There isn't enough good things I could say about this office. From start to finish, Giselle and the rest of Dr. Rohin's team were kind, professional, and accommodating. Dr. Rohin is an incredibly kind, intelligent and caring surgeon with gold standard bedside manner. I have always been really nervous going to the dentist, and having to remove 4 impacted wisdom teeth was terrifying to me. But Dr. Rohin explained the entire thing however detailed I wanted it, did a phone consult as well as went over it in person, talked me through when I was going under / cracking jokes the whole time to ease my mind, and his assistant (I think Tiffany? I can't remember) held my hand through the whole process. That same night I called because the hydrocodone was making me nauseous and guess who answered at 9PM, Dr. Rohin on the emergency line. Talked me through what I needed with all the patience in the world.. even after an extremely long day. Then called me a day later to make sure I was okay. A week later, I learned I wasn't flushing properly. I called in complaining of severe nerve pain in my jaw. They saw me within the hour I called and he did another incision to help alleviate the pain and show me how to flush properly... I cried like a little baby but rather than dismissing me or making me feel like I was overreacting, he went at MY speed. Comforted me, cracked jokes when appropriate... like I said, there is genuinely not enough nice things I could say about this practice. I will refer everyone I know to him. read more

I did not have a good experience with them. They lacked communication with patients The front desk did not bring to my attention that they are NOT Medicare providers at the appointment setup or checkin time. They gave me a bunch of papers to sign before the appointment which I did not get a chance to read bc I was called in. So I had to pay $750 out of pocket for just a scrape of the tissue to be sent for a biopsy. At the appointment the doctor did not communicate to me that he just going to get a piece of tissue for biopsy when I communicated to him that I would like that tiny piece of the white tissue to be totally removed and sent for biopsy. So he just scraped it a little and left the rest. I am not going to use their services in the future. read more

The office is clean and has a nice view of the LAX/Westchester area. The staff are all so kind, patient, and understanding. My son recently had his wisdom teeth extracted. He's usually rather calm and cool, but he was quite anxious about the process. He asked Dr. A questions before the procedure & was met with much kindness and patience. Following the procedure he had lots of unexpected nausea and was not feeling great. I reached out to the emergency #, as it was a weekend, and it just so happened that Dr. A was the one who responded! He was super helpful and got us some medicine to help with the nausea He continued to check in with us throughout the weekend and that helped my son's nerves tremendously. We are so grateful to Dr. A and the rest of the staff. Everyone was great!! So disappointed in Dr Brooks, I paid to have a implant and 10 years later it was so loose it almost fell out. I asked asked them if they stood behind their work. They never answered me, only charged me $600 to take it out. They did prepare the site, another $600. Still wouldn't say what the charges would be to replace their failed product. I finally got a bridge from another dentist. The implant is actually a small portion of implant cost, the actual tooth that a person uses is put in by another dentist. So I had to figure on another $4,000. Which by all reasonable thinking Dr. Brooks should have paid to fix his shady work. read more

Dr. Brooks has been the remover of all wisdom teeth in my family for decades, there's complete trust with his skill and the professionalism of all members of his staff. Today I had a wisdom tooth extracted by his associate Dr. Wood. I am supremely pleased at my experience, not only because I no longer am suffering but my appointment was handled very efficiently as was the extraction. Dr. Mardirosian spent quite a bit of time talking to me, answering my questions, and generally just putting my mind at ease. I had to make an account just so I could leave this review! This was the best dental experience I've ever had as an adult. I had two wisdom tooth extractions, and one of them was an emergency. I was extremely nervous. Although they are pricey, they were absolutely worth it and I'd do it again. I had an incredible procedure and recovery, with no swelling, and very minimal pain for two days. Granted, recovery can be different for everyone. But for me, it was a breeze. I honestly cannot recommend this dentist office enough. I just what could have been a very unpleasant wisdom tooth extraction with Dr. Chen. Because of Covid my husband couldn't wait in the waiting room which increased my anxiety. But the staff was so reassuring, everyone was masked and gloved up, and everyone was very professional. Dr Chen shared his knowledge of risks and benefits thoroughly. Abstract: Awesome dentist who is also a cool guy, but staff could use a refresh. *My experience confirms all of the reviews I read* The Positives (+5) Doctor Brooks is a legit dentist, great guy, excellent at his trade. My experience was better than I expected. The surgery was performed painlessly! Warren is also fun to talk to (about sports etc.) The Negatives (-2) They will try to upsell you! For extractions, they offer you the option of anesthetics - getting knocked out or just getting numbed locally. The latter is $4-500 cheaper. I openly told them they could punch me in the face for $500. I only found out when I asked for a breakout of costs. (Ultimately, it was a non-issue because I took the cheaper option, and still felt nothing!) The billing lady (I think its Lucy), is very condescending on the phone. I don't know who her usual audience is, but she will talk to you in a very demeaning tone over simple billing inquiries. read more

The staff are efficient and business-like. Very nice office, though the building is a little tired. For my actual surgery, my nurse was so nice. She told me everything she was doing. The pace was relaxed. I asked to be sedated and--for us chickens, there's nothing better! I don't remember falling asleep. I was having a pleasant dream, waiting for things to get under way--wheWhen Dr Brooks came in and said they were all finished I was dumbfounded. I never knew a thing. So nice! The team gave me all the guidance for post-op. I'm feeling fine. For oral surgery, I can't imagine things could be any better than this! I was referred for a fractured toothed to be extracted that was causing pain. The finance lady there was abundantly patient and kind and assured me that this was a common procedure and walked me through what had to be paid aside from what my insurance paid. I appreciate her fully for her demeanor and efforts! The doctor was kind of flat but pleasant as well. I don't remember his name but he was a darker complexion with dark straight hair. He was patient as well. However, there is a lady named Destiny there that is very short, unforgiving, and borderline rude. She should not be allowed to speak with customers because she always seems to show these passive aggressive traits. To be specific, this time around speaking with her, she called me to follow up on an appointment that was made for me that I hadn't shown for. It was certainly my fault for totally forgetting to call to cancel when I didn't come up with the money to pay for the procedure. I accept that and expressed my regret. I was definitely trying to come up with the $1200 that they told me I was to pay over the weekend, but I didn't and totally forgot the time of the appointment and to cancel. My fault. After I apologized, she went on to say..." I really wish you would have called, we had tons of emergencies that could have taken your place, and next time you schedule we will require the payment at the time of scheduling. Understood! She could have said, "I understand, people make mistakes or get busy and forget. We hope to reschedule you soon. Let us know how we can help in the future, and they may require payment at your next time of rescheduling for you missing this appointment without notice." Not just the words but her tone was off putting. Be a person. Use good retention skills for customers. Know the background of the situation... ie Friday I was asked to come in last minute, Friday I was advised of cash payment needed to complete surgery, Friday i informed them that I couldn't afford the surgery, but I would attempt to gather payment for the procedure but it may or may not be possible. Be more like the lady who helped me initially... Customer service driven, patient, human-like, and pleasant to speak with. I had a poor experience before with this lady but chose to not say anything. I now believe that good or bad people should know how well they are at their positions and how to treat people they come in contact with. I went there before with my insurance and sent my daughter for work as well. I am a patient with insurance and I deserve better treatment from staff, Destiny. read more
