We had a really enjoyable dinner here on a weeknight. Our server was super friendly and knowledgeable about the food and the area. We learned about the owner's history, their food truck, and how they bring the truck to events and community groups around the region. Hubby had a birria beef taco and it was a little mild but very generous in size. I had the chicken poblano mole enchiladas and they were excellent, tender and flavorful but not too spicy, topped with lots of fresh onion and cilantro. Decent selection of beers on tap. Learned that they have a margarita tent at the Shirt Factory on Thursday nights during the summer so we'll definitely check that out. Wish we'd had room for the churros or Nutella empanadas which sounded pretty darn good. Prices are reasonable and the space is very relaxing. Will definitely go back again.

Restaurant is across from Crandall Library in Glens Falls. We tried the Birria and shrimp tacos for lunch. The place is simple, cute and clean. Waitress was friendly and helpful on picking what to eat. Will be back! Try it.

The restaurant had just opened when we got there so we were immediately seated and provided water and chips with salsa. Thank goodness we got there early because the place filled up quickly and was so loud by the time we left. Everything echoes horribly. I got three birria tacos and my husband got a stackwrap. Everything was bland. I had to pay extra for rice and beans, a staple of any Mexican meal, and they were also bland. Our waitress asked if we wanted more chips and salsa, she failed to mention they were 5 dollars extra. The only saving grace was the dessert. Absolutely amazing! But not enough to make me want to return to the restaurant

Beer here is excellent. Always good but heavily weighted with IPA's, NEIPA's, and sours- I can't…read moreunderstand why they or anyone would have more sours than they have lagers and pilsners. Yuck. But their single lager and single pilsner are always good/consistent. And they have one meddle/award that they are proudly showing off, and they should but guess what kind of beer it is? A Pilsner. Take the hint you don't need 17 easy to make no effort IPAs that all taste the same. Food seems like an afterthought here. It's consistently average. They make a decent pizza here, but it's always soggy. The outside crust typically is perfect, often with a light char which is nice, but underneath the cheese and sauce, which they to put too much of on and undercook it, you wind up with a soggy slice of pizza that tastes OK. I also had their poutine recently. I can live with the vegetarian turkey gravy, which tasted pretty good, cheese curds were OK but what's going on with these fries? Soggy, brown. Are they brown because they're fry oil is disgusting? Are they just cooking the crap out of these things. I can't imagine that's the case because they're not crispy at all and taste awful. Waiting and bar staff seem to be wonderful people- they're attentive, food comes out relatively quickly. Service is not rushed. Atmosphere in this place is pretty good though I would like to have the music turned up a little bit louder so it's just not background noise and so you can actually hear the lyrics or discern what song is being played. Music done right can be part of the experience. Right now it's just a soft rumble in the background and it just becomes an annoyance. There's literally been extensive research on music in your restaurant and bar and how loud it's supposed to be and the music selection. Why places like this pay absolutely no attention to that research is beyond me. MUSIC IS IMPORTANT! Treat it that way please. Ultimately, even though the food is averaged to below average, and I can't hear the music, we continue to come back here because of the beer . Imagine if they put the same effort into their menu...

We walked past Farmacy's window and one of the chefs gave a friendly wave. We stopped in (had eaten there before) and prepared ourselves for a sure to be delicious meal. If you want to sit at the bar you get a great view of the chefs at work preparing your meal. If you want a cozier experience, sit in the comfortable seating in the rear of the restaurant. Our server was very attentive but chill and knowledgeable. We got the Utica greens to share as an appetizer, a cocktail and Mad Max local beer, then a burger with hand cut fries and a chicken stuffed poblano. Dessert was a passion fruit chocolate tart which we took to go. If you're looking for well crafted food with a creative twist, this place is a great choice. North country friendly and approachable with a sophisticated set of offerings. Some really unique cocktails too. Not a boring thing on the menu.

Taylor was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Everything is made fresh daily, and if you sit at the Chef's Counter, you'll see it first hand. You'll also get great descriptions of everything from the awesome Chefs and maybe get to try something extra too. I recommend using the reservation system on their website and specify your seating preferences. You can choose from the Chef's Counter, the bar, a high-top table, a low table, or an outdoor table (weather permitting). We also appreciated them asking about food allergies on the reservation system too and they verified it when we arrived. We were so impressed with the unique menu options that are offered in the appetizers, small shareable plates, main courses, desserts, and drinks. We are already planning on coming back Sunday for brunch and know we'll be back again soon for dinner.

Well, I finally got here, and it was indeed worth it for me. The space is large and comfortable. Parking is convenient, usually spaces on US 9 right in front of their entrance is almost always available, and their downtown location makes it very convenient to visit other businesses. One of the reasons I like Mean Max so much is my preference for darker beers. They always have a number of them available, enough to make a flight of just those if you want (flights here are five 5oz. glasses), with quite a range of ABV's, if that matters to you. While the Troy taproom has numerous pinball machines, here they only have one Golden Tee with a large screen for it on the wall (something my friends would love). This area of Glens Falls is definitely worth a visit, and Mean Max should be part of it.

The only negative thing I can say is that now all other beer will lack in comparison.
