    No wait for breakfast!

Fantastic flavor! Got to practice my Spanish with the sweet server. We really appreciated being able to get a table right away! Such a nice little place.

Quaint place with big flavors! Great "breakfast all day" menu as well as lunch menu with significant variety. Everything I've tried has been delicious-- and there's still more I want to try! Highly recommend the cafe de olla, pan dulce, and infladitas. Service is always fast and friendly. Truly a hidden gem!

Food was 10/10. Service was a bit slow took around 30 min to get our food but it was definitely fresh. The mole was so good and I'm still dreaming of the jugo de maracuya (passion fruit).

Pan de Muerto.... Tastes better than it sounds- lol!

Amazing food and now amazing desserts! It had been a while since we stopped in- our loss The food here is authentic "Mexican" - not Tex Mex. Nice departure from the food I grey up with but SOOOO GOOOOO! Try it! Now! lol!

What a cute hidden gem!!! The owners greeted us and checked up on us personally which shows their pride in what they serve and do! This place is so cute! Very clean and the food was amazing! A little on the pricey side, but a peaceful place to try out!

This place is a delight. Lovely decor, excellent service. The food is amazing, I had the enchiladas divorciadas 3 enchiladas with a different sauce on each one. The mole enchilada was delicious. Dessert was also amazing. You definitely need to give them a try.

We started with a plate of chilaquiles and 6 plates later I fell in love with the business, service was great, very hospitable, and very quick service! Probably the best Mexican I've had in San Antonio, I would go back every week if I lived closer!

I finally got to try café de olla for the first time, and wow... I had no idea what to expect. I was shocked it was already perfectly sweet and so smooth! For lunch, we had chicharrón en salsa verde with Frijoles refritos and a plate of chilaquiles (both salsa verde and rojo) topped with eggs. And just when we thought it couldn't get better, they surprised us with complimentary chocolate-covered strawberries. From the warm service to the delicious food, this place is a hidden gem I'll definitely be coming back to.

    Ate it all!!

Great service & homemade food. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, reminded me of my abuelas cooking back in the day. We will definitely be back, recommending to our whole family.

    Mole poblano enchiladas

Absolutely the most authentic Mexican food experience you can find in SA This restaurant is a true hidden gem. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is something special. The owner originally from Puebla, Mexico, and they bring the real flavors, traditions, and love for food straight to your table. This is one of the very few places where you honestly feel like you're eating in Mexico. The food is outstanding beyond words. Every dish tastes homemade, rich in flavor, and perfectly seasoned. The salsas are incredible, the tortillas taste fresh, and each bite reminds you of real Mexican street and home-style cooking. You can truly taste the authenticity The restaurant is spotlessly clean, which immediately makes you feel comfortable, and the customer service is just as impressive as the food. The staff is warm, welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cares that you have an amazing experience. You're treated like family from start to finish. If you're craving real Mexican food (the kind that makes you close your eyes on the first bite) this is the place. This restaurant sets the bar very high and is easily one of the best Mexican food spots in the entire area. I will absolutely be coming back again and again. Highly, highly recommended!

    Asada gordita

Incredible, authentic mexican cuisine from Puebla Mexico region. Great moles. Presentation is also superb. Service was fantastic. The family is personable and wants to make sure you are happy with your food. The quaint restaurant is lovely.

    Huevos divorciados

Right off blanco road, big parking lot. Order cup of coffee and huevos divorciados. Wow two great sauces with perfectly cooked eggs and well flavored black beans. Can't wait to go back and try more items.

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

This place hits the mark on everything when it comes to breakfast…read more We had the standard huevos rancheros and the huevos benitos. Both were solid, especially the huevos benitos. I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. This is more than just dinner--it's an experience. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in San Antonio.

Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. Also, the entire restaurant is very dimly lit. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to read the menu, but I have poor eyesight so there's that, but it might explain the quality of the photos I took. The Paloma drink was amazing. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

We sat on the back patio for dinner on a day when it was 100 degrees out and there were fans all over to help keep the air flowing, which helped immensely. They have some interesting cocktails, such as their jalapeño cucumber margarita which is made with ghost pepper infused tequila. Their salsa tray is nice too, they have 4 to select from and you get three in this appetizer, but we ordered the 4th as well and all were pretty nicely done. The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. Save room for dessert, they have amazing churros! Overall, this was a decent visit. Service was nice too. I'd recommend stopping in.

It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
