Good food and a really cool soda machine with a variety of flavors! Service was pretty good and it's a nice downtown spot to hang out.

It was just ok. It was my first time here and aside from all the neat home made style soda I wasn't impressed. They charged us 2.49 extra for each sauce. I ordered 2 my companion did not but got charged for one extra anyway. The coleslaw was ok but my cup wasn't even half full. I will try to attach picture. The fries were okay but not exceptional. The chicken was ok. Super salty though. I had some tenders that were old and dry and some were newer but still nothing to write home about. I probably wont go back. If i want amazing chicken this isnt it. The sauces are ok but not 2.49 worth for an oz homemade or not. read more

How long does it take to deep fry a couple chicken tenders? Apparently 25 minutes. Well... they'd probably come out quicker if they prioritized their dine-in customers over the bar next door. Just an observation. I watched order after order after order be walked out by the staff here for delivery to Verboten next door. One of my pet peeves is watching a restaurant be great when they open and then it's a slow decline the longer they stay open. This place was 5 stars when it first opened - friendly service good food, decent portions. Then the last 2 times were 2 or 3 stars due to service, food quality, all disappointing because I had raved about it when they first opened. I had ordered Churros before that person and the lady didn't even ask if I wanted syrup with my churros . But when this person had ordered she asked them which was completely rude . Stopped by here while visiting a friend and I'm really glad I did! I got the tenders basket - comes with fries, slaw, and sauce. Tenders were fresh, hot, and juicy. Seasoned well without being too overpowering. I'd recommend the spicy Thai sauce. Fries were a little cold, not sure if it was because we came late at night, or it was just alright compared to the chicken. I also got a soda - they have lots of different unique options. The pineapple cream soda was interesting but my favorite was the vanilla cream soda. Prices are reasonable and service is fast. If I had a chance to visit again I would want to try the Banh Mi sandwich because I saw lots of good reviews on google. read more

Order at the counter with friendly staff members. Sandwiches are big enough to share if neither of you are super hungry. Fries included in the basket with a drink are nothing special, but both ketchup and mustard are available in big vats. Tried the Buffalo Chicken and liked the tender tenders and the slaw inside. The drinks are good, with unsweet tea and hibiscus tea and specialty soda pop in creative flavors on "tap". Some of the patrons are young and not very considerate, tossing their backpacks into the aisle rather than keeping them in their booth. The salads look good, too. Me and my boyfriend came in the other day ordered some buffalo chicken sandwiches and had space dust on the fires and when I tell you that was the most unenjoyable meal I have eaten in a while there was just soo much seasoning on the fries and the buffalo sauce was just so spicy we couldn't finish our meals. That bbq sauce is a crime against humanity. Everything else is pretty great, but, holy horse biscuits, that bbq is horrendous. Went there the other nigh. And order the 3 piece with Nashville hot. The cashier told me we can't do any sauces. Her reason was we close in 45 minutes! I could not get them tossed because they closed in 45 min? Not 5 min but in 45 min. Not very happy because I drove here to get dinner and they are not offering their whole menu. We ordered take out several months ago and my daughter got tenders. She told me that they didn't taste right about 1/4 way into eating and I pull it away from her and check it and pull it apart and the chicken was raw inside. I was horrified. To unknowingly feed my child raw chicken was beyond. Thank god she didn't get salmonella. I did complain and the "manager" says oh sorry we always check the temp on our chicken, I have kids I would be upset too, I'll send you a gift certificate for you to give us another chance. Overall the interaction was rushed and I felt not really sincere but I reserved making a review until I received promised gift certificate to try them again. Well, not surprisingly the certificate never came and 0 follow up was given. We won't be back and won't be suggesting any of our friends or family to patronize this place. Uncooked chicken is not something I'm ever going to overlook and if the manager could care less about making something so egregious right then they don't need my money. Oh and the chicken sandwich I got, the sauce was so hot I could barely stomach it. The sauces are inconsistent with heat. I ate it several times before with no issues so I had no idea my mouth would be an inferno after eating that.
