I will never come here again. Please if you choose to come be aware. This is why I was never asked if I wanted a copy of my receipt. I truly hate writing reviews like these because of an interaction with a staff member. I'm sure the owner wouldn't agree with what happened to me. Pictures is my original and refunded receipt for proof of the second transaction. Again - I never got refunded for the first transaction of $15.50 like I was told.

There's a DJ, men dancing on stage, the whole nine. There is also outdoor seating, and parking is always a nightmare. This isn't a place you stumble upon; planning a visit is a must. ;)

Fun club in the West Hollywood area. I tried a variety of cocktails I don't know the names of, but…read moreeverything was relatively good and strong. Nothing standout though. I would've preferred drinks on the sweeter side. I visited around 11pm on a Saturday and it was free cover. The interior was full of ornate decor and different areas to hangout/dance in. They have dancers all around the club you can give dollar bills to. All the people there seemed generally nice. I also liked the music selection played there as they played a lot of pop hits from early 2000s to present day. A solid club for a night out in WeHo.
