Recommend the Chilequiles verdes and champurrado. Everyone loved the caldos and tortillas both flour and corn . Great service even for a large groups.

Who doesn't love a bowl of pozole and menudo on a Sunday lunch? The restaurant was full! Good sign that it is good! We got seated and they told us they are out of chips and salsa they are preparing some. We ordered the pozole rojo, pozole verde, menudo and the birria quesadillas. My favorite was the red pozole! I vanished that bowl in few minutes! What caught my attention is an older man walking in and it is his birthday. He was by himself so all the waitresses made sure he was well taken care of. It was really sweet to watch Everyone speak Spanish which made the experience more authentic. I will definitely be back

3rd time back! Gooood Food , great service! Food is Fresh, and served quickly. I have to go back because I NEED to try the pozole!

Con Amor Cocina came to our attention while looking for a good Chile en Nogada plate. We were also impressed by other regional menu items that are hard to find elsewhere. The waitstaff were prompt and attentive. The Chile en Nogada is a very special dish and requires extensive preparation. it's a September special- a labor of love to their craft. The dish was excellent, and served with poblano sauced pasta on the side. They also feature a Chile Nogada enchiladas plate, very clever. We're looking forward to many other return visits!

Great breakfast! Try the Chiliquiles Rellenos de Pollo en Mole, but bring a good appetite!

Chicken enchiladas! Hit the spot! Very authentic! Freshly made!

I remember driving past this restaurant and telling my girlfriend we should come back a different day when they are open. It's a good thing we came back! Con Amor Cocina has been open for about a year now and the food is fantastic! Their menu features many different options that you will not find at other Mexican restaurants. A true "hole in the wall", you'll find Con Amor Cocina tucked away in a residential area but it is a gem! I had the Chicarron Prensado and it was delicious. The salsa verde has a nice amount of heat to it and pairs well with the spanish rice. My girlfriend had the Asado De Puerco plate and loved it. The meat is seasoned perfectly and packed with flavor! We will be back. Most likely every Friday on our lunch date/break

Place has really good dishes, but not a place for people that like spicy foods. Sauces and Salsa were decent, but not enough kick.

The food was quite good, welcoming service in a neighborhood joint. Would definitely eat here again if I'm ever back in San Antonio.

Our Lyft driver recommended Mi Tierra as one of the best restaurants in the area. I ordered the Steak Tampiqueña combo and I am truly glad I did. The meat was very tender and flavorful, and the chicken enchilada that came with. It was absolutely delicious! The rice and beans were a nice addition, but I have to say the real star of the show was the homemade tortillas! Our server told us that there are two ladies in the back that make homemade tortillas all day long, and they were very tasty. I do absolutely recommend that you try this place if you are in the area. They also have a live mariachi band with singers that perform only on request for tips.

We started…read morewith the Pan Fila Conchota combo that is a combination of the two that is 1/2 gallon of hot chocolate made using a base of Abuelitas with additional cinnamon, and cocoa along with something special. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
