Beef Burrito with charred tough and gross beef.

Just awful. I ordered the beef burrito and is was terrible. The meat was so over cooked it was black, tough and it tasted like it was a little rancid so I didn't eat it. I ordered a side of rice and beans which was decent so I ate that for dinner

I must've passed by this little restaurant on the main street by the Edison train station so many times without paying much attention to it, so I decided to give it a try! It has *surprisingly* good food at good prices with reasonable portions. I didn't expect much when walking in, but the after tasting their steak quesadillas, platillo amado, and tostada (and I REALLY like their tamale!), I changed my mind for the better. It may not be the best Mexican food esp. compared to New Brunswick fares but it still offers a decent dishes from south of the border!

Ordered to go, no dining in due to pandemic: 1 tamale de Puerco/pork tamale, $1.50, dry, bland 1 beef sope, $2.50, ok 1 fajita de pollo/chicken fajita, $10.00, good, soupy black beans 1 guacamole, $5.00, fresh, chunky, big portion, good chips Would only recommend the fajita & guacamole

    Chorizo burrito

This store is pretty big on the inside, considering how small it looks from the outside. It's decorated and everyone there is nice. I ordered a chorizo burrito (in picture) which was really good. It had chorizo, rice and beans and lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes and cotija. It can to be $8, so as with everything there was a price increase as it used to be $5. They're still filling and thankfully did not go down in quality or quantity. I also ordered horchata which was delicious. Everything came out very quick and the all the workers were nice.

The first couple of times I was here, the people were so unfriendly that I didn't even get anything. The first time, I was with my friend M and we wandered in on a break from a bike ride. The woman turned her back as we approached the counter, and didn't turn around even though I said "excuse me" a couple of times. So we left. It was pretty clear we weren't welcome! The second time I came by myself and the woman faced me, but was stone faced and cold, so I just asked a question and left. Today I decided to just get some tacos. They were ok, but kind of greasy. They were served on a styrofoam plate which was melted in a bubble pattern according to the tortilla on it. I think the food must've been too hot when they put it on the plate, or they should just use regular plates.

Horrible. if i could, i'd rate 1 star. i will never step foot here again, took too long, rude staff and disgusting food. i paid so much money for this food that didn't taste good, no meat, the meat that was there was boiled meat, chicken & steak. the burrito was all rice, a steak burrito not just a rice burrito. the burrito was also covered in lettuce and sauce. it was soggy. the tacos were soggy too. they were rapped in tin foil. we got a chicken & cheese quesadilla and it only had chicken. by the name of this restaurant you'd think that would be authentic Mexican food which is what we wanted but no all we got was soggy food that didn't taste like anything it tasted like no flavors at all. don't go here. customer service wasn't helpful at all. we got no refund.

I like Crazy Burrito. I usually do takeout and have rarely been disappointed. My order is always ready when I get there. Cashier is always friendly. I really like their flan & the green sauce they use is delish. I've eaten in only twice but each time we were promptly taken care of and portions were great for price.

    Pork Burrito with added sauce

The food was edible - I ordered the shrimp fajitas, a pork burrito, chicken tostada, with corn tamales. Everything tasted extremely watered down, from the beans to the pork. It could have been an off day, but there was no flavor in anything but the tamales. On top of that I ordered delivery and one of the items was missing!

Due to the long wait (1 hr+) in the fall, we ended up leaving and not trying out this restaurant. This time, I was pleasantly surprised that we were seated within a few minutes in the outside dining area, even without a reservation this go around. The drinks are the focal point! There are so many options, all of which are unique and delicious, and they come out looking so fun. I had the Tamarindo and my husband opted for El Jefe. The Tamarindo had a delicious, sour tajin rim. I was sold from that point on! Before any food came out, we were provided with complementary chips, pico de gallo, and hot sauce. A nice way to ease into the food. Our appetizer was a citrusy shrimp dish, with the seafood plated on avocado mouse. I've never tried avocado in this format and it was so delightful- soft and creamy! The sauce was perfectly citrusy and the presentation made it look like art. My main dish was the spicy shrimp tacos. They were sufficiently packed, not overfilled, which I appreciated. I was full after one taco and had two more to take home. Overall, this is a good energy, lively spot with loud Latin music and good eats. Slightly on the pricier side, but well worth the energetic atmosphere. Staff were so friendly and helpful- couldn't ask for more in this department. Great way to spend a summer evening!

