Great experience recently obtaining some replacement dual pane glass window panes for my wife's seller - clients.

The gardeners, and I use this term loosely because these guys are not skilled, accidentally chucked a rock into our patio door and it shattered. I assumed that the entire door was going to come crashing down and all of the coyotes living in the brush behind our house would come strolling in, but Julio calmed my fears and explained that the glass had two panels so if it did come down, the other panel would keep us protected. I was referred to Concord Glass for a commercial installation. I contacted Julio for a estimate and he was at my office within 20 minutes. Julio was very knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me a written invoice for two types of glass replacements. He followed up with me a few hours later to see if I had made a decision and was very patient while I got the repair approved. When I contacted him to come out and complete the repair he was ready and at my office in about half and hour and had the window installed in less than 15 minutes. I am so happy I found Concord Glass. A few of my dual pane windows failed so I wanted to replace the glass for the windows. I found Concord Glass based on a neighbor's recommendation on Nextdoor.com and I cross referenced it on Yelp. Both sites have great reviews so I called them and two other companies. During Covid19 all the companies wanted me to measure the windows myself except Brian from Concord Glass. I have very tall ceilings so there was no way that I could climb up that high to measure it. Brian is very professional and very knowledgeable. He taught me a lot on different types of dual pane windows and walked around with me checking all the windows to see which one needed replacement. He is very honest and did not tell me to replace more than I need. He gave me the best price and the glasses were ready in less than a week after I paid the deposit. They came today and did a great job of installing the windows. Julio, the owner is very nice too and all the workers wore masks and shoe covers so they wouldn't get my floor dirty. I had a project to remove old shower glass panels and install new frameless ones. We had to stage out the project because after removal of the old glass we decided to refurbish our shower pan as well. Julio was very responsive and gave a fair quote. We choose Concord Glass because of of the Yelp recommendations and we were not disappointed. They set a realistic timeline about when to expect the new custom glass. The finished the installation in a few hours as planned. When complete, the shower looked incredible! After using the shower a couple of time we noticed some leaking under the shower door. We called Julio and they came out the next day to make the minor adjustments. Concord Glass deserves 5 starts for service and 5 stars for workmanship. Have you ever had a slew of bad customer service experiences, and think to yourself "I'm really due for a break with this crap"? I found Concord Glass (Brian) here on Yelp. After reading a review or two, I felt I would be in good hands. It's not easy to get good, reliable contractors today, but Brian is not one of the slackers. He works by himself, so he knows that his work is good and I bet he has very few complaints, if any. I called him a week ago Friday, when we'd discovered one of our front bedroom windows had been broken, by someone who threw a couple of rocks through it. We immediately looked for a local glass repair company and after I found Concord Glass, I didn't feel the need to go elsewhere. Brian came the next day, ordered the glass and installed it in seven business days. At least we didn't have rain to speak of and I was able to jam some cardboard in the window frame, to keep out the elements the best I could. We never use that bedroom, so we were fortunate in not having to worry about the cool air, etc. I found Brian to be very reasonable in his repair cost and I'd highly recommend him to anyone. If you need faster service, you may have to look elsewhere, but I don't know if you'd get as good as service as Brian offers. Too boot, he's a very nice guy and easy to work with. read more

