I know a lot of people LOVE this pizza place. I don't hate it, it's not my favorite though. The best thing about this place is the convenient location. We go to nightfall all summer long and this place is obviously located right in the middle of nightfall. The pizza selection is lacking in my opinion and the choices other than pizza are not very appealing. The beer prices seem a tiny bit high to me. I much prefer Lupis and Mellow Mushroom over this pizza restaurant. HOWEVER, the milk and honey coffee bar they have in the mornings inside is delicious and I love it. I used to walk from work to here with my coworkers before the new coffee place opened in Warehouse Row. The sad thing is the last time I was here (Friday) I think the server forgot to put our order in and we waited quite awhile for our food. (I really try not to be picky on servers because I worked in the service industry for many years, it's tough). But we also asked for a booster seat twice before my dad got up and got it himself. The server was really nice and the manager came by to apologize, she was really nice as well so it's not the service, the food just isn't my favorite! UPDATE: The manager heard we have had previous poor experiences (because our server this time was awesome) and she said she hoped we would reconsider and all that, gave us an appetizer that was delicious and our wait this time was pretty good considering how busy we were. No kids were left without food. HOWEVER. My complaint is that they don't do single slices on the weekends ?? Why??? My child is the pickiest and most boring eater ever. She was cheese pizza. No one else wants this so it's really hard to feed her when restaurants make fancy grilled cheese and she has nothing to eat. She's 4 I know but she's with me and I have to feed her. That's all. This place was great! We were helped right away and our food came so quickly. Our server was very helpful and gave us his recommendations. We even got gelato afterwards which was also tasty! The only tricky part could be parking, but for people familiar with street parking it shouldn't be a problem at all. read more

My family stumbled on this place when passing through town a couple of years ago. Awesome food! We loved the garlic knots for an appetizer! The meatball sub was incredible - the meatballs were moist and the marinara sauce impeccable. Grandson ordered pizza and the crust/sauce ratio was perfect. The crust was chewy and wonderful. All four of us loved our meals. The waitstaff was helpful and they allowed easy substitutions (didn't want kale and they permitted Caesar salad substitution). Great flavors, great food, great service. Excellent food, excellent service (our server was Chloe), and super kid friendly. We came here with a crew of 5 hungry kids post aquarium with multiple dietary restrictions, and our server Chloe was amazing. She handled all our special requests perfectly and also gave us a great beer recommendation for the adults. They also brought out pizza dough for the kids to play with while we waited on our food and just generally made our experience pleasant (not an easy feat with that many kids in a restaurant). Employees were super friendly and attentive. We sat at the bar. Great decor. I had a good Pinot noir wine and my husband had a good draft beers. We had the meatball appetizer and loved it. We ordered the New York style Little Italy pizza. The peppers on it made it pretty spicy, but good. We took some off and it was delicious! So the pizza is amazing here, it's always been great but I never thought to review it until now. I was in Chattanooga for work recently, ordered a pie to my room. The delivery guy, not with Community, left it at my door and didn't knock, so it sat there. After a very long wait I checked and there it was, ice cold on the floor. I called and the manager wanted to make it right, though he didn't have to. He insisted on sending me a gift card to my home address, even though I didn't think he should have to, but he very kindly did. When I got home I had a gift card and a nice note apologizing, again, even though it wasn't his fault. That's just good business and I won't be eating any pizza other than community for life (when I'm in town), so thanks manager Anthony Harney. read more

The lunch special with one slice of pizza and a side salad is a great value. I usually choose the Home Slice, which is their special slice of the day. However, if the Home Slice doesn't appeal to me, the mushroom pizza is great too. The kale salad is a big hit with my coworkers. If you're going with a group, don't skip the garlic knots. Bruschetta: 4 stars. Includes two types of topping: mushroom & goat cheese, and tomato basil with a balsamic reduction. I thought the mushroom ones were particularly gorgeous: meaty, slightly saucy, and otherwise highlighting the potential of an otherwise lowly fungus. The tomato basil one was good but had a tad too much of the balsamic sauce. Arugula salad: 4 stars, delicious with pine nuts, parmesan, lightly dressed with lemoniness. Eggplant parmesan: 10 stars. They knocked it out of the park with this one! Perfectly cooked eggplant slices (skin-on, but not at all bitter) with a unique sauce that tasted like it had red peppers in it, accompanied by the best spaghetti I have eaten in a restaurant and a garlic knot. The spaghetti had a different sauce than the one on the eggplant: this was more heavy on olive oil (my guess, anyway) and redolent with garlic fragrance. Seriously considered going back the next day to order it again. Service was great. Our only issue with our dining experience was all the fruit flies buzzing around our booth... we were seated next to the big window to the kitchen in the back, so I can only imagine that they were drawn to the light. I guess that's how much we loved the food, such that I am still awarding 5 stars! read more

Now i stumbled upon this tasty spot by mistake. It was a great find. It has a nice bar scene, but the pizza was what blew my mind . I gave the bbq chicken pizza & margherita pizza a try. The bbq chicken pizza was outstanding & came with a spicy kick (sliced jalapeños on top). Make sure you choose Detroit style for your crust. It's a very nice thick crust. My family and I went to dinner at Community Pie this evening and had a wonderful experience. A very family friendly establishment with great food and service. The garlic rolls were wonderful; especially with their specialty sauce. The pizza's were very well prepared, very unique, and tasted amazing. The highlight of the evening was our waitress, Everett. We went to Community Pie the other night while in Chattanooga. The food was ok, but not the best pizza I have ever had. It was kind of tasteless and they were so busy the slices we ordered were kind of cold by the time they got to table. The ricotta/honey appetizer was delicious.