For food we had Truffle Street Corn, Salsa Flight, & Chef Taco Board. The Chef Taco Board feeds 3 people, we used it for 4. It comes with 9 Tacos & 1 side. You can choose from the list of Tacos that they have, so you get 3 of each taco you choose. We chose the Jalisco Birria Melt Tacos, Slow Braised Carnita Tacos, & Pineapple Fire Shrimp Tacos, our chosen side was the Yuca fries. A nice an experience & a place I'd recommend if someone were in the area looking for Mexican. Note: They add a 2.90% convenience fee to your check for card usage. Not a fan of that, but whatever. I instantly realized how the interior looks identical to Los Tacos No. 1. The Coca-Cola insignia is displayed to the left and right of the restaurant name. The menu is painted on a large wall. Even the employees wear white uniforms and white chef hats. Originally, I was confined this restaurant was going to be a cheap knock-off. Ordering is done through an in-store kiosk. Although I was skeptical using the computer screen, I found it easy to navigate and was able to fulfill my lunch order without requesting any assistance. The meal took a few minutes to arrive, but that was because the servers were freshly making it on the spot. I started to get a good feeling as I witnessed the chefs in action. As soon as I took my first bite, I realized I was mistaken about my initial impression. All tacos are prepared with fresh ingredients with a smoky flavor. The shells are soft and doughy. Juices from the protein slightly compromised the appearance, but the taste is fantastic! There is a salsa bar offering complimentary toppings for your tacos. Limes, pickled onions, and three flavors of salsa are an option. The seating is kind of tight, but it's meant to be eaten in a fast paced atmosphere. Overall, I didn't think I was going to have a great experience, but this location surpassed my expectations by a long shot. I've been here a couple months ago, and it's wild to see how much it has grown in popularity. The last few times we have visited, it has been packed or overflowing with customers. A good sign, if you ask me! The tacos are uniquely curated and not your typical selection. I had a Smashburger taco, because I love ground beef, and also a delicious shrimp taco. Any one you get, it is tasty, fresh, prepared right in front of your eyes, and my best of all- so colorful! There is a salsa/sauce/lime bar, which is constantly refilled and has plenty of to-go cups and boxes. I cannot recommend the Agua de Horchata drink enough. When I see Horchata on a menu, I automatically gravitate towards it. Here, the drink is not too thick or overwhelming in flavor. It is nicely balanced with the cinnamon and milky tastes. If you get the 16 oz, the drink comes in a cute square shaped cup. Love this taco joint and coming by every so often to see what is new on the menu and how well they are doing. There is plenty of parking in the plaza lot. If you are in the area, I highly recommend. Definitely worth a shot!

My chicken breast was good (everything else on the plate was bland), and my daughter's green enchiladas were ok. My husband's birria quesadilla was very good according to him and my daughter. The service was awful! The waitress handed us iPad menus and never said to order on the tablet or if she was going to come back for our order. The menu is not extensive, just fyi. You can only get taco platters with all the same taco meat, not a variety. The enchiladas are also only 1 way for all three on the plate. Whatever...I can deal with that, if the food was great. It's not. The black beans were room temp with no seasoning, the corn on the cob - no salt, no butter. The guac was also bland. We were never offered water refills and she never asked us if we wanted a drink until after our meals came. We didn't, but it was said with a huge sigh and eye-roll. As a side note, this was a grown woman waiting on us, like an abuela, not a teenager. She never came back to our table, until she saw another waitress come over and bring us boxes for leftovers - that we had to go to the bar to ask for. Oh, important point - the restaurant was not busy, so she was not in the weeds. The restaurant could be an amazing spot if the service was better and they seasoned the food.