Whoa! Don't call this place! I'm a homeowner in Concord and these guys suck! I needed a window replaced, they took my money, and never finished the job. Julio is the worst! We needed to order a part and Julio wasn't getting back to me. He told me to be patient. I had to call him 5 weeks later and he told me that I should just go down to home depot to buy the part. I'll start by saying that I didn't actually hire this company for the for the following reason- I called to ask about getting a shower door installed. I wanted something that would be kid friendly, meaning I would have good access to the kids when they were in the tub. The guy on the phone was honest enough to share his opinion that with small kids, you should just keep the curtain until they are bigger. I strongly recommend Concord Glass as they did a great job from start to finish. I called on a Friday afternoon and left a message. Maybe an hour later or less Julio returned my call. He gave me an over the phone estimate for my glass shower stall & set up a next Monday time for him to come to the house and take measurements. I thought I wanted a frameless shower, but because our shower stall is a small 36x36 inches, he recommended a framed shower or it would leak. He showed me a photo and we decided to get the framed glass since leaks did not sound like a good idea. Julio called a few days later and said my glass was ready and they could come out on Thursday. Brian & Justin came out to install. They spent a fair amount of time adjusting and lining things up before installing. I got a little worried that they were having problems because my shower wall is not plumb. But they were done in less than 3 hours and it looks beautiful! All that measuring and adjusting meant that my shower was perfectly installed because the door stays open exactly where you put it, which makes it easy to leave ajar to let the stall dry out. I needed to have a heavy, frameless shower door uninstalled and reinstalled in a short period of time. I contacted the original installer and they told me I had to wait two days for them to come out to uninstall and two additional weeks for a reinstall. This was not warranty work, we were going to pay for the work to be done. When I told the appt person that we were without our shower for a month already and asked if there was any way they could come in and do the work sooner, it sounded like she couldn't be bothered. I found Concord Glass on Yelp and called them based on the good reviews. There's a reason why they get five stars for their reviews. The fit me in to their schedule to take the door down and came back as soon as the tile work was finished. They were on time, neat and very pleasant to deal with. I had a difficult piece of glass on my roof/ sunroom that needed repairing, and was having trouble finding someone to do the job... enter Julio! I called several other glass companies in the area, and was told they didn't work on roofs and to call a roofer, but each time I called a roofer they told me to call a glass company! Guess I'm one of the customers who had a so-so experience with Concord Glass. About nine months ago Concord Glass installed double-pane uv glass into my windows frames. There was a problem with two glass windows. Concord Glass replaced them. Now as I was washing the windows I noticed that the uv in one pane has shifted and caused a crease. The mark it made of course cannot be removed. The owner and workers were very accommodating but the workmanship could have been better. It's been hard for me to refer them to others. read more

I had them replace a sliding glass door pane in August of '11. It didn't occur to me to write a review then. But now that I'm calling them again, I really need to. The job they did for me was relatively quick and inexpensive. In a perfect world, that would not be worthy of 5 stars. I'm a perfectionist, after all. :-) But it's not a perfect world. Most contractors are not interested in small little repairs. Many of them want the big sale or they want nothing at all. And many of them will manipulate the situation to make the big sale happen. I'm a contractor myself in a different profession. I see what goes on in the trades. Concord Glass performed my little repair cheerfully, efficiently and without an agenda. And then they dealt with my annoying little self just as cheerfully. At the time I was concerned about an issue related to the repair that I knew very little about. I was suffering from just a bit of the Dunning-Kruger effect, which is to say I think I know it all. ;^) Concord's boss man dealt with me like a pro. read more

My first experience with Concord Glass Inc was a couple days ago on Xmas Eve. I had an emergency need to get a broken slider window repaired. I called and Julio answered. I explained that I needed a piece of glass installed into an empty slider and that I could bring the slider in. At first he said they were closed for the holiday weekend, but then he asked me for the dimensions and gave me a price then he said he could do it. He asked me how soon I could be there. 45 minutes later my dad and I met him at his shop and in about 30 minute my broken slider window was as good as new. Thank you so much Julio! Concord Glass is FANTASTIC. Brian was very helpful and informative when I first called for a quote and information on installing a frameless shower door for our remodeled Master Bathroom. They not only stuck to their original quote, we ended up adding an extra 6" of glass for a very fair price. On top of that, Julio came on the Friday morning of a 3 day (Labor Day) weekend, and my beautiful brand new door was in by 10:30am the following Friday! Julio also made another trip to personally drop off a bottle of Bio Clear to our doorstep the following Monday. This review is long overdue. I was having my master bathroom remodeled and needed to find someone to install the glass on my new shower. I contacted 3 places for quotes. Concord Glass returned my call quickly and gave me a rough quote over the phone. I called back a week or so later to make an appointment for measurements. Brian showed up on time, explained different options, carefully measured and scheduled a time for the installation. The installers came exactly when they were supposed to and finished in the amount of time promised. The glass enclosure is absolutely beautiful! I really appreciated that they were always on time and did exactly what they said they would do. They were also genuinely nice people, not "wheeler-dealers".
