Carmen and Angelita were super nice and gentle walked me through everything and helped me with anything I needed like chapstick and tissue anything to be ready for procedures, and the doctor was just great, left my teeth looking so clean and white took care of all my cavities and nothing hurt!!! Def. worth it. Usually scared of dentist due to that I would take years to go back but def will be coming to my check ups as needed. read more

I gratefully found this place on Yelp. I completely chipped off a piece of my front tooth a night before my birthday. I refused to leave the house on my special day because I was depressed and insecure about it. Since I was home I was able to go into a deep dive search and find the RIGHT dentist who could fix my big problem. I found Comprehensive Dental and immediately noticed the pictures. Dr. Herrera was highly praised and he had the magic touch when it came to fixing chipped and/or cracked teeth just like I had. My birthday fell on a weekend, so I had to wait until Monday. I called Monday morning and was pleasantly greeted and assisted by Lettie. I was able to walk-in with no appointment, and Dr. Herrera did his thing. He first assured me that their would be "no pain" before he started the procedure, and he was right. My smile is still holding up, and it looks better than it did before. I can't even tell that I've had anything done. Most importantly I feel like he blessed me with a new smile for my birthday! On another note: I have been to most of the Dentist offices here in Inglewood. I personally feel that he was reasonably priced. It was an unexpected expense for me, but I definitely don't feel like I had to break the bank. read more

Inexperienced staff, wasted my time! First time they told me to come on Saturday at 12PM, but they were closed then the second time they make me film out so much unless paper work. When I finally see the orthodontist, he doesn't know what to do with my teeth after examing them then told me to go see my previous orthodontist, who was in Ohio. I don't want to pay $500 to go see my previous orthodontist. They suggested I need braces again. I called my old orthodontist and he told me to find another orthodontist because CD orthodontist does not know what they're doing. I found Dr. Herrera through my insurance company after having the ABSOLUTE WORST experience at New Smile Dental on LaBrea. To make a long story short, I went to New Smile on Tuesday 9/12/17 and was in Dr. Herrera's office on Friday 9/15/17!! When I got to the office I explained my situation to the women that work at the front desk (sorry I'm terrible with names) and they couldn't believe the experience that I had days before. They assured me that I was NOW in good hands and they were completely right!! Dr. Herrera made me feel very comfortable. He was soft-spoken, he explained everything that he was going to do and during my procedure he continually asked if I was in pain, if I was OK, he genuinely cared about my well-being. Talk about a blessing!! Even the pricing was affordable for me with my insurance and I didn't feel that he was just trying to make money. Every single person that I encountered in his office was a pleasure and I have definitely found my new dental home!! This office is very professional and friendly, it makes all the nerves go away. I have had dental issues all my life. I waited to go to the dentist way too long. I ended up going because I had an infection in one of my molars. Dr. Herrera was so kind and gentle. He took his time and did everything not to hurt me. I was very impressed. Within hours I started feeling better. Very little pain after the procedure. I have since had two other teeth removed and not the slightest pain during or after. I was referred to this office by my manager and a friend. I absolutely loved and enjoyed my visit. The two ladies at the front are friendly, helpful and courteous. This was my second visit. The dental assistant is sweet and funny (I was a nervous wreck.) He kept me laughing and calm. The dentist is wonderful! I walked into a very clean/pleasant office and immediately felt welcomed, everyone greeted me with a smile, and was very polite.
