    Crunch Lunch

Stopped here spontaneously when we were in town for the weekend. We were just going on what we thought was a short walk across the bridge but ended up discovering the path to the waterfall wasn't far from where we were. We just wanted something small to share so we got the 2 taco lunch deal. My taco was delicious and had plenty of chicken on it. The sauce was good. Their garden salsa was delicious! The bacon refried beans? Trash. They weren't good at all and I was happy to skip them altogether. It wasn't a very big serving to begin with and between the two of us we still didn't finish them. I ordered a Harvest Pear margarita and it was amazing! I wanted to order one to go but it was too cold out to carry around a cold drink.

I've visited this Condado location multiple times, usually with a group of 6-10 people on Sunday afternoons. For Sunday lunch we usually are seated right away and served well. Condado's dips are very good. They have multiple varieties of queso and guacamole which are all tasty. The chips aren't my favorite, they lack flavor and salt usually. I've also ordered them to go to take next door to Getaway Brewery. I usually order the tacos on the menu instead of making my own. Blue Dream and Lucy's Fire are my go-tos but today I tried the seasonal Orange-Glazed chicken and liked it too.

I've been a fan of Condado for quite a while. I usually get an assortment of their specialty tacos (shoutout Lucy's Fire and Sweet Heat). The 'bud box' is always a good move -- comes with two specialty tacos and a side of chips and queso. The catch though, is it can only be ordered online. It used to be $10-11, but they recently increased the price to $13-14. Disappointing, but the queso is so good that I think it's still worth it. That said, when I recently got take-out from this location, I decided to switch it up and try a build your own bowl. Glancing back at the menu as I write this, I'm now wishing I would've opted for the fire-roasted street bowl as this one comes with topped with Mexican street corn. Oh well, anyway my bowl was pretty good and the ingredients tasted fresh. It was also just the right amount of food -- I was able to finish the whole thing without feeling overly stuffed. If you've never been to Condado, I recommend giving it a try. Everything I've gotten has been good, so I'm sure you can't go wrong.

Arrived shortly before 3pm on a beautiful Monday afternoon. Sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of Modelo Especial. Strike one. Ended up getting a $4.50 16oz can of PBR. My date ordered traditional chorizo soft flour tacos, and they arrived almost immediately. Like 2 beer sips. The meat was well seasoned with a trickle of heat. Finished the late snack stop with some chilled Patron. Our bartender was nice and overall had a great experience.

I'm a foodie and some might even say I'm a food snob, so I am not a fan of most places I've eaten in Ohio. I stumbled on this place by accident, but what a wonderful surprise that turned out to be! The steak tacos were the best I've ever eaten and that includes extensive experience on the west coast, southwest and southern Texas. Their flour wrapped crunchy corn tacos are so incredible that you wonder where this has been your whole life! I tried both steak tacos and they are incredible! The brisket ones are good but 1 star lower in my book. The margaritas are small and overpriced, but phenomenally great - especially the spicy one! A must try!

Condado is a popular spot for Americanized tacos in Columbus, with several locations. This location is in the old town area in Dublin, and you can walk between Old Town Dublin and Bridge Park on the pedestrian bridge. We went on one of those perfect fall evenings and really enjoyed the patio. If you're looking for funky tacos and make your own whatever, this is a good spot to get them. I'm not a huge fan of the make your own wrap/bowl/salad concept any more, so usually prefer my tacos from somewhere else. But it's a fun casual place with good drinks and I enjoyed the queso as well.

The blue dream taco was genuinely one of the best tacos I've ever had. I'd eat it over and over again. The juicy Lucy was also delicious. Service was fast.

Service. The food was 20+ minutes late than was communicated. The excuse of a busy kitchen isn't acceptable.

I had already viewed the menu before hand and found a couple must have items. we ordered the empanadas ( cheese and chicken) Taco Arepas, Sweet and Sour Pork Belly and Hallaquitas Chicharron's. These dishes were seasoned so well, the sauces provided were perfection. At one point we both said we could just drink the cilantro sauce. We also got the mini sweet arepas and while parts of the dish were good it was an interesting mixture to have as one bite. None the less this place is a 10/10 for flavor, service was amazing we felt very taken care of and the pricing was very reasonable For a scratch kitchen. This place is a must try!

Knowing the power that online reviews can have and taking some experiences with a grain of salt…read morehere and there because sometimes you hit that one off day where maybe a place that's normally epic just doesn't quite have their stuff together, I find that I end up giving 5 stars in a range that goes from "really good" to "Michelin needs to stop in here (or already has)." This is definitely on the latter end of the spectrum. I popped in here tonight for a late dinner (830ish on a Saturday) to find the place relatively busy but with plenty of open seats. The decor was a nice mix of dark and light with the bright green accents plus a big screen TV cycling tropical getaways (I assume from places in Latin America). I was seated and tended to quickly by a hostess and server, respectively. I got my order in for a coconut mojito and a chicharron arepa right away. My mojito came shortly thereafter with my arepa not long after that. The mojito, as you can see, was garnished with a generous amount of shredded coconut on top and was heavier and creamier than a normal mojito, lighter on the mint flavor and pushing closer to a piña colada than a mojito. All in all though, still quite a refreshing drink after a hot and humid day. The arepa though was really the star of the show. The flavors and textures and everything about it were just mind-blowing. The handmade cheese, the incredibly seasoned and cooked pork, and the crispy arepa were all just *BOOM*. The avocado had a little bit of surface darkness on the one end that could have been polished up a little bit but not the end of the world. One I finished with these, I waited patiently for a while for my server to come back but alas I had to pop up to the bar to get my caipirinha. This version was slightly sweeter than some versions I've had and I don't mind sweet, but just be aware for those who may be considering it. Eventually, my server came back and apologized for being gone so long as she was conversing with her boss. Like I said... grain of salt. Aside from a minor inconvenience of having to walk 10 feet to the bar myself, this place absolutely blew me away and I will absolutely come back if I ever find myself in town again. Bonus points for having gluten and allergen callouts on their normal menu as well!

The main dining space there has five tables in the main area plus three booths. We chose one of the booths which just gave us tiny bit of privacy and additional comfort. Eli brought us waters and complimentary chips and salsa. The salsa was excellent and chips were fresh. The menu has both Peruvian items and Mexican items. They are known for their chicken so I ordered two chicken tacos and one shrimp. My husband ordered el pastor and the carne asada. We also ordered a causa de pollo to share. Not knowing what the causa de pollo was (Peruvian dish) we were quite happy when it arrived. Turns out it is pureed yellow potato and yellow chili paste formed into two round circles. Then with their broiled chicken shredded, raw carrot, green onion and a tiny bit of sweet mayonnaise (similar to Japanese mayo) It was the shining star of this meal. Perfect. We shamelessly mmmmmm'd and ooooooooh'd while eating it. (True) Soon our tacos came out. They were well presented and came on taco stands. They looked much better than the last two taco places we went to. We bit into them and they tasted amazing. Our favorite was the chicken with a house green mystery sauce. We left full and happy. 4 star rating only for restaurant not having enough cash to give us exact change and also for charging customers 3% more if they used credit. Service and food were both was excellent, otherwise.
